When we arrived, the gentleman at the desk said he had made a mistake and thought we were calling for the next day. Even so, Jim, the starter, was super accommodating and said he could get us off the back 9 if we could hang around for 30 minutes while he got an outing out. Not only did he invite us to the chipping range, he kept us posted the entire time of where we were in the lineup. The course itself is beautiful. Long, wide and hilly. Incredibly well-maintained. The little clubhouse is vintage in the very best way, yet, there restrooms were updated and super clean. We came in and decided to have lunch on the patio and the chicken sandwich and patty melt we ordered were top notch. The entire staff was super kind and helpful- it was simply a great experience. Can't wait to come back; I think we just found our new favorite course.

A cute little 9-hole/par 35 course located in Birmingham, MI. I don't mean to be rude to the other…read morereviewer, but you do NOT have to be a "member" or the guest of one to play. To quote the website: "Both courses are open to everyone!" I'm not a member (and I don't know a member), and I've played there plenty of times. It costs about $20 to play the whole nine holes (plus extra if you want to rent a cart). They take reservations up to a week in advance (and on-line if you do chose to become a member) but they also take walk-ins, and you can wait as a "single" for an accommodating group to join. A side-note, the course is open in the winter for free sledding & cross-country skiing.
