They have plenty of space to play with your animals and they have different events to keep people engaged. I highly recommend this park for relaxing and having fun. My oldest and I occasionally practice soccer at this park as well. I can't wait to see what other type of improvements they will add. We also love it when they sponsor Art in the Park, as it allows an opportunity for other to experience local artists.

Virginia Park is at the confluence of the Ohio and Big Sandy Rivers and it is the most westerly point in West Virginia. It's been around before West Virginia was a state (hence the name VA Point). No longer open to vehicular traffic, this covered bridge spans Fox Creek in a single 90 foot span…read more The Wikipedia article on the bridge https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ringos_Mill_Covered_Bridge disputes whether or not it is a "Burr truss" and I take no position on that. The sign on the bridge indicates that it was built circa 1869 (after the end of the Civil War) and is an "81 foot Multiple Kinpost Truss". And that's good enough for me. The bridge is in fantastic condition (recently restored?) and there was absolutely no graffiti, perhaps because it is situated rather fat from most traffic and people. It is 7 miles from here to I-64 at the Kentucky Route 801 exit. If you're interested in covered bridges, this is worth a stop to admire. There is at least one park bench to sit. There is a second bridge downstream and 5 miles by road. A park to play…read more The Emery Bennitt park is a huge area of over 200 acres. Lot of of room to run, walk or seek some quiet. The park has lots of places to play, softball, baseball and soccer fields are everywhere. Well maintained and taken care of, these are places where young ones will learn about sports and what teams and competition is about. The park is a place that anyone can use. So nice that such a cool place is available for all.
