I was so disappointed by a "Pumpkin Farm" we took The Kid to last fall. Not only did you have to…read morepay $5 to ride the tractor about 20 feet, but there were Sku stickers on the "field pumpkins". Which were in what was clearly a corn field. Now, I'm a dedicated urban/suburbanite. I've got a pronounced phobia of camping, and don't know the first thing about large scale farming, but even I can tell a corn stalk from a pumpkin vine. Maybe its because I've been spoiled by Penn Vermont. A truly remarkable family run farm with amazing produce. And the propriaters could not be more friendly. The whole family are just delightful. My family has been going here for the past 10 years. They still let my dad come oogle the cider press (its an antique) and he's been known to drink it straight from the gallon in the backseat of the car. Great selection of local produce at reasonable prices. And not a Sku in sight! They get lots of business in the fall for pumpkins and apples. The hayrides to the pumpkin field are free and feature cows, a free apple for munching, and some amazing views of rural Bucks County. But don't forget about them in the summer either! They have a great selection of warm weather fruits and veggies. I'm putting them with "garden" because this is where I go when something doesn't quite work out but I want tasty and local . Even master gardeners need a fail safe plan. Cash only. And drive safe up the one lane driveway.

They have a good range of options available in good seasons: apples, blueberries, flowers, etc. They also have a good prices in their store, where they have a small amount of produce and food goods. I like a farm that keeps their stock simple like this-- not a lot of random more tourist-y items but just the food and products from it. There's a lot of room for picking here, but not a lot of shade on directly sunlit day like today. That being said, it was still a good time going in and out of the rows and we were able to get a decent amount of fruit with us. Price per lb. was more than great too! I'd definitely love to visit again-- 1-1.5 hours is sufficient for this location!
