While we got one through ShutterBooth that was somewhat nonexistent, our guests were able to think for themselves and enjoy the photobooth! Our booking was relatively simple. They had availability for our wedding day (the initial one and the our re-planned one), and the explanation of what we initially wanted was pretty easy to understand. The options didn't change, other than the destination of where they'd set up and on what day, but the uniqueness and customization was known within the final couple weeks. During the final couple weeks, we received a couple calls to confirm the itinerary, our booth look and feel, album, photo print layout, and other logistics of the day. All seemed very detailed and professional. Pros: The boot looked pretty typical but not flashy, hidden towards the side of our venue. We had the standard black drapes and items to put on or use in the photos. It was big enough for 5 people comfortably, but some photos we squeeze a few more people in as we all started drinking more. All of our photos came out great for our guests and for our album, where many chose to write messages to us in the photo album. We also received a digital copy of all of our stuff. Cons: Our "host" wasn't very interactive. Luckily our guests knew it was there and were pretty rowdy to be able to help themselves, or else nobody probably would have used it. I remember arriving to the photobooth with my wife to do a photo sessions and all of the props were still packed up in the box. We did end up with a lot of photos that people did, so clearly the "host" didn't deem whether the photobooth would be successful or not.

Our contacts pre-wedding were great and I think we ended up getting a number of great shots from the booth throughout our reception. The 4-star just has to come from the professional side of the booth set-up. The staff person on-site was remarked on by a few guests as a bit less than pleasant. Perhaps slightly annoyed at times for printing multiple copies of the picture strips. There was also zero orientation for guests to the booth itself, leading to a failure rate of ~20-25% of our photos. By this I mean, they never told guests that there were 4 photos per session or that they came every 3 seconds (very fast if costume-changing), leading to folks scrambling and missing at least one of the 4 photos in nearly every single set. Personally, I as the groom approached her at the end of the night (to her credit, 1 minute after closing) and asked for one last quick photo. She promptly denied, stated it was past closing, and proceeded to take down the background in front of me. It absolutely was past closing, but everyone around remarked on how rude the reply was - and how would any of the guests know when closing was for this vendor. Felt like the staff could have handled the event with more professionalism and it would have resulted in a better product overall. That said, we loved many of the photos and I know guests enjoyed the experience.

I've had the pleasure of attending 2 weddings with a Pop-Up Studio and it kept me and my friends entertained all night. I missed the ceremony, cake-cutting, first dance and Cha-Cha Slide but I'd do it all over again in a second...I was simply having too much fun at the 'Studio. Dave, the photographer, has a big screen which shows you your pictures in real-time, so you can make sure you're looking on-point (or off-point, if that's your shtick). The lighting is always great, picture quality fantastic, and he takes great pictures of the bride/groom too. If you're in or near the Detroit area, you gotta go with PUS. And if you're not, fuel up the G5 and get them there anyway! You won't regret it.

I loved to put on the crazy hats and props and laugh with my friends. In one picture I look like I am doing something inappropriate with a microphone, but really I was just pretending to sing - this kind of ambiguity is what keeps folks on their toes and the pictures hilarious! The individual that took the photos shows you the shots simultaneously as they are taken. My photographer was Dave who was professional and handsome.

We like to make this conference more of an experience than just a conference so we usually have a fun photo booth for attendees to use. Well, our usual go to provider dropped us last minute, leaving us scrambling to find a replacement. THANK GOODNESS, I happened to come across Red Carpet Reserved!!! To say that they saved our butts would be an understatement. The photo booth is a big hit at our conferences so we didn't want to drop the ball now! RCR delivered 100% , our attendees said that the photo booth experience was incredible this year! So it looks like we have a new photo booth company!! I highly recommend you give this company a try for both large and small scale events!

We were doing a family reunion, and there was no chance of doing this over, or fixing something if it went wrong. I spoke with the owners of Red Carpet Reserved by phone, and they answered all of my questions and put my nerves at ease. I have booked a photo booth before, twice for work, and attempted to find the previous company, only to find out that they were out of business. My experiences in the past with photo booths had been hit or miss, so I was in for quite a treat when the day of the event, the RCR guys showed up almost 2 hours early, to help setup, unload, and make sure everything went smoothly. We booked their LED Party Booth, and it was awesome! The owner personally invited me in to take the first photos, and I was blown away with the whole experience. Words don't do this justice, but the best way to describe this is you know something works well when it looks, feels, and runs as simply as possible. We walked inside the inflatable booth (at this point strobing with lights), to encounter a sleek white stand, that looked like a piece of fancy automotive equipment, straight from a german car dealership. The booth itself was incredibly simple to use. Walk in, press the screen, and pose for your shots! That's it. By the time we walked out 2 prints were waiting for us, in REALLY good quality. This reminded me of the old photo booths I frequented as a kid at the movie theater arcades. Our guests were impressed with the props, and the service from the booth attendants as well. They volunteered to print extra copies of as many photos as we asked, and helped get people in the mood to take pictures, for those that were camera shy. They brought a full table of props, masks, signs, it was awesome. I was really impressed by the quality of the props. Prior to booking them, we considered going to the dollar store to buy our own, and the owner candidly convinced us otherwise prior to the event, guaranteeing us that we wouldn't need to spend our own money on props. Im glad he did that, as we truly were impressed. We never felt rushed or hounded during the event, as we were able to book and pay online, in advance, including receiving a completed contract by email. It was nice to find a company that was in touch with the modern world. They even allowed us to split the balance of the reservation into 4 payments, with no added charges. I would book them again, and recommend them for anyone looking for a photo booth for your upcoming family reunion, and will definitely consider them if and when I do end up getting married as well!

Why hire a DJ when you can get a super-talented one-man-band!?!…read more You had better believe it - Rick C. definitely ROCKS! My husband and I had seen Rick perform at 336 Main in Plymouth a few years back and decided we wanted to hire him when we got married. Wow - were we not disappointed! If you think he sounds good in a noisy bar - just wait until you hear him in a quieter space...an outdoor wedding reception tent perhaps? Amazing! Like I said before - this guy is definitely super, super talented and really knows how to work a crowd. Rick was the life of our reception and made the entire evening a smash success. Nothing phased him - from singing the last part of our first dance together a capella due to a popcorn machine temporarily blowing a fuse -to- masterfully taking requests from the crowd (including knowing how to handle requests from young girls asking for him to play Justin Bieber songs) -to- playing multiple instruments at one time and even dancing a final dance with our guests. We'd hire him in a heartbeat for any future event...and our friends and family can't stop talking about him. He was even so masterful with his mixing that some people thought he never took a break the entire night. Thanks so much Rick - you're pretty darn awesome :) BTW...we've also heard good things about Rick's band - Ultraviolet - if you're looking to spend a little more money and hire a full band to really impress your guests. Our event only had around 100 people so we decided the band might have been a little too overpowering for our venue.

Highly recommend! Easy to work with busy schedule! Would hire again over others in the local area!read more
