We were stranded late Saturday night in Boone on the last day of our vacation because our rental car got a flat and the spare tire was bad. We were able to communicate with Abby Cab late Saturday night and they secured a car for us first thing Sunday morning to drive us two hours to the Charlotte Douglas Airport in time for our flight. Tommy was kind and prompt and a very knowledgeable and safe driver. His vehicle was safe and clean for installing the two carseats for my kids. I needed to get her to a bus station over an hour away from her location so she could make it back home to California. I first tried the usual ride hailing apps but found them to be unpredictable in fulfilling rides from that remote location which concerned me due to the necessity to be on schedule to make connections. I then turned to Yelp and used the "request quote" option to put the ride details out for bid. With a stroke of luck, Carolina Penn Transportation's owners Darrell & Tricia messaged me and offered a very competitive bid definitely inline with the competition. Darrell, in particular, stayed especially communicative throughout the process which gave me assurance. When the departure date arrived, Darrell again confirmed in the morning and his amazing driver, Tommy, arrived a half hour early in a very nice SUV so he could confirm the pickup location. Once confirmed, he moved to wait offsite stating to take your time and call him when ready. The ride was smooth and safe and upon arrival at the destination Tommy ensured my family member had all she needed and ensured her safety which I truly appreciated. I can't recommend this business enough and would recommend anyone who needs professional, reliable and family friendly transportation to give them a try! Thanks again Darrell and Tommy!

My parents were on a roadtrip in the area and had gotten into a big accident. The car was totaled and my mother, who had recently suffered a heart attack, was very shaken. Naturally I was very concerned about their condition and that they were without a means of reaching their next stop (many miles away). I called Abby Cab in a panic and Heather was very very compassionate and understanding. She was very easy to talk with and the company responded quickly to confirm whether they could drive my parents. I also found the company to be very honest and reasonable in their pricing, which I deeply appreciated because I was very desperate at the time and probably would have paid anything for the safety of my parents. She followed up via calls and text, gave me great updates via texts along the way. I really felt like my parents were in great hands. They told me that the car was very clean and comfortable, and that their driver Mike was amazing to them. Abby Cab really came through for my family. Highly recommend them for transportation. I wish more companies were like this!
