I've passed Beav's for years traveling to and from Towson, and finally got the chance to visit recently. Nondescript exterior, except for the giant beaver with a pipe on the side wall. Parking is located behind the building, just beyond a sketchy motel in a shared lot. The interior is full of smoking accessories and curiosities that only a certain clientele would appreciate. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went to this place for the first time about two weeks ago. The people were nice and I thought, hey, I can start coming here instead of driving to the smoke shop in downtown Towson to get my vape products. The guy who helped me was really nice. All I wanted was a vaporizer cartridge. There was a cheaper version and I was going to get that but he recommended a more expensive version that cost it 50 bucks by Exus snap (a supposedly Jack Herer cup winner). He told me this cartridge would last me for a long time. Not only did I buy one for me, but I also bought a second one for someone else. I took it home. it worked the first charge but a week later, it didn't work at all. So I plugged it in another place to charge it and it didn't work there either. So today I brought it back to let them know it's not working, and the guy came up with every excuse in the book with why it's not working. So I told him, look, I just bought this not even two weeks ago and you guys recommended it and now it's not working. They sold me some BS and they know it. When I asked him what the refund policy was he said you can't bring anything back, we don't give refund. Now I see why! Then, he puts his charger in the cartridge and it still didn't work, so obviously they sold me a bum a cartridge but then refused to refund my money or replace it. Obviously, something was wrong with the product they sold me not even two weeks ago. The thing I'm most angry about is that they did not even attempt to make it right - offer me an exchange, for instance, but told me my only option was to contact the company and request a replacement. Really,!?! Now I can't even use it and I don't even have a second one. This is madly irritating. If you sell somebody a product, then it should work, especially two weeks out. If it doesn't work, then you should replace it if, especially if they've only had it less than a few weeks, so that you get a return customer. But I won't be returning to this place ever again!! I work hard for every penny I make and I'm not going to do business with a company selling a product that works the day I buy it but not days later. What! That seems criminal to me, especially since they don't do returns/refunds. Could Something shady be going on here? Now what they could have easily done was give me a new cartridge vaporizer since I just bought this one not even two weeks ago, but they even bother to do that. Very poor Customer Service ! Go somewhere else where at least you'll either get a refund or replacement and your money won't just go down the drain! I would've been better off just throwing the money into the trash and setting it on fire. STOP SELLING people DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS!!! read more

Went in today looking for new glass and the guy helped me hone in on what I wanted right away at my price point and was super personable.

Just picked this up at a steal they really know their product and have incredible prices. The guys here really know their stuff, just let them know what you want, what size and price range and you'll leave with alot of knowledge, piece of mind and a great deal. They also have an incredible arrangement of wicked looking pipes and a really nice assortment of vapes and vape supplies. Tonight I broke my spoon pipe and was devastated to find my usual shop was closed. I took a leap of faith and went to Beav's. I don't think I'll be going to my other one again. The pieces are fantastic and the service was great. The guy who helped me was very nice (and cute I may add, hello if you're reading this!) and seemed actually interested in helping me. Also got free screens and a lighter with my purchase, which was awesome! 10/10, definitely coming back! read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. This pIace sells counterfeit merchandise. I purchased a vape from them and within 2 days the heating coil stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer who requested I send them pics for a warranty exchange. When they reviewed the pics, they informed me that it was fake. When I went back to demand my money back, they refused to refund me my money. I even and still have the email from the company stating it's fake and they still refused! I spoke to Eric the owner and he told me there is no sign guaranteeing an authentic product in the store and it is not against the law to sell counterfeit items. Never spend your money there, and buyer beware because he doesn't care if he sells you counterfeit items! read more

Bought a vape for 100 bucks, the guy behind the counter was all smiles. I thought he was just being nice, but I get it now. Later I looked online and found out they were actually worth 25 dollars. I was in a rush to get back to work so I must not have been thinking straight. I guess I'm the asshole for not doing research, but a 4x price markup? I really should have guessed I'd be ripped off when he said they dont take visa. Theres an ATM sitting right there in the shop. Bad sign. I would probably expect this coming from a pawn shop, or a cash for gold scam, but not really a smoke shop. The guy working there (owner I'm guessing) looked wrecked. The shop was also really grimey. I left there feeling like maybe I got herpes. He gave me a free lighter though, so, we're all good. I genuinely hope this place folds.
