My sons car got a flat on the L.I.E. and he responded in a timely manner and very polite

had a accident Sunday was in hospital had surgery Wednesday came home Sunday spoke with someone from beaver towing on Sunday very rude to start the conversation I let him know I had surgery Wednesday and just came home today I speak with the same rude scammer and he said if I want my plates an anything else bring him 1,500 and the title without that I can't get anything mind you I have a metal brace on my knee unable to move around all from a phone conversation guy calling me a Dick head that crashed his car on expressway very disrespectful and unprofessional establishments the BBB should really look into this establishment read more

I wish I could rate this zero stars. Someone crashed into me and they towed my car. Then I got the bill: Over $1,000 for a 2 1/2‑day hold plus the tow back to my house. The hours alone are absurd, but the storage and service fees for that short period are downright exploitative. NOT TO MENTION THE CAR WAS IN WORSE CONDITION WHEN I WENT TO CHECK IT OUT If you value reasonable hours and fair pricing, look elsewhere. This place simply doesn't deliver either. read more

The guy is a liar and likes to waste time. He probably has contacts with Suffolk PD who are sharing the profits because this is the worst company I have ever worked with. I first talked to him so I can tow the car somewhere else from his yard, but he said to wait 30 minutes to finish the invoice. When we get there, he says his boss has to do a "surgery" (he keeps saying this but it is a total lie), then when we ask him if we can pay with card, he lies again and says he's the only the one working and doesn't know how to operate the credit card machine (then why did your "boss" hire you ??). He tells us to call back in 3 hours, so we do, but he then again insists we pay him cash (at this point, he was doing all he can to avoid card transaction). He charged us almost $1600 for 2 days of towing !! He's completely disregarding county laws that set a maximum. This Guy is a blatant scammer and not to mention he's defrauding the state by collecting taxes on towing (not supposed to collect taxes on towing). I will definitely have to reach out to AG or someone because this illegal behavior should not be tolerated. He wasted almost 5 hours of my time. If he refuses to accept card, tell him you either accept or call the cops because he's deliberately delaying hoping you will cave. read more

VERY OVERPRICED!!! This is what you will pay for 1 and a half days of this prick having your car , he will do the most to keep the car for more days , he is a fraud , wanted to get physical with me when I wanted to inspect my vehicle before payment , and when I'm want to pay with my card he tell me his machine is broken, when he clearly told me he takes card on the phone when I spoke with him , also he changed the price of the total amount after I called the cops on him , went from 725 to 760 SOMEONE SUE THIS GUY ASAP I went in the SAME DAY he towed my car on Sunday , he said he can't give me my car because he's closed , but what ?? He can "ONLY OPEN IF he has to tow a car "?? Dude you only accept cash and your lot is disgusting , I would have payed extra just to get my car out of that trash lot but no he can't give me my car 2 hours after he towed it , he is a fraud FRAUD FRAUD !!!! read more

Beaver's Towing - VERY OVERPRICED , this is a 1 1/2 day my car was there - Towing Near Me - Bay Shore, New York

Terrible service charged 600 for having my car for 20 hours stole property out of my car and has a terrible attitude. The owner of the company does not have a office his office is right out of his truck worse company to let tow your car its a rip off and he will cause more damage to the property. read more

Very Overpriced! Does not tell you price until car is already on the tow. Then he tells you cash only. Who has $310 cash on them? He refused to take the car off the tow. He was holding my car hostage - pay up in cash or else the car would go to a storage lot with tow plus storage fees. I am filing complaints with any organization that can take action - BBB and Islip Township and legal services. I see from all the complaints I am not the only victim. His cash only scam has been going on for years. The Islip township rules say the max for the tow is $125. read more

This man is a fraud. He was called by the police when my daughter had an accident. I was given no choice. I wanted to call my roadside. The next day we went to get the vehicle he wanted $613 cash he will not accept any other payment and says if you don't pay cash you don't get your car and there is a $45 a day fee. I had to file a police report. This man doesn't tell you it's only cash when he takes the car . He preys on people in accidents that are vulnerable. He says his credit card machine is broken. If you look on google at all his reviews he's been doing this for years. He is a financial fraud. Everyone who has had an issue with him needs to report him to BBB so he can't do this to anyone else. He is a piece of garbage. Hung up on me , rude Btw it's illegal for tows not to offer multiple forms of payment. Not everyone has cash. My car was towed 2 miles and he charged $613. He does not follow guidelines. Please do not use this company. read more

I have never been so disrespected in my life if I could give this place negative stars I would and I forgot to add all your belongs in your car will get stolen as well so take anything of value with you read more

Called Geico for road side assistance because i got stuck on the Long island expressway , as it was a restricted road , geico called this company to have my car towed off the restricted road so that geico may call one of their tow trucks to take my car from there to my destination. The tow-trucker put my car on the truck and asked me where i wanted to tow my car too for which i told him to take the car off the restricted road so that geico road side assistance can get my car. However when the trucker asked me to pay up front cash, as i do not carry cash rather only credit/debit cards for safety reasons, he then handed me a card and drove away with my car and left me stranded on the side of the expressway. After calling the number on the card someone picked up but when i started to speak about my car they had just towed they hung up the phone on me , right after that multiple times i called back but they did not pick up. Only after calling geico again and explaining what had happened, gieco called the company and they answered the phone , then geico told me that my car was being taken to the lot. So after everything , now i will be forced to an overnight lot fee on top of any other fee, and was wrongfully left stranded on the side of an expressway simply because i had no cash to pay the man up front. When he could've even taken me to an atm if he really wanted to be paid so badly. Very furious with the way this company treated me, never felt so helpless before and so wrongfully treated , as well has humiliated and put into such danger being left on the side of an expressway with cars driving 80-85mph. read more

This is the worst place to use the towing service the owner Howie is a person in a bad mood would say how rude and insulting the customer, he thinks he does a favor when one pays for the service or whether the car insurance would never return to use this place read more

Very disappointed with lack of customer service, and pricing for a 5 minute tow. Owner doesn't care anything except money. Not to mention he closed his yard on purpose to force me to pay the overnight fee. I wouldn't even refer this guy to my ex's. read more

Great fast service! Came out in the middle of the night. Rate was very fair. They answered when no one else would.

I was involved in an accident and Beavers Towing towed my car to their location in Bayshore. About a week or so later, the insurance company advised they would pay the damages. I picked Star Struck Auto and advised Howie(beavers) that I wouldn't be using his body shop. His attitude completely changed. Fast forward to today, Star Struck reached out to Beavers and was told they wouldn't release my car until payment was made when it was already established that the insurance would pay the storage fees. I called Howie myself with the insurance agent and Star Struck on the phone and he was so rude to me and I had to ask him to stop yelling and talk to me like a person so I could understand what was going on. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Howie needs to learn customer service and how to treat and talk to people! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE ! read more

Howie is a great guy. Came fast, was gentle putting the car on his flatbed and was a true professional.

HOWIEEE if you can't have any customer service skills then CLOSE YOUR BUSINESS!! My husband had a car accident. The police called the tow company (Not us) and now we are calling him to let us come in and take our belonging away and he has been arrogant, nasty, and he only cares ABOUT MONEY. He wants us to pay him when my car has been taken there DUE TO AN ACCIDENT NOT because we look for any his services. This has been an awful experience trying to deal with him. WE WILL NEVER USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN. I could give you RED star I will. read more
