Always a great experience here! I currently have my checking, savings, and a car loan through them…read moreand have been using them since I was old enough to open an account. This is the location closest to me now and I go a few times a year. They were able to refinance my car loan with lower interest rates without me even having to ask. I came in for a different issue and they offered the switch- it was super easy to implement and I loved how proactive they were. Most recently, I had some cash on me and wanted to put it into my account. This is a cashless facility, but they were able to give me the guidelines on how to do it (no more than 30 bills, wait 2 hours for processing) and it was super easy. The ATM at their door is awesome- super new, clean, and tons you can do on it. I always walk into this bank knowing I will have a great experience.

I normally have positive experiences in Capital One Cafes (I love love love the Seattle location!)…read morebut this one left a very poor impression. The location is decent - right in the heart of Bellevue near Bellevue Square / Lincoln Square, so it makes sense this cafe is also busy. Also, I went here Monday for the free coffee for the MLB Mondays so I expected a bit of a wait. But I did not expect a 1 hour wait at 7pm when they close at 9pm, and there were maybe 15 people ahead of me (unsurprisingly, in this economy, people go to great lengths, myself included, for freebies even though coffee this late at night is going to absolutely destroy my sleep) But the issue is less of the crowds. Seattle location had much more people in line, yet the baristas are pumping out drink after drink about one minute a drink. The analogy I can give is a well-oiled machine. Even in the early afternoons in Seattle, 35 people in front of me, less than 30 minutes wait. The staff here need a bit more training, to be honest. It is similarly 1-2 people working and 1 person taking the order, but somehow this location is 3x less efficient? Seating wise, this place is frankly a bit too small. I get Seattle one is large due to larger foot traffic, but Bellevue isn't a small town either. There is a second floor but like half as much seating, so even at 7pm, it was quite hard to find a clean table. I got the iced blueberry ube latte with an extra espresso shot. The drink itself was decent, but I did not taste any ube or blueberry (it was much more fragrant in the matcha one) so maybe the coffee drowned out the flavors quite significantly or they were skimping on ingredients in this location. I ended up just saving almost the entire drink for the next morning, however. I gave an extra star for the general generosity of Capital One and free coffee, but I certainly would not pay what was $10.50 for this drink at all if the quality is the same as that on a normal day.

The only downside is that most days of the week it's the only branch that's open. Umpqua has chosen to have all of their other stores on the Eastside to be closed most days of the week so if you need to do a cash transaction you will have to drive to this location which for some (like ourselves) is pretty far out of our way. I am thankful for the team at this branch though!

I was following up on a question the Bellevue branch had about a transaction I had made the day before. I tried calling the phone at the Bellevue Schwab branch but I could not connect with a person at the local branch. It seems Schwab has lost the importance of having a local branch to serve the people in the area. What could have been a simple call to a local representative ended up with me driving to the office. I don't believe it's a question of having people available because when I arrived at the local branch, three representatives were at the front desk. After finishing my business with one of the representatives, I tried calling from the lobby. I got transferred to Texas. I would ask Schwab to please pickup the phone and talk with your clients.

She is easy to look at and she speaks with a proactive approach as she wants you to understand completely what she is teaching you, and I say, teaching, because it is a form of teaching, of all the ends and outs of insurance coverage's. So she is through, as she should be..............now the other part to this insurance policy, is putting it in writing......and that is where Lindy comes in. Lindy took all of the information for my policy from Christy and than made up the policy for home, auto and umbrella, and when I looked over the policy it was readable and while reading it, lindy stood by to make sure what she wrote up was what i understood was to be the new policy that Christy and I had agreed to, and it was. The very last time I was involved with such technical data was in the military. Christy was amazing, and Lindy was heart warming......................Today was a perfect day.
