Hired Boris to clean a micro suede sectional and a white boucle armchair. he came with one worker, set up the water then left the entire time only to return for collecting payment. at that time I did not think I needed to go to the living room to check how clean of a job he did. pretty straightforward. so I paid and a little later went out to move the armchair back into the nursery. HORRIFIED that my boucle armchair was RUINED. The machine must have been too strong and essentially ripped the boucle balls into long whisps of wool. The chair looks like a wet dog. It was SO upsetting. I immediately contacted him but he gave me a bunch of excuses like this never happens- but it did. And. He left it like that. And then mansplains to me with a screenshot of google results about shaving boucle?! As a ten months postpartum mom I was hoping to get the couch cleaned and my basically new armchair stain removal. I had clearly explained some denim had rubbed off. he said his worker said there were lint balls that had to be removed. When I use my hands and pick off the lint balls, I do not tear the fabric. they were callous and not knowledgeable with delicate fabrics. Then I see on his IG stories, he has taken the liberty to film marketing content from out apt of the view and the inside of our living room, featuring pictures of our children and the contents of the room. All without consent. extremely unprofessional. He refunded my cleaning money but honestly now my thousand dollar nursing armchair is ruined and upsets me every time I go intoy baby's room. Was it worth the couch clean. NO. I allowed him the change to make right his wrong but he didn't even try to come back right away to fix the problem. If you have microfiber or ikea furniture maybe ok. But anything that requires careful attention, please go to someone with more experience. You do not leave a non speaking worker with a machine and expect it to work on everything from rugs to all different material couches. It's common sense. You don't use a floor cleaner for washing dishes. So one machine with one purpose can't be used on anything and everything. I'm still so upset now I have a ruined armchair. I have before and after images of the boucle. Horrific. lol read more

I needed help with cleaning up my basement after the heavy rain. After the down pour, the water filled the basement; when it drained out, it left a layer of dirt that was beyond what I could clean on my own with a mop. I was able to get an appointment quickly and price was reasonable. I opted for the disinfecting option too, which was a little more but I'm happy I went with that option since the floor was flooded with water and I didn't want to worry about mold or any other problems. The job started early in the morning and was done in a few hours. They were kind enough to move the few furniture we had as they worked. Carpet was cleaned today. It was heavily pet stained, with urine odor. Boris responded quickly to my inquiry, and was able to clean the carpet the next day. Boris showed up within the time frame with a wonderful co-worker, Shakur. They did an amazing job. The carpet was a very expensive carpet at the time, and is now 33 years old--- and well used in those years. Boris and Shakur were both amazing. Boris gave me a gift which I thought was very thoughtful and seems to never happen these days anymore. I was looking to switch companies to someone that was local to my area in Brooklyn. I also was looking for someone that wasn't going to increase the rate all the time and a company that was going to not have all these weird marketing gimmicks, like $40 off but only if you spend xx amount, etc. The $40 off doesn't really mean anything if I have to spend more just to make the minimum amount. I was also looking for someone that was available to do it sooner. Luckily he was able to come the day that I called. I think because of the holidays there was more freedom as people are probably traveling and with family, but I was still much happier with that then having to wait until next week with a different company. A big reason why I also went with them was because when I asked for quotes he didn't ask for pictures or a phone call. Someone responded via message right away with an estimate based off the information I gave them. It's much easier to just go with a company that can be quick and give you what you need - A PRICE - then to have to do a back and forth with endless calls. In the end the appointment was right away, the estimate was quick and straightforward, and the service was professional and friendly. Also Shakur loved my cat and was very kind to him.
