Do not do business with this individual. I was referred to her by a friend and initially completed a few paid sessions. I later paid for additional sessions that were never completed. The final session was scheduled for (02/26/2025). When I arrived I learned she had moved with no notice. I attempted to reschedule multiple times (06/17/2025 and 09/04/2025), but each time the session was canceled or rescheduled due to new excuses, including another move and travel. I formally requested a refund. There was no "no-refund" policy stated on her social media, posts or in our conversations. Communication became minimal, and I only received responses after raising concerns about scamming, followed by repeated excuses for why a refund could not be issued. As of (01/08/2026), I have received $25 of the $240 paid. I have since spoken with multiple others who report similar experiences. Due to this pattern, I am sharing this publicly so others can make informed decisions. read more

BEWARE!!! I paid Suzanne a $150 booking fee on 3/22/25 and another $125 on 5/16/25 for a "hair & makeup special" and Suzanne never followed through on the shoot. In fact she moved to a different state and didn't communicate until after. I have been trying to recover my funds for months now and will be opening a small claims case. read more

I would strongly caution anyone considering booking with Suzanne. My sister scheduled a photoshoot in May 2025, and Sammy paid $300 to reserve the session. Before the shoot date, Suzanne moved to Chicago and canceled -- but never refunded the payment. We've reached out multiple times through text and email, and she's completely ignored all attempts to resolve this. It's now been months, and despite our patience and professionalism, we've received no refund and no response. We wanted to handle this privately and respectfully, but it's clear we're being ignored. This kind of behavior is unethical and unprofessional. If you're considering booking with her, I'd recommend proceeding with caution or finding another photographer who values honesty and communication. read more

lol I wish I had looked into this photographer before booking a boudoir shoot with her.I asked to cancel and for my deposit back three weeks ago because my cat needed surgery and she said she didn't have money to refund me, and could refund me June 6. I have messaged her a few times on instagram where I can see she is active and posting. Just ignoring me. read more

DO NOT USE THIS "photographer" She has scammed Hundreds of brides out of what should have been the most amazing day with memories. She only responds when she needs to be paid. Please don't work with this terrible person who keeps changing her business name and continues to scam. read more

This "business" (and I use that word VERY lightly) is so incredibly unprofessional. From the way you are spoken to, to the product you receive, to not even receiving what you paid for. She is very rude and I will absolutely not return for further photos. After I paid 2500 for photos, I received the online copies, and only maybe 10 were something that I enjoyed. The rest (60-100) were not good at all. A photo book and a print out were also part of the package, and it has been 3+ months and I haven't received them. I've emailed multiple times with either no response, or snarky responses back. And probably the worst part, after I asked her to NOT post my photos online (because they are of my almost naked) she still did it twice. No wonder she has been sued multiple times before. read more

I Had an amazing session. Felt beautiful and so comfortable during my first shoot! highly recommend read more

I paid for a session over a year ago. We kept having to postpone, which was ok. Then, a couple days before I was finally set to get my pictures done I asked a question about client closet and the shower session I paid for. She then informs me neither is available. Had I not asked, I would have shown up and had nothing. I decided to cancel and asked for a refund. I've now been asking for almost a FULL YEAR for my money to be returned. I was even willing to do small payments, and NOTHING! She keeps using her kid as an excuse to guilt me and make me feel bad for her. After a year, she should have been able to pay me back. Absolutely ridiculous. Now she's ignoring all messages from me. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. This photographer is good at what she does, but she simply cannot run a business. She cancels and reschedules appointments with less than a day's notice, cannot keep track of the type of photo shoot you signed up for, and will never refund your money after you've decided you've had enough of her bad business practices. Very unfortunate that she has continuously done this to people- I wish I would have seen the news stories before booking with her. read more

This is an awful business and awful person running it! She's all over the news! I purchased a boudoir session and paid ahead as she asked. She promised hair and makeup at an extra charge and that she has a full clients closet. The day before the shoot I had reached out to her to make sure we were still on for the shoot. She then asked me if I could change it to an earlier time that day which I couldn't. Then she proceeded to tell me that she doesn't have the clients closet due to the fact that she had just moved and didn't get it set up yet. Something gave me weird vibes about it. I told her I would like to cancel as she promised me there would be a closet because I don't have my own stuff. She had already taken my full payment and I asked for a refund and she proceeded to tell me she doesn't have the money to pay me back. I explained to her that if I don't receive my money back that I'd take her to court. She had promised to pay me monthly and has refused to follow through! I constantly have to check in with her, even though she says I don't, because if I don't I get no payment and no sort of communication from her. When she finally responds, after about a 2-3 weeks, she has some piss pore excuse as to why she didn't answer or why she can't pay. I've at least gotten half from her and don't see getting anymore but I know from now on I'll be doing lots of research before hiring anyone! If I could give no stars to this review I would! I'll be blasting her all over the internet anywhere I can so everyone knows the SCAMMER they're about to deal with! read more

DO NOT BOOK HER - SHE WAS ALL OVER THE NEWS - SHE IS A SCAMMER WHO REBRANDS OFTEN. It's safe to assume that the good reviews are untrustworthy, last year Susie begged women in her group to douse her page in foe reviews to drown out the true negative ones. Suzanne Devil, I mean Nevill, was blasted on every single bridal group page you could think of for her poor business nature. she's extremely defensive and rude and you can absolutely spend your time and money elsewhere. I mean, look at the way she replies to reviews, is this someone you really want to risk doing business with? I'd suggest you do some googling and join some Bridal/Boudoir pages to see some honest reviews of this business and all of the other business moniker's she uses to deflect her defamations. She was reported to authorities by hundredddds of women last year for over promising and purely NOT delivering. THANK ME LATER. And while she defends herself all over this yelp page, it's worth noting that her clients weren't the only ones who reported her to authorities. Her UNPAID employees did too. She is infamous for canceling on her clients DAY OF with no notice and no option to reschedule or refund. However, she is most infamous, though, for stealing your money. She'll feed you the most RIDICULOUS lie as to why she can't make it to the shoot that day (seriously, google her, there are tons of first hand reviews on her ethicality from clients and professionals), she then begs a freelance photographer to take over her session, promising she'll pay them in a week when her cat is out of the hospital, or in a few days when her broken leg heals, or after she gets back from the ER cause she was ironically bitten by a flying Komodo Dragon on her way to the studio. ONLY TO NOT PAY HER FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER THEIR DUES, which leaves both the photographer and client unfulfilled. And here's why: the photographer holds on to the photos until they're paid by suzanne / however, the client already paid suzanne in full months prior. so now what was suzanne's problem on your shoot day, is now directly yours. It's as if you're working with an entirely new business instead of an extension of her business when she sources out freelancers. it doesn't matter that you paid in full already, this photographer didn't get a dime for their time yet from suzanne so they will NOT release their work for "free" to you. so WHERE ARE MY PICTURES SUZANNE?! WHERES MY REFUND?! Why are you stealing from people?! She filed bankruptcy because "she couldn't keep up with payments," and "got behind on scheduling" and that sounds like a sorry ass excuse to me. She had ample opportunity to make things right with her associates and clients and chose to ignore them self-righteously. even in the highest water, suzanne continued to rebrand and take money from people. when the articles started surfacing, she rebranded. when women started speaking out, she started making threats on her facebook. when she had the chance to say "sorry, im so booked out and i'm unable to accept new clients at this time," she instead ran "deals" for new clients to continue stealing peoples money without any intention of fulfilling her commitments. She knew what she was doing, she just didn't think she'd get caught. WELL YOURE CAUGHT HONEY. DO NOT BOOK HER. No refunds, no reschedules, no communication, no correspondence once you pay her. she steals your money and wastes your time. DO NOTTTTT BOOOOK HERRRRRR. read more

I can't even believe she is still running a business. She should be taken down with a class action law suit. I paid her to do a maternity boudoir shoot. Set the date, she said her kids were sick, being 34 weeks pregnant with two other kids at home I asked to reschedule. She never responded to my messages to reschedule, and when I asked for a refund she ghosted me for over a month and a half. It was at this point the news started to break about her scamming other clients and photographers. DO NOT HIRE HER!!! SHE IS A SCAM ARTIST!!!!!!! read more

She constantly cancels. I finally got 1 shoot out of multiple purchased and My boudoir photos weren't great. She took forever to get them to me. Way past when she promised them to me. Then trying to be refunded for shoots she cancelled over and over again was a nightmare. There are sooo many people who have been scammed by this lady. Buyer beware. Her prices look to good to be true because they are. read more

I unfortunately joined her business Facebook Page and purchased 2 sessions. Communication is great until you pay your deposit and then....crickets. it is almost impossible to schedule with her. If you are able to schedule chances are she will cancel on you last minute. Please Google her and/or check our her reviews on Yelp and BBB under Suzanne Nevill Photography. You will find several others that have had either the same or similar experiences. read more

Every time I have done a photo shoot with Suzanne, I am blown away by the results. She is so comfortable to work with as well. The images I receive back are of the some of the highest quality for sultry and elegant boudoir. It is obvious she understands mood, setting, natural light, and is friends with her camera. I recommend her to friends for not only boudoir, but portrait work as well. You will not be disappointed. I promise you that. read more

Suzanne is only responsive when you are talking about money. She cancels frequently and when you are scheduled she will give you one time and then have a different time on the confirmation. I have had boudoir done before and it was the most amazing experience! Suzanne is unorganized and the shoot feels so rushed. She owes me money and has given excuse after excuse but complains a out not loving boudoir anymore on her Facebook page. Life's exhausting when all you do is scam people. read more

I finally booked the sessions I have sat on for a few years. I had a great experience. It was a lot of fun and the photos turned out great! Both Suzanne and Nyriah made me feel comfortable and I left feeling so confident! I cannot wait to shoot again in August! read more

Such a scammer. I had already a paid for a wedding and boudoir shot with Suzi when I realized she was facing bankruptcy, law suits and was scamming people all over the place. I tried to salvage what I could. I was flexible compassion and tried to just get something for all the money I spent. Suzi cancelled shot after shot. She finally offered to refund 1/4th of my money on payments. Then removed me from her groups and has ignored me sense. I won't trust her with anything. She is just very self centered and has no conscience. read more

Buyer beware! She scams, takes money, sends associate photographers, doesn't pay them, and you don't get your photos!!

I bought a special milestones package from Suzanne for maternity, newborn, four month, six month, nine month and a year - I know, amazing. The price was great but the pictures!!!!! Omg she's so INCREDIBLE! my husband's into photography and extremely critical of photos and he was blown away. She's so talented and babies are so her thing. She just lights up when she sees them. She's also so super fast and makes you feel comfortable with posing. The talent is unreal And despite any negative reviews I've read, I think Suzanne has been amazing and I'm so lucky to have found her. read more

I've read the bad reviews and articles about Suzanne but I've worked with her for the last 3 years, all during Covid, and she has been extremely accommodating. She gave us a great price and made our wedding and engagement photos beautiful! She got photos turned around within the normal amount of time. I'm not sure if she does many weddings anymore but she was great for mine. read more
