Walked into this store for the first time, been driving by it for close to 20 years. I had just spent the whole morning at other furniture and mattress stores in search of a twin bed for my guest room. Many places could only do custom as twin is so small for places that mainly only sell queen and king beds. I was not looking to spend thousands either. I walked in and was greeted by Luis Vega. I told him what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend. It was so easy and he knew all his stock. I left in under 20 minutes with the bed frame and mattress in my car. I spent under $400 and it is exactly what I needed. The bed frame was super easy to assemble and I had that done in 5 minutes. After unfurling the mattress I made up the bed and its ready to go. Worst decision of my life buying from this place. They are tricky, sneaky salesmen. Don't get sucked into the 120 days "risk" free stuff. We bought a new bed - mattress and adjustable frame for better sleep, better quality of life, right? We hate, HATE the bed. The adjustable frame is crap, makes noise is really ugly and looks and feels cheap. (The one in the store isn't the one they delivered) But they don't take those frames back, period. So we're STUCK with it. No matter what, stuck with that base. The mattress actually hurts me. I can't sleep in the bed. We can take it back for a fee and exchange for a mattress that is the same or MORE money. I don't want that mattress brand. But it's expensive so I'm stuck with it. Literally sleeping in the guest room, while I now have payments on a thing I hate. Can't use, hate. And the salesmen seem very uncaring now, after the fact. They made their sale and that's all they care about. What they told us in the store is a VERY different story than what's real. I'm really sad. Sleeping in the guest room with a sore back from my new bed. Not the better quality of life I was hoping for. Don't trust the 120 day spiel, it's a lie. read more

I needed a new bed - imagine that?! Sonny started showing me some premium beds, and I shared my budget with him (substantially below the price point we were looking at), and he didn't even flinch. No pressure, no judgement, moved right over to beds in my price range. He was really knowledgeable about the different types, and when I told him what I liked, he immediately narrowed it down to 2 different beds. I didn't want to commit right then and there, so I went to two other stores in town and realized quickly that the price couldn't be beat for such a great bed. Total rip off?! I went today to buy a XL twin mattress. Salesman tells me the cheapest one they have is $279 and price goes up from there. I asked him why and rationale of pricing and he gives me a song and dance about how much more material is needed for a twin XL mattress.... i mention that it's only 6in difference... I also asked him why I could by a whole couch there for $20 more than he is asking for a XL twin mattress. Not clear answers and seems not a good place to get honest help. okay.... back story time... I had a cat.... cat got very ill.... cat had a few accidents on my pillow top queen bed. I dont care what anyone says there is no way you can clean a pillow top and get THAT all out.... I needed a new bed.... I was sleeping on my new couch(and while my new couch was comfy.... it was indeed not a bed..... no stretching out...not tossing and turning. so for a month...... I looked at different stores, was mostly unhappy with what I was finding either stock wise or price wise. I pass by this store every time I go home... so on a spur of the moment kind of thing.... I pulled in, got out and walked in. Okay it is a warehouse... beds piled up, and lots of beds on show. The sales guy let me wander a bit and I tried out several beds... he came over and asked what I was looking for... my response... a bed.... yes I am that much of a smart ass. He chuckled and said good.... because that is what we have. I explained what happened to my bed and that I might as well buy one now since well the one I have is now destroyed. I also explained tht I was going to have shoulder surgery and then an ankle reconstruction.... (I have had two shoulder surgeries and I am still awaiting the ankle) so I would be spending a lot of time in bed. He pointed out some I tested them, I tried the ones that sit up, the ones that stay flat, I tried soft ones, hard ones, medium ones.... I was feeling a little like Goldilocks. trying to find the one that was just right...... then as I was about to give up... he directed me to one more..... I laid on it.... oh my... it was soft, yet firm yet soft..... it was like a supportive cloud. I laided on it talking to him for a good 20 mins to get a feel of the bed. I decided I liked it......I HAD FOUND MY BED. it turns out it is the same ones made for the Trump Hotels..... I got fearful...... I asked...ummmm how much? I did not want my heart broken after finding my new bed. he said that normally it is close to 4000 bucks.... (okay it was 3800 but close enough) for the mattress.... meep.... yes thats right.. I actually said 'MEEP" HE LAUGHED..... he said but they were selling it for 800. I asked ummmmm... what is wrong with the bed???? He again laughed and said nothing.... it was just the last one they had and they had stored it for a month. so they wanted to get rid of it.......... ummmmmmmmm SOLD!!! I bought it right then and right there. I told him that I still had my sick kitty and that I needed something to protect it. for my kitty was either going to get better or not.... and if not then I didnt want to have to find a new bed ......again. He showed me this cover that allows the bed to breathe and yet no liquids (coffee, wine, water.....ill mannered kitties) would get thru. If I bought it at the same time as the bed and always had it on the bed.... then if anything did get thru they would either clean or replace the bed for free. ummmmmmmm SOLD. My bed was delivered a week later and they even hauled away my old bed. I have slept on my couch so long at this point I was all a twitter with my new bed. if I ever........EVER need another bed I am coming here first. My bed has a 20 year warranty. I never have to flip it or turn it around, the bed is made to never sag or anything like that. so I saved more than 3000 on my bed due to it being at the warehouse. *insert little happy dance here* I have had no issues with my bed and even though my little kitty did not make it to the arrival of my new bed.... my boyfriend has a dog..... a tiny dog..... who likes to cuddle with my feet in bed. One unfortunate time he may have an accident. guess what...... THE COVER WORKS!!! I removed the dog, (okay it was my own damn fault for not waking up when the doggie was telling me he needed to wake me up....but I am not used to a dog yet lol.....whoops) I stripped the cover off and threw it into the wash. Grabbed the other cover I had (yes I bought two just in case there was a need to wash one) and before I put it on.... I inspected the bed.....there was nothing.....I got up my nerve and did a "sniff" test.... again nothing.... well..... I'll be...... the damn thing actually worked.... *insert another happy dance* yay!!!! happy happy happy. oh and I now wake up when the tiny pooch says he needs to go... lol. Yesterday I randomly stop by BedMart to inquire about purchasing my first mattress. I had no intentions of making a commitment that day. I was greeted immediately by the the friendly and professional sales associate name JAKE who showed me a number of mattresses that fit my both my needs and most importantly my price range. I was educated on the differences on my top choices, because they all looked like white rectangles to me. He then let my know of financing options that would allow me to get better quality mattress that I could pay off over a 12 month time period. Long story short, JAKE HIGDON offered a premium shopping experience and price that I felt I wouldn't receive anywhere else, so I made the commitment that night. OK, I have put off getting a new mattress for months because of the 'used car lot' mentality most mattress stores adhere to. The saleman hovers over you and tries contantly to up-sell you to something more expensive despite your stated budget. That is the experience I have had before especially with Sleep Country, one of the worst in my opinion. My experience with Sonny at Bedmart was excellent from the moment I walked in. I told Sonny my budget and my desire to have a very firm bed that would put up with my 240 lbs (Pure muscle of course!) Sonny steered me to 4 models. One was out of my price range, 3 were not. After about 20 minutes I made my selection and my purchase. I wish the delivery date was not nearly a week out though. I highly recommend this place. I wish now that I had not put off for so long purchasing a new mattress. read more

Ask for Jake - he helped us out and within minutes my husband was sold. We just moved from the SF Bay Area, having chucked our old mattress since it was on its last legs anyway. Day 2 in OR, we were going to run out of hotel budget soon, so needed a new bed for the apartment pronto. Jake helped us out. He didn't waste our time with mattresses that couldn't be delivered the next day, but did take time to have us try several versions. I would have preferred a selection of 100% natural latex mattresses, but I wasn't in a position to be picky. We got what I think is a very good price for a mattress we're enjoying, it was delivered the next day as promised, and Jake was very pleasant to work with. I don't hesitate to recommend them. The one thing I'm not sure about is they upsell their special mattress cover, which if you buy at the same time as the mattress, gives you warranty...we did it, but I'm pretty sure that's just a sales ploy and we were duped. Prior to moving to Beaverton, I contact this location and spoke with Becky. I was worried about getting same day delivery on a mattress. She was so nice and incredibly helpful. When I arrived to the location in person, its like the entire store was expecting me. I got to meet Becky and she was great! She introduced me to Jake and he helped me get the right mattress at a great price and helped my husband and I settle on a couch. With Jorge's muscle, I had a couch and a bed in my new apartment and it started to feel like home. After a morning or not getting anything done, this group of three made moving so easy. But of course you go in, find amazing prices, and lay on every bed possible. We bought our sons bed, found one we loved for us. But wasn't sure we could get both at the time. Went to Bed Marts outlet store on 142nd Ave behind Beaverton Toyota, on Memorial Day 2012, Abel was the salesman that "helped" us. We were looking to replace a 6 year old pillow top that had failed on us. Abel showed us some great deals on "as-is" mattresses, last years models, discontinued, etc., and we decided on a Serta firm mattress (believe me when I say Serta is not a Perfect Sleeper) hoping to help my wife's back problems, and get her a better nights sleep. The mattress was delivered and set up, we woke up not getting a great nights sleep, but decided to give it a few more nights and see how it worked out. Well, it didn't get any better, I called Abel and even tho it was an as-is mattress, Abel said he would work with us to get us a mattress that worked, and when another firm as-is mattress came in he would call us. 3 weeks went by and no call, so I went in to Bed Mart, and Abel said they only had 1 right now that might suit our needs, but it didn't feel great so we declined. Again Abel said he would call us, 1 month goes by, and I call Abel he says nothing has come thru their store, but he will call us. 2 months go by and no call, so we have figured out that they got our money for an as-is mattress and that is that, and Abel's word that he will work with us, is worthless. 1 year later, again on Memorial Day 2013, we purchased a mattress from Mattress World, and having learned a expensive lesson from Abel we did not buy a as-is mattress. We did get a 101 night sleep return, so we know if their are any problems with this mattress they will be taken care of. Also wanted to say we did not purchase a cheap as-is mattress from Abel, it was only a few hundred less $ than the Stearns and Foster we bought at Mattress World, and this mattress is soooo much better and so far the experience at Mattress World was much better.
