I wish I could rate this zero stars. Someone crashed into me and they towed my car. Then I got the bill: Over $1,000 for a 2 1/2‑day hold plus the tow back to my house. The hours alone are absurd, but the storage and service fees for that short period are downright exploitative. The guy is a liar and likes to waste time. He probably has contacts with Suffolk PD who are sharing the profits because this is the worst company I have ever worked with. I first talked to him so I can tow the car somewhere else from his yard, but he said to wait 30 minutes to finish the invoice. When we get there, he says his boss has to do a "surgery" (he keeps saying this but it is a total lie), then when we ask him if we can pay with card, he lies again and says he's the only the one working and doesn't know how to operate the credit card machine (then why did your "boss" hire you ??). He tells us to call back in 3 hours, so we do, but he then again insists we pay him cash (at this point, he was doing all he can to avoid card transaction). He charged us almost $1600 for 2 days of towing !! He's completely disregarding county laws that set a maximum. This Guy is a blatant scammer and not to mention he's defrauding the state by collecting taxes on towing (not supposed to collect taxes on towing). I will definitely have to reach out to AG or someone because this illegal behavior should not be tolerated. He wasted almost 5 hours of my time. If he refuses to accept card, tell him you either accept or call the cops because he's deliberately delaying hoping you will cave. read more

Very Overpriced! Does not tell you price until car is already on the tow. Then he tells you cash only. Who has $310 cash on them? He refused to take the car off the tow. He was holding my car hostage - pay up in cash or else the car would go to a storage lot with tow plus storage fees. I am filing complaints with any organization that can take action - BBB and Islip Township and legal services. I see from all the complaints I am not the only victim. His cash only scam has been going on for years. The Islip township rules say the max for the tow is $125. read more

This man is a fraud. He was called by the police when my daughter had an accident. I was given no choice. I wanted to call my roadside. The next day we went to get the vehicle he wanted $613 cash he will not accept any other payment and says if you don't pay cash you don't get your car and there is a $45 a day fee. I had to file a police report. This man doesn't tell you it's only cash when he takes the car . He preys on people in accidents that are vulnerable. He says his credit card machine is broken. If you look on google at all his reviews he's been doing this for years. He is a financial fraud. Everyone who has had an issue with him needs to report him to BBB so he can't do this to anyone else. He is a piece of garbage. Hung up on me , rude Btw it's illegal for tows not to offer multiple forms of payment. Not everyone has cash. My car was towed 2 miles and he charged $613. The worst experience I have ever had with a tow company they wouldn't even let me insurance company in to see the car so I paid the tow fee to let them in and then he never gave me a receipt for what I paid and would not give me one till I paid a storage fee mean while I handed over my car to him to crap very rude horrible customer service and if ur car is in there lot good luck trying to see it no one is ever there for u to go see it .. Called Geico for road side assistance because i got stuck on the Long island expressway , as it was a restricted road , geico called this company to have my car towed off the restricted road so that geico may call one of their tow trucks to take my car from there to my destination. The tow-trucker put my car on the truck and asked me where i wanted to tow my car too for which i told him to take the car off the restricted road so that geico road side assistance can get my car. However when the trucker asked me to pay up front cash, as i do not carry cash rather only credit/debit cards for safety reasons, he then handed me a card and drove away with my car and left me stranded on the side of the expressway. After calling the number on the card someone picked up but when i started to speak about my car they had just towed they hung up the phone on me , right after that multiple times i called back but they did not pick up. Only after calling geico again and explaining what had happened, gieco called the company and they answered the phone , then geico told me that my car was being taken to the lot. So after everything , now i will be forced to an overnight lot fee on top of any other fee, and was wrongfully left stranded on the side of an expressway simply because i had no cash to pay the man up front. When he could've even taken me to an atm if he really wanted to be paid so badly. Very furious with the way this company treated me, never felt so helpless before and so wrongfully treated , as well has humiliated and put into such danger being left on the side of an expressway with cars driving 80-85mph. read more

Very disappointed with lack of customer service, and pricing for a 5 minute tow. Owner doesn't care anything except money. Not to mention he closed his yard on purpose to force me to pay the overnight fee. I wouldn't even refer this guy to my ex's. read more

Great fast service! Came out in the middle of the night. Rate was very fair. They answered when no one else would.

I was involved in an accident and Beavers Towing towed my car to their location in Bayshore. About a week or so later, the insurance company advised they would pay the damages. I picked Star Struck Auto and advised Howie(beavers) that I wouldn't be using his body shop. His attitude completely changed. Fast forward to today, Star Struck reached out to Beavers and was told they wouldn't release my car until payment was made when it was already established that the insurance would pay the storage fees. I called Howie myself with the insurance agent and Star Struck on the phone and he was so rude to me and I had to ask him to stop yelling and talk to me like a person so I could understand what was going on. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Howie needs to learn customer service and how to treat and talk to people! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE ! read more

The police called the tow company (Not us) and now we are calling him to let us come in and take our belonging away and he has been arrogant, nasty, and he only cares ABOUT MONEY.
