I had an extremely disappointing experience with Lifestyle Floors and Design and their (only…read morehardwood) subcontractor. Despite multiple assurances, the project was plagued with delays, unprofessional behavior, and unfinished work. Issues: Subcontractor was consistently (I should say always) late, missed multiple workdays, and provided numerous excuses and personal errands Work was left incomplete, and the quality of the work done was subpar. Also, attempts to resolve the issues with the co-owners, Laura and Donny Coram (this place switched owners sometime in October of last year), were met with excuses about the business being bankrupt or having no money. They claimed that a $2000 refund for unfinished (they ask you to pay in full) work was nearly impossible. Donny suggested asking to get funds from an insurance claim insurance or shorting employees to recoup the money, showing incredible hesitation to work with me on a simple refund. They insisted on keeping the same individual despite his incompetence while not being able to hire anyone else (or not wanting to). Lifestyle Flooring failed to deliver on their promises, causing financial loss. I strongly advise against using their services due to their poor management and lack of accountability.

I called City Glass just after 4:30 pm and was told that they wouldn't make an appointment and to call back the next day because they closed at 5 pm. Day 2: I called back in the morning and they took my information down. I was told that they'd contact me to make the appointment. I was contacted at 4:15 pm and was told that the next available appointment to get an ESTIMATE was over a week away. I am so glad that your business is booming enough that it will take over a week to get an estimate. I will be using another glass company for this job. Thank you for helping us (through the amazing Wade) find a new sweep for our shower door, because ... where else do you find that? Lowe's did not have one and we couldn't find someone there to help us. You are wonderful! Thank you!

VERY Disappointed in City Glass. I have done business in the past but this time was a HUGE…read moredisappointment. First I took an example glass in to be recreated and was told it was 1/4 inch thick. When I heard the price I shopped around and found another company charging 1/2 the price so I ordered it from them. Upon arrival I noticed the glass was thicker. I took the example back to get the corners notched and when I questioned the thickness I was told it was in fact. 3/16 inch glass NOT 1/4 inch glass even after they measured it the first time. Then the glass technician came out and looked at my job to notch the front 2 corners of 3 pieces by 7/8 inch and quoted me $10 per square cut for a total of $60 since I had 3 pieces of glass. I agreed to this cost and paid in full for the job. Approx. and hour and a half later I received a call from City Glass and they told me the job was a little harder and more than they expected so they were going to have to charge a little more for the job. They then stated $55 per cut and proceed to talk to me like I would accept it with no questions asked. I immediately said "NO". I can buy new glass for this price. This would be a price increase from $60 to $330. I was then told I could come get my glass and a refund. I feel this was EXTREMELY poor customer service and bad representation. I was quoted a price and finalized the cost. They saw the project. They SHOULD have honored THEIR agreement but didn't and just told me to come get the glass. BAD!!! I will NEVER do business here again. This was a rip off because they made a mistake they felt I should pay for it. I have further pictures to prove my claim and show the small job requested. I WON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!!!

Timeline you can expect for this business: 1) The process…read morebegins! They won't schedule someone to come out to measure until your cabinets are completely installed. 2) The person who comes out to measure is an independent contractor and it may take a week or two for them to get here. If you get lucky like me, less than a week. 3) After they've received their measurements from their independent contractor, then Tops in Countertops will take official payment from your third party, i.e. Lowes or Cabinets to Go. This process generally takes an additional day or two for some reason? It took three full days between the guy coming out for measurements and them to get my additional $. 4) Once they've received their money they will place an order on their truck list. (The caveat being this only happens once a week on Wednesdays!?!) I still haven't been able to get a concrete answer on why they can only place orders on a truck rather than a Computer and what makes Wednesday more special than The other 4 business days of the week? Maybe they use stone tablets and abacus' on Holy Wednesday rather than 21st century means of electronic communication. 5) After an undetermined amount of time they will get the material they ordered back from the vendor. Pro tip, ask for an update after a few weeks because they darn well won't do you the courtesy of giving you one unless you ask. 6) 'Slabsmithing/Eyeballing' begins *Add one week 7) Additional cuts/other work. 8) Someone will reach out to schedule an install date. -This whole process took exactly six weeks for me. Six weeks without a kitchen waiting on countertops before I could do anything else with my remodel. I was quoted 2-3. At this point I'm pleasantly surprised it wasn't 8+. *I gave three stars because I am very happy with the contractors who showed up to measure and install, as well as the quality of the material. *I gave three stars because I think a telemarketing firm based out of India with a language barrier could have provided better courtesy and customer service. Even pretending to give a crap about being inconvenienced for 6 weeks instead of the projected 2-3 would have been nice.

Just an addendum to my previous review along with more pictures. Although when they measured for…read morethe installation the faucet was on site and they measured with that in mind, they cut the hole too small and crookedly so even if the top of the hole was large enough - which it isn't- it is slanted so a faucet couldn't go down it anyway! Unbelievable! The hole won't fit a standard sized faucet!

We also had a second driveway, apron and curb installed (along with replacing the associated sidewalk). From the very first meeting with Garrett, everyone at Flat and Fancy has been professional in all aspects. Garrett was very clear on our options and worked with the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department to get all the required permits in place. The crew performing the actual work was friendly, professional and kept us informed when the city dictated changes to the approved plans. They worked with the inspector to minimize the impact of those changes. The concrete work is better quality than what I've seen on a work related project where we're paying millions.... I won't mention that company by name but Flat and Fancy far outshined that work. The finished product is very nice and is exactly (less the city dictated changes...) what we needed for our home. I'll get some pictures up so you can see but we definitely recommend them.

The price was really reasonable, in comparison to both Lowe's and Home Depot (and the selection was a lot better). We got a call the day before our installation, to confirm the job and Eric arrived at 8:15 the next morning. He was actually early!! Eric did a really wonderful job -- our house is old, old and the vinyl was going over very old linoleum (horrid old stuff!!) Our kitchen floor was completely done by about 11:00. IT IS BEAUTIFUL!! As far as I'm concerned, the service is great! Our carpet is lovely and we're very pleased and will absolutely recommend.

I had never heard of them, but I am sure glad they were mentioned to me! This is one of the discount carpet places that sells discontinued carpeting and it is so worth it! After visiting several different places and not being able to find anything even close to my existing carpet color, I walked in and was helped by Kay. She very quickly helped me find a similar color and quality product for my basement. she definitely knows her stuff! Not only that, but it was such a reasonable price! I think the only minimal downside was the carpet installers and their slight carelessness in getting the carpet into the basement. After forcing down a couple chunks of carpet where they scratched up the banisters and the front door they started folding it differently so that they could get it down easier in subsequent trips, but I would not say that they were extremely careful. One of the trips where one of the guys was trying to carry it down and it unrolled. Instead of going back up the stairs, re-rolling it and making it down without incident, instead they forced the carpet down the stairs. Not horrible, but not excellent either. For this I knock off a star. Dealing with everyone here was very easy, professional and there were no complications at all. Need carpet? I recommend this business highly! Go here first! The carpet meets my expectations and looks really nice!
