Says we are in the area but refused to pick up So its false advertising why say u will but won't read more

I called Sunday evening to reserve a ride to be picked up at 11:00 a.m. On Monday morning when 11:05 came around I called back because I had not been picked up and a gentleman said my ride would be there any moment. Well 15 minutes went by and no one showed up to pick me up. So I called back and the guy that answered the phone said that there was no reservation and and I said well. I reserved it for last night to be picked up this morning and he hung up on me. I then called back at least four to five times and no answer. He eventually answered and I did end up getting a cab but it ended up making me late for my new job. I'm in my third week and I did not want to be late at a new job or even at all I will not use this service ever again. Very bad customer service skills and attitude. read more

Only giving 1 star since i cant do 0 stars because the owner is horrible about having his employees drive vehicles that is unsafe on any road condition. I will not be using this service any more until those issues gets resolved. I have also told friends and family to boycott this service until then. I called them today and asked for a ride from beaver to beckley took two hours before they could get here then they called wanting a deposit that was never discussed prior and they wanted 38 dollars for 4 mile ride this is the worse company I've ever dealt with I don't even know how their open I wouldnt recommend anyone to use this taxi service it's absolutely pathetic read more

The car wasn't a "taxi". It was an older car with dents all over it. The driver was nice but the car smelled like cigarettes. The cost was very high for the drive. Not worth $45 for an airport drive. read more

**WARNING- VERY LONG APPRECIATION POST** Tuesday night we left for Florida around 7:30 pm. At around 11:30 pm our transmission went out about 2 miles from the Beckley, WV exit. It was raining and it was not a good spot for it to happen since there was only a 3 foot berm and then gravel that dropped off. It was also 500 feet from construction area with left lane closed so everyone was getting in right lane. So we had semis passing at 60 mph 4 feet from us We called AAA and within 20 minutes David from Glen's Towing called and said he would be there in 5 minutes. AAA had told us Because of COVID nobody could ride in the tow truck so we amazingly found Ambassador Taxi after trying Lyft, Uber, and every other taxi company number with no answer. Ambassador said they would have to send the driver back to get a big SUV since we had 7 people and could be a little while since he was on way back from dropping railroad guys off in VA. When David arrived with the tow truck, he said "I'm going to just pull up behind you with my lights on and wait for the taxi to get here. Then you guys can just jump in taxi and I will bring van to your hotel for you to get your stuff out so you're not trying to do it on side of the road." He sat behind us for an hour until Ambassador got there. While we were awaiting, the owner of Ambassador called and let me know that they had a shop and could look at the van first thing in the morning for us if we wanted to have it towed there. I also, used my Choice Hotels app and booked us rooms at the Comfort Inn in Beckley. Since it was after midnight the app booked them for the following night. So I called Comfort Inn and the front desk girl said she would get them changed no problem. Ambassador arrived and we got into the Tahoe and he took us to the hotel. I walked in and the front desk immediately handed me the key cards and pointed me to our side by side rooms so I could get the kids in bed. 5 minutes later, David from Glen's towing arrived and completely dropped the van off the roll back for us to empty all of our luggage onto the hotel carts. Once in our room around 2 am, I got on the Enterprise app and booked a minivan for pick up at 8 am when they opened. I got a call around 7:40 saying they didn't currently have any vehicles (From Austin working there I knew that was common first thing in morning) and they would call when they received some from Charleston hopefully by noon. While waiting Ambassador auto called and said what I feared, transmission completely out. I told them I didn't want to put that kind of money into it and I had already booked a rental and asked if van was in the way or if I could come with trailer in 2 weeks to get van and she said "No problem. We will just park it around back." At 10 am Enterprise called that they had a van. I called Beckley Green Cab and they were there in 10 minutes to take me to Enterprise. I walked in enterprise and was in a 2020 Caravan with only the 82 miles on it in less than 5 minutes and headed back to the hotel to continue our vacation. We left a Beckley at 11 am. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful everyone we dealt with was. Maybe it really is, Almost Heaven in West Virginia. I couldn't believe the cab company charge me $25 for a three minute ride from the airport never ever again it wasn't even a taxi.

The driver is great. But the owners or who ever does the Pricing is sketchy. $20 to go 5 miles total is crazy..

It is absolutely crazy how they ask for a form of payment as soon as you get in the car if you are black. However a white person can sit in the cab all the way until the end of the drive without being asked for a form of payment. While the car was driving he asked for card information from a black lady but never ever did that to a white woman. read more

Just got hung up on when I said I was handing the phone over to my husband because he had call this morning to set up a ride for work well the driver never showed up he was late for work and got a write all because they said the driver showed up but never did and we are all outside so we know that was a huge lie on their part. This company need to get its employees together including the ones over seas that handle the scheduling of ride before a lawsuit happens. read more

Called from work for someone else and told them this on the phone and they told us it would be 20 minutes. We had 3 people out front and no one ever showed up. After 45 minutes of noone showing up I decided to call back and noticed that I had a missed call. When I called back they said that the driver showed up here and no one was out there so they tried to call. An since no one answered the driver went on home. I told them that there have been 3 people out front since we called and that no one ever showed up. He said well they went here and called and no one answered. I preceded to tell them yes you called me but I told you it was for someone else and like I said no one ever showed up here. He just started saying they were closed now when there voice msg service said that they were open for at least another half hour. read more

What a joke! Most of the drivers are rude, and the nice ones never seem to last long. They recently started a promotion claiming if you book your ride 48 hours in advance you get a 20% discount. We booked our ride 48 hours in advance and the dispatcher, who is in Nepal by the way, said we would get a 20% discount without us even asking. Two days later, the cab never showed up and when we called we learned that the dispatcher never even wrote it down. We had to wait a while for a cab to come and we never got the discount even after explaining the situation. There has been other instances where we've called to schedule a cab and they never wrote it down as well. The dispatchers are incompetent and not even local. When we ask them to call or have the driver call when they are on their way, most of the time they ignore the request. Most of the time they are anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes late. They are the only cab company in the area and they know they can get away with this. They have no respect for the customer whatsoever. read more

They left my child and I stranded at a car garage, where I was dropping off my car, I'm the winter time. They came early and left. I was there on time, and we had to walk 3 miles home. Had no issues the first time we used them. read more

Very shady business with crooked drivers. I have used this company for a few years and spent alot of money threw them. Last few times i've used them there drivers have ripped me off. For example I was charged 3 times the amount of there normal fee for a route id take monthly. Not even a 5 minute drive went from 13$ to 35$ not counting a tip smh keep in mind the driver would complain about the person b4 me not tipping. Ive always tipped well every trip but ill keep my 50 dollars for a 30 minute walk any day. read more

I am still awaiting your email with the documents showing all of the days/times that my cousin, Melissa Durham was picked up and dropped off which as you say completely used up the $200 credit I purchased for her in 2021 since she did not have a license at that time. I think it is very strange that she remembers only taking one ride with you which costs approx $20, and then she moved to Florida which of course she could not have used your services any further, while you say she took many rides and used up the gift of $200 I gave her even though she no longer lived in WVA at that time. Please note, I will be posting our communications on all review sites. My initial requests and your subsequent responses will be posted for all to see. I hope you do the right thing and look carefuully at your documentation before accusing my cousin of completely using up $200 worth of rides prior to her moving to Florida. This is the worst service I've ever had. Our truck broke down on the side of the highway by the turnpike tool booth heading to SC from OH and we had a baby in the car. We sat in the car for 7 hours. We exhausted every option we could find. We finally were able to contact this company, in which they said they would send someone in an hour at 10:30 pm. I called back an hour later, no answer. 2 hours later, he calls back and says someone is on the way they will call me. The lady called I gave her our location. She said she was on her way. By 3am she still did not show up. Neither of them would answer. They wasted 3 hours of our time. We were finally able to get in touch with emergency and find a ride to the nearest motel. Worst experience ever. Do not do business with this company they are heartless. read more

Called them after I hit a metal object on the road and my car got towed. We were stuck in freezing weather and agreed to pay the $180 for the taxi to pick me up from the virginia/west virginia tunnel (30 mins away) and drive to winterplace ski resort. Shortly after I agreed they said let me check something and I'll call you back. They didn't call back. I called and they said they didn't have any drivers that would pick me up. I told them I guess I'll just sit out here and freeze to death and that was the end of the conversation. Thankfully my tow truck driver was a hero and drove us to winterplace ski resort, when that's not even his job. So, if you need to get somewhere, call a tow truck as they are more reliable. read more

I have had to use them a few times to catch a quick ride to work when my son uses my car for out of town..they have always been polite and on time..the fee varies tho I have noticed and I have not noticed a meter in the car. read more

They came half an hour late, the inside of the car was the most filthy thing I've ever seen, the driver smelled really badly of cigarettes, instead of taking me straight to my location he decided to pick up another person first who didn't show up so that was even more time wasted. Ultimately they made me half an hour late to my appointment. I'm lucky they still accepted me. All in all call an Uber...they have much better service. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Absolutely horrible company. In a major city this company would easily fail due to better options. Different drivers give different fares for same exact distances. The dispatchers are regularly rude. They always claim 30 min when its often an hour to hour and a half. I've had to use these guys as my main transportation to work. At first they were punctual. But now I am constantly late for work. And I don't mean by a few minutes. I mean by like 30 minutes to an hour. And one time they didn't even show picking me up from work or they're over an hour late after talking to them twice saying they'll be there in just a few minutes.
