The people are friendly, courteous and conversational. I have yet to try the food but from what I hear, its been highly rated. Its a great place to unwind after a hard day and the sheer peace and quiet of the rural area is welcome. Walking into the Holly Bush is like going back in time to a time when pubs had character. And character is a trait that this pub has in heaps. Enjoyable!

A MUCH better price than the hotels right next to the airport, yet this hotel/pub is just minutes from the hotel. The room was large and the bathroom was so nice and updated! The cow art in the hallways was sooooo cute! I loved loved it! The pub service could have been more attentive, but we were a little impatient as we wanted to repack for the flight the next day. The food was good! My husband enjoyed his flatbread pizza. My gammon steak was incredibly salty, like way too salty. Free parking. Easy check in/out Good WiFi We are back in the UK in August and we're already booking our overnight stay at this hotel. We're looking forward to it. Who says that about their night before a long flight?

Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant. The portions are huge and I'm always left with enough food for another meal but save room for the Holly Bush sundae because you wont ever have a such a selection of tasty locally made ice cream :) The prices are great too, last time I went it was around 30quid for the 2 of us.

There were four beers on handpumps and, as I was driving, I had to rely on other's opinions on three of them. All agreed that they were tasty and well-kept; high praise from a gathering of CAMRA members! The menu was excellent and, although none of us were there to dine, the smells were beautiful, plus we saw the chef eating his own food always a good sign. Looking around the building one is impressed by the stylish yet friendly atmosphere including the beer gardens, which include the famous brook, which is the site of the annual duck race at Easter raising a phenomenal amount of money for charities.
