In the grand scheme of the purchase, I wasn't rushed at all. I was able to Google the mattress to ensure that I was actually getting a good price and not getting fooled. I nap-tested a few of them before deciding. In the end, I also purchased a memory foam side-sleeper pillow and a waterproof mattress cover, the latter of which the salespeople recommend purchasing for the warranty's sake. As for delivery, mine was a breeze. They were understanding of my schedule and brought it in on a Friday night after I got home from work. I made sure to check the tags to confirm that I had the right items. They also disposed of the old mattress and box spring, so that was nice. The mattress and I have been together for a few weeks now, and I am happy!

Ed Curcio, the manager, put me on their sensor machine, which is like a mattress but it measures all your pressure points while showing you a little video, and then spits out recommendations of mattresses with the right level of support. I spent time laying on just those mattresses, which were all up and down the price range, and bought the one that actually had me drifting off to sleep right in the store. After explaining all the different coil technologies and spending like an hour patiently watching me fall asleep and even giving me feedback on how straight (posturally aligned) I looked on the different mattresses, Ed gave me a great deal on the mattress I picked out, threw in the box spring for free, and gave me the frame at cost. But the excellent customer service didn't stop there. I was in a hurry to get it delivered, but I had left my phone at my sister's house, several states away. Ed actually had the delivery people call his own cell phone at 7:00 this morning, before the store was even open, and relayed the delivery time to me by email! Now that is above and beyond! It's less than 24 hours since I decided I had to finally face the dreaded task of mattress shopping, and I am in possession of a fabulous new bed that I really think I am going to enjoy for years. And if I don't love it, they have a very reasonable exchange policy, and will put me in a different mattress for about a $200 fee (mainly for delivery and removal of the used mattress). I could not be happier with the whole experience, and highly recommend going to see Ed Curcio at Mattress Warehouse. He's a super nice, very well informed, low-key salesman who will listen to your needs and guide you to the right bed for you. He took all the hit-or-miss guessing out of this important purchase.

I wanted people to know how friendly everyone was and how helpful the entire staff was. As a chiropractor I will be recommending purple to my patients, friends, and family. I even left with samples. I love how the material is firm yet soft and cooling. I love how the pillows are not one size fits all and can be swapped out for different sizes. I am a huge proponent for restful sleep. Sleeping can be 8 hours of therapy or 8 hours of torture. Finding the right combination of soft/support and leg/back position (I believe we should not be sleeping flat) is difficult for a lot people. I really hate walking around stores, browsing, and shopping, so I try to find things online when I can. When I arrived at the store, I met Eric and he was very nice and friendly. I showed him my list, and he walked me around the store to see the pieces that I was looking for. For the ones on my list that weren't physically present in the store, he showed me something comparable to give me an idea of the height, feel, comfort, texture, etc. I was able to narrow down my list and make a selection in a short amount of time. Eric was very helpful. I told him my budget and we stayed within my budget. I ordered a very nice bed, dining table set, rug, and some accents that weren't physically in the store -- However, I made my decision based on Eric's descriptions, and him showing me comparable pieces. While placing the order, he checked their inventory on the computer and gave me a timeline for when my furniture would come in. I received a call in less than two weeks that my furniture had arrived at the Philadelphia warehouse. We scheduled a delivery date, and the delivery guys (Will and Jose) showed up promptly and set up my furniture very nicely. They were personable and friendly.
