Not only was that disrespectful and offensive, it was also completely false. I've never felt so disrespected while shopping. I expected a higher level of professionalism and basic courtesy, especially from a store that prides itself on customer service. While the recliners all still are functional, I was shocked that within 2 years the very thin leather started to peel at seams and badly discolor in any part of them contacted in normal use. This was a $3,500 combo that I expected decades of life from. Had I known the leather was literally paper-thin I would have kept looking. I'll need to soon recover this set or buy new, and both are terribly costly. This is just inferior quality. By the way, I weigh 140 pounds. Can't imagine how bad the wear would show for larger folks.
