I emailed a few times and called and each time I had prompt responses with courteous service and that is big when planning logistics of a trip. The places is family owned and each person that works there shows care for the Ranch, their role there and pride in what they do. The whole family feel made it feel like we were family. We stayed in a "Cabin" which was cozy and lovely for 4 nights. It had a super comfy bed (love the sheets!), fridge and they even accommodated us with a microwave for our personal needs. The best touch was the wood burning stove and we lit fires 3 of the nights even in July which was such a nice touch. They provide everything you need for a fire. The meals were all included and were divine! From the salmon, to the grass fed steak (my fav!) to the unique desserts (chocolate lava cake anyone?) we ate like Kings! It's family style dining as far as you are sitting at tables with other ranch goers which made for lovely conversation. One breakfast was out remote from the kitchen/dining area and we ate on a cliff overlooking sunrise. Pretty special! The views are to die for. From every angle. We even did a 2 mile hike (round trip) to see a waterfall that was remarkable! Tons of wild flowers in every direction. While we did not ride horses, we did enjoy the grounds with sunrises and coffee, the pool over looking the horses and the hot tub! Humming birds whirl Around you all the time and you get tons of pics with chickens and ducks. One of our favorite nights was listening to an acoustic guitar with Cowgirl music played by Caitlyn in front of the lake at sunset!!! Don't hesitate to make this experience happen whether you have a family reunion, honeymoon, vacation or just something new. Lisa, Randy, Patty, Amanda, Spencer and all will help you have the time of your life!

You can ride twice a day on a horse you are matched - experience and temperament-wise - to. You'll meet many who share your love of the outdoors and horses. There's SO MUCH GOOD FOOD - home baked cookies every day - you'll need a wagon to haul you home. You can try out: tomahawk throwing, archery, shooting, lassoing, fly fishing, river rafting, hiking, dancing, singing, yak viewing, cattle work, camping... This family owned and operated business pays attention to you and every detail. A dream vacation, on a dream horse that I wish I didn't have to wake up from. "When I bestride him, I soar, I am a hawk: he trots the air; the earth sings when he touches it; the basest horn of his hoof is more musical than the pipe of Hermes." - William Shakespeare

But now, in reflection these questions were unfounded. BMR is a GREAT experience and fantastic way to get close to the majestic outdoors of Colorado. Most of all a week of understanding and playing the role of a cowboy...priceless. The crew of wranglers takes care to make sure you have a great time, the entire kitchen/dining staff provides all the awesome food for the week, housekeeping is on the spot and above all the service levels provided to guests is 100% focused and quality. The entire camp got to know each other and EVERYBODY HAD A UNBELIEVABLE TIME. Bryce thanks to you Ryan and Amy for your hospitality and providing such a great team: Grace, Patrick, Kate, Ben, Matt, Brielle, Will, Maggie, Shelby and all others who I might have unintentionally missed...you were all great. Carla and I continue too to talk/rave about our experience at BMR and show all our pictures to our neighbors and now look to determining our next visit to BMR. Family-owned and operated, with wonderful horses and staff and a variety of activities, BMR goes above and beyond. My friend and I visited again this past week, for the 3rd time over the last several years. And we will certainly return! The scenery is gorgeous and the guest cabins are beautiful, clean, well kept and rustic. The food is delicious--3 excellent meals served each day. They can accomodate various levels of riders and safety is first. The attention to detail and the kindness of the May family as well as their staff, clearly makes this a wonderful experience. We feel very fortunate to have found BMR! Robin L.

My cousin made sure all neighboring ranches got their fair share of irrigation water from the spring run off. Tragically he passed away in a car accident back in February. Wyoming winters are not kind so the services for my cousin were not held until June. The management of Brush Creek were so gracious to our family to provide a building and seating area for the ceremony at the nearby Ditch Camp( The place where the irrigation water is regulated and distributed) which was so appropriate for my cousin. The next day we scattered some of his ashes at the Ditch Camp. Brush Creek's commitment to the community and helping it to thrive for the nearby towns is much needed. Brush Creek is geared more as a resort and to it's guests but they are very welcoming to their neighbors and eager to have a good relationship with the community and that means a tremendous amount to my family.

I have never experienced such services on so many levels and the food quality and presentation was the best I've ever seen or tasted. I would recommend Brush Creek to anyone looking for a luxury ranch experience. If you need to escape your life for just a few days then you need to go spend time at Brush Creek! Thank you to everyone that help makes this such an awesome adventure!!! Joe T.
