I took over a business that was using them for trash/recycling pick up. They were charging more…read morethan 2x what other quality companies charge. The most frustrating thing was that they made it difficult to cancel- more than 4 calls where no one that I was connected to could cancel the service- I was given the run around treatment. Finally able to have someone call me back to cancel service around Nov. 11. Then charged for service up to 1/31 per contract given to previous business owner. More than 60d required to cancel service seems like a money grab. Charged for dumpster removal (guess that's standard). Would not recommend. WM has been great.

When I started shopping around this year I found out they are $216.44 more PER quarter than another service who is not getting one star reviews. 180.37% higher cost for 1 star service!!! When I called to cancel, they asked me why and I told them, to which they replied "we can look at lowering your rates". So, they are comfortable price gouging customers until they call in and cancel? Why would I do business with a company who does this? We cancelled, and have been told multiple times that the cans would be picked up, and yet they are still here. So, the combination of price gouging and lying to customers should make one star reviews come as no surprise to them.

I thought of getting a wood chipper, a handyman, or someone who would get this pile of tree stuff off my lawn. So, someone suggested a "junk removal" company. I looked on Google and Yelp, and after calling several (remember, it's Sunday night), I liked the reviews for JP Junk Removal, and I called. His phone message said to text him a photo of what needs to be removed, with the address, and I did. SEVEN MINUTES LATER on a Sunday night, I got a text back about his availability! INSTEAD, he surprised me by driving by the next day morning, and I had a price! (The OTHER junk removal places were still waiting to call me.) I said that I'd be at my house at noon, and the OWNER, Jim, was there at 12:10..! In fifteen minutes, he was done, paid, and I was a happy guy when I looked at my lawn and -- no pile of tree limbs and leaves! So, I said I would do a good review for him, and here it is. Highly recommended, and I called a friend who also has a pile of trees on his lawn and gave him JP Junk's number.

They explained that they take very little to an actual dump and explained how my bike and my dryer and other things would be recycled. This made me very happy!!! Highly recommend them!

The contractor(s) from New Image Restoration removed and disposed of approx. 2' x 4' x 2' x 4' of the ceiling (sheetrock) that exhibited signs of mold, treated the exposed wood with a mold and mildew killer, identified the source of a leak, and recommended that I hire a plumber. I found the quality of the work to be satisfactory however, the identification of the leak was inaccurate, as no pipes were found to be leaking. The contractors were courteous and presented identification upon request before entering my home. Nevertheless, I consider the cost of the work particularly expensive for seniors given that it represents only (1) component of a (3) part job. Additionally, I was asked to sign a blank contract that stipulated a 50% charge, the cost was not explicitly detailed in the agreement. I had to inquire further to clarify this matter. Despite the fact that New Image Restoration was aware of my insurance company's $500 deductible, I was required to pay (2) both payments of $500 plus. Moreover, I began to receive multiple invoices totaling over $1,500 for services such as drywall repair, patchwork, priming, and painting, which were not performed by New Image Restoration or Super Steamer Carpet. It was also concerning to discover that New Image Restoration billed me through a subcontractor, Super Steamer Carpet, without prior notification regarding the involvement of subcontractors. Ultimately, I found it necessary to hire multiple contractors to complete the work on the ceiling mold issue. This experience has underscored the importance of inquiring about the entire scope of a project, including a comprehensive written description and a complete estimation of costs, accounting for any deductions.
