Wish I could leave zero stars, because 1 is too many! Run, don't walk away from this dentist. Luckily I was able to walk out of there with them only getting 7.00 of my money for an oral cancer screening, and my husband later told me I could have done that service for free elsewhere. They had me show up 15 minutes before my appointment so I could fill out the very EXTENSIVE questionnaire online. They did X-rays and I didn't need X-rays because I had them done 6 months ago at a previous dentist's office and they said they have to do X-rays on new patients no matter what, and they do them every six months or twice a year, however I did the research, you should only get dental X-rays once a year due to over exposure possibilities. They took a 3D picture of my skull, and it felt like i was getting some type of cat scan or something, it was scary and they did not even give me the choice to opt out of all this. Who does all this crap just for a routine cleaning!?! Then they put me in a room while the dental hygienist and her assistant came and said they had to measure each and every part of my gums and teeth, and that took about 20 minutes! She finally finished and then proceeded to talk to me about how much bacteria I had in my mouth, I was way in the "red" and I would need a deep laser cleaning because a regular cleaning would not do the job. Newsflash: Every human has bacteria in their mouth especially first thing in the morning. Every human always has a certain amount of bacteria in their mouth at all times. Go back to high school biology 101 to learn about that. She then proceeded to talk to me about periodontal disease and that it was very prominent. What does that have to do with me? Then the dentist finally came in and he had ABSOLUTELY NO PERSONALITY OR BEDSIDE MANNER AT ALL. His was like a cold fish outta water! He started to tell me that when I had my wisdom teeth removed over 40 years ago they left a piece of metal in my mouth that was visible on his 3D scan of my skull. Then he asked if I smoked cigars, pipes, or vaped? He said the scan was very concerning, and he'd never seen anything like it and said I needed oral surgery, meanwhile I told him absolutely nothing was wrong or unhealthy about my mouth, and all I wanted was a simple cleaning. Then he told me I had cavities which I doubt highly with my current hygiene schedule I practice daily. I never had a single cavity until I was well over 50 years old, and now I'm 63! What was he talking about!?! After all this time someone from the front desk came in and said he's the "coordinator"...'who is this?' I thought, am I trying to buy a used car or something, and this is the finance dept. guy?' I felt like I was at some scam of a dentist place! What was happening to me? Is this place for real?' The so called coordinator dude then proceeds to tell me how much my fees were going to be because of all the so called "adjuncts" they would have to add. He told me I would need to pay $238.00 out of pocket, but future cleanings would need lasers and deep cleaning, and I looked at him and said, 'Sorry dude, thanks, but no thanks. I'm out.' There's no way I would ever set foot near that scam of place ever again, and you shouldn't either. I can't get that 3 hours of my life back either! SAVE YOURSELVES DON'T GO! DON'T GO! DON'T GO! I'm begging you, and one more time for the people in the back - DO NOT GO! read more
