In our first interaction more than a year ago we went in shopping for a mattress to put on a child's bunk bed. We were looking for a comfortable, affordable mattress. They didn't try to sell something we couldn't afford, instead we were directed to exactly what we needed. As a result we have returned twice more. The prices were fair, in one case he even found extra savings for us in the form of a manufacturer deal that arrived in the mail while we were there looking around. They let us purchase a mattress, then return it when it wasn't quite the right one for us a couple weeks later, then helped us purchase the perfect mattress. We have been sleeping great ever since! We also purchased a sturdy bed frame, bunk bed foundations and all for great prices. They also offer a more affordable, higher quality mattress protector than we have seen elsewhere. It is nice to visit with someone who knows their products and can offer helpful advice. They have treated us very well as customers and we will be back again.

He took me to the beds with the medium firmness and with the head/leg tilt as the base. I tried the firm one and then the medium one. The manager Gordon was sitting nearby at his desk, and let me know that the softer of the two beds would be better, since I am a side sleeper. Evan provided a quote for both king and queen size beds, plus gave me a couple discounts reducing the price. Two pillows, free delivery, free set up, and free take away for old bed were all included. After comparing prices at a couple other places, pricing on the bed I was looking for was comparable, but Even saved me an additional $1000 without trying to sell me something I did not want. When I went back to purchase the bed, Gordon was there to help. He took the time to explain that HSA/FSA dollars could be used to reimburse some of the cost of the bed, since the bed is needed for medical reasons. Otherwise, we would have not known about this option. We bought the bed and returned the next day to pick up the sheet set, since Gordon offered a discount for those on the phone. When we went in, he gave us even more of a discount, which was nice, so I purchased two sets. Gordon is very knowledgeable on sleep postures and the beds in his store. What's not tolerable is the giant piece of metal that somehow found its way poking out of the side of the mattress that I found with my leg. The mattress isn't even 6 years old, we've only had it 4 or 5 I think (it sat in a warehouse from the "made date on the tag) So mattress mania has gone out of. Haines and woudlnt release any warranty paperwork to us, and these people won't reply or help either- event hough their mattress is defective. Looking at another reviewer it seems I won't be getting any help either. So- buy your mattress here with caution. If I hear back and they decide to do the right thing and honor their warranty, for a mattress that has metal poking out the side enough to stab me as I get into and out bed I'll update my review. Update 1- I was finally able to call, and the rep (Noelle?) was very nice. She seemed concerned with where I sent the email, and when I advised it was the website, she was concerned the form might not be working. She immediately offered three ways to send a warranty claim form, and gave clear instructions on what they need from me. I updated stars based on her- I'm still not pleased with the mattress issues, but Based on my interaction with her, I am hopeful they will resolve the issue.
