Sure, if you can't survive a couple hours without alcohol, you can splurge and sink some earnings in to a beverage and even scarf down some food for a premium. Passed on all that this time. This felt permanently temporary and with good reason- it is. It was exciting to stomp on the metal bleachers when that happened. It also felt like a high school rally where the kiddos would stomp and pout and make as much noise as they could. Found myself applauding because that seemed appropriate at the time but could not understand what seemed like trying to play an instrument with your feet on the metal bleacher. Parking seemed convenient enough. $15 for the evening with a back exit to split when the time came. It will cost more at the new place because this is left over space from a pretty much fallen California Exposition Center. They'll have to pave new lots. Yay. Bathrooms were porta-potties. Most of them were anyways. Yet another permanently temporary band-aid. Let's hope they don't take them out to the new stadium. Food venues looked like leftovers from the fair. Not about that. The "premium" spots gated and guarded by folks who want more money to sit down will hopefully get some real upgrades as opposed to the fancy net protecting them at this place. Had some dudes sing the National Anthem (ooh, anthem time baby!) and a brief half time display. Thanks Rachel, for the scarf. It seemed warm and the stadium was half in the sun upon arrival so shorts and a t-shirt were too much. Sun went down and it got a little chilly so the scarf-ish thing was welcome. "Bonney Field is not meant to be a permanent structure." This is the same place but with new name tags. The quote is from over 11 years ago. Out with the old, in with the new. Not entirely disappointed in going to this old setup (will most likely be the first and last time going here) and not bothered in the least that it's going away.

Surrounding stadium area: Located at Heart Health Park in Cal Expo, the Sac Republic facility is a really nice spot. Outside of the field was almost a dozen food (pizza, Greek, Tacos, German, frozen treats, etc.) & drink trucks (beers, Margaritas, Agua Frescas, etc.) options. Stadium area: VIP seating to the South, Home field side to the West, Away side to the East, and the tall bleachers to the North. SRFC also has a really nice field. Very grateful as both my boys took the time to spend the day! A little disappointed with the exhibits - which we all love to see- the one exhibit was more like an empty building with a few vendors selling.. The livestock building only had goats- might have went at the wrong time-.. My oldest son had a very good observation point- When we walked by the seals- they were blaring out music-and one can only imagine the seals enduring that for how many hours-.. Massive corn dogs were $19.99 - better than last year which was all dough- Cinnamon rolls with a new Tres leches variety!". Glad we made it down... and looking forward to another year..

I just graduated from the paralegal studies program. I had a great experience aside from the…read moreadmissions office telling me the program would only be 24 months. The length was over 2 1/2 years. I started January 2020 and finished August 2022. I would have appreciated the transparency upfront during the admissions process. Some students were there longer than me. I'd recommend clarifying this during the admissions process if you plan on attending this school. The instructors were overall great. Some would go out of their way to schedule one on one tutoring sessions if a student needed it. I really felt that I had support if I needed it. The legal instructors were very knowledgeable in the field and taught skills and tasks that are used in the legal field. I had the pleasure of attending while Linda Gardenhire was Department Chair and then Eric Fernandez when she retired. They were both amazing and supportive throughout my whole program. They were very personable and I felt like they genuinely really cared about the success of their students. I happened to have Eric as an instructor for Contract Law and Advanced Legal Research and Writing. These classes were definitely a challenge for me, I made sure to meet with Eric early on and communicate this to him. He did a great job clarifying and helping me through the challenging assignments. He really pushed me out of my comfort zone and challenged me to be better. The class material mirrors what paralegals do in the field and will help prepare anyone looking to succeed in the legal field.

Something I've always wanted to experience so I was excited We waited in line for about 15 minutes. While waiting, they let us take a photo in front of one of the scary displays, which was a cool touch. Before entering, security made the rules very clear: no phones, no photos, no videos! The walkthrough took about 20 minutes. There was a few times were I couldn't tell is something was real or fake. Every time my girl screamed, I screamed right after her, it was automatic at that point. Toward the end, it felt like there weren't as many people popping out compared to the beginning, so it slowed down a little. But even with that, I still had a great time. Overall, it's a fun experience if you like haunted houses or horror-themed activities. My girl didn't love it as much as I did, but I truly appreciated her planning this for us. This would be great for date night!

I'm happy to find and visit Bowlero North Sacramento for the first time. We visited on Saturday morning because they were running a special, $12.99 unlimited bowling from 11 AM to 3 PM. It was 4 of us and we each played 3 games. Such a great deal! There is a small arcade area by the entrance. A bar and one pool table in the back. You can order food and drinks from the small food station. We had breakfast before bowling and didn't have the chance to try their food. Honestly, I don't have high expectations for food at bowling alleys. We were in lane 32. There are only 3 seats in the sitting area but you can also sit by the bar stools behind the lane. The lane next to us was empty so we were able to spread out. It would be tight if they place someone else next to us. I like the screens that run across with back wall with different channels (news, sports, etc.) I was entertained while waiting for my turn. We didn't have any technical problem during this visit. Our ball didn't get stuck and everything ran very smoothly. We had a great time! The bathroom is a little run down but well maintained. I don't like the dim red tint lighting but I get why they have to keep the lighting this way. The parking lot is pretty big and didn't have any problem with parking. They are right next to In-Shape Fitness. With this great deal, I will definitely be back soon.

It was pretty clear they were understaffed, and we were patient and understanding about that. In fact, later on we even saw the same employee who appeared to be a manager handling food orders and fries, so it was obvious staff members were being stretched thin. The real problem came near the end of our first game when my boyfriend's stepfather's bowling ball (we brought our own shoes and balls) got stuck in the ball return and stopped coming back. We pressed the assistance button at the lane, but nobody responded. After waiting, we had to walk up and ask for help ourselves. The employee who appeared to be a manager came over and immediately had an attitude. Instead of helping, he told us that "most bowlers use two balls" and that it was normal for a ball not to return. He said we should just throw another ball down the lane. He then went a step further and told us that if it happened again, he would not come get the ball. That response was honestly shocking. If they were short-staffed and unable to get to us right away, all he had to do was be honest. We would have completely understood. Instead, he acted as though a malfunctioning ball return was our fault and spoke to us in a rude, dismissive manner. A little honesty and basic kindness would have gone a long way. The ball return had been working perfectly fine throughout the game, so being told that a stuck ball was "normal" didn't make much sense. My boyfriend's stepfather has been bowling for most of his life and has never been told that customers should expect their ball to get stuck and simply throw another one instead. Equipment issues happen. Being understaffed happens. What isn't acceptable is a manager treating customers like they're a nuisance for asking for help. The issue wasn't the stuck ball, it was the attitude. Being told that management wouldn't help retrieve a ball if it happened again, combined with the rude and dismissive behavior, completely changed our experience. We came in expecting a fun night of bowling. Instead, we left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Customer service costs nothing, and unfortunately, that's what was missing here.

We bought our tickets at the counter & customer service was fine. Kiosks were also available to buy tickets. There was a good variety of conventional concessions available for purchase, self serve soda machines, & an open area with tables & chairs. The hallways to the theaters are wide. We found the theater to be clean with very comfy & roomy seats. I liked that the button on the side could raise the foot rest & recline the back into whatever position you liked (versus only 2 positions of kicking back or being upright). I also liked that I got my own arm rest. The viewing experience was good. When we got out, there was popcorn spillage in the hall. Not sure how long it would be there, but no employees were around. It's a surreal experience to go through a ghost town of a mall to get to the theater, but there's a lot of parking available.
