However my friend was a personal friend of the owner, and they ended up having to stop being friends with him because he's crazy ... apparently. He's mean and treats the employees like crap. This restaurant is amazing, but my parents, friends and I stopped going once we heard a whole bunch of drama happened at one point. My mom refused to go, boycotting the restaurant. I used to frequent this restaurant/pub, and I've spent alot of money there. In the past few months, I have not been there. I went back today (approximately 5 p.m October 8th 2023). Not only was the service at the bar slow and rude, the bartender was conversing with gentlemen sitting on either side of me at the bar. She bragged that any person she didn't like or she felt was rude to her (apparently she took the phone orders), she would ask the kitchen to "spit" on certain call-in orders. I would not only stay far away from this place, but I would advise anyone else to do so as well. I'm contacting the health department about this on Monday. We've been here 2 times now and it keeps getting better and better. The chips and queso are great ( chips have A LOT of salt/seasoning).
