I ordered the Tenderloin (pork loin) and it was spectacular: tender, juicy, and accompanied by an outstanding mushroom sauce full of flavor. It came with small yellow potatoes, halved and roasted, with cooked white onions, which were also very good. I paired my dish with a Tátův Sad Suchý (dry Czech cider). As someone who loves ciders I really liked this one: it has a nice dry and bitter touch. My companions ordered hamburgers (with fries or baked potatoes) and Chicken Supreme with baked potatoes. All the dishes came with different sauces, but everything had very good flavor. The food in general is well presented with generous portions, typical of traditional Czech cuisine. The place is cozy, with an authentic atmosphere and a varied menu of classic dishes. A great choice if you want to try local food in Malá Strana. Highly recommended.

Its location is a bit unbeknownst being between the large park and the general Prague Castle part of town. I imagine this makes it somewhat of a more laid back place to take a break and enjoy eating during the peak tourist season. The food is delicious and served hot as soon as possible. The chicken schnitzel and potato was perfect to go with the numerous beers on tap. The signature amber lager and seasonal IPO available during spring were both exceptional by themselves. Many argue that these are some of the best beers to be found in Prague (lots more research to be done in future). Staff was very lively and serviced tables promptly. They were enjoyable to communicate with customers with ranging amounts of English and inebriation.

There is a TV and projector screen for sports viewing. Free wi-fi - the code is written on a chalkboard on the wall directly across from the front door. Flavors were good, I just wish the soup was a little hotter to thoroughly melt all the cheese which just clumped together on the bottom - just starting to melt but not quite melt-y. I ordered the grilled salmon with spinach and a side of croquettes for my main meal. Came out nice and hot. Salmon was cooked to perfection - just the right amount of flaky - and the sauce was very complementary flavors. The croquettes was a big plate, probably good for sharing. They were ok. Overall I like the vibe of the bar, service was friendly, and the food was good. I can def see myself stopping in again. To note: as I was leaving a customer came in with a dog. Guess dogs are allowed. I'm not a fan of the dogs in the restaurant as I eat but I'm sure some people don't mind.
