Billy, the sales manager, took well over an hour to update our 6 year old Channelmaster DVR. We did not have an appointment nor did we buy the Channelmaster from Silica. Every single appliance in my home right down to my DVD players has been purchased from this establishment. A few years back in Feb of 2015 I purchased a TV (plasma) for $699.00. We brought the tv home only to find out that what by sight ( plastic banding and taped close box) was actually a USED TV After opening the box we could only tell it was used because the plastic packaging that contained the batteries and remote had been opened and the batteries were in the remote. At which time I notified Silica that I was aware of this and they rectified the situation by adding the extended warranty at no cost to me (only because they sold me a USED TV as NEW! Flash forward to 2 weeks ago 4/17 today. The tv malfunctioned and we took it back, UNDER WARRANTY, to Silica TV to have it fixed or replaced, and on Saturday of this past week I spoke with Luke and was notified that the part to fix the tv was on its way and would arrive on Tuesday (yesterday)! Today we are told that the warranty company is not going to fix the tv and would be getting in contact with me in the next 2 days to discuss the PRORATED replacement money they will be providing. In a nutshell, I WILL NEVER BUY A SINGLE PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN! So angry right now.

Some employees are knowledgeable and kind but most are short, rude and have no clue what is going on with your order or the merchandise they're selling. My concerns were promptly addressed. Being recently widowed I wanted a contractor I could trust. I found that in Brian Behnke. He furnished me with multiple bids to aid me in reaching a decision. I was never felt pressured. I was able to meet with family members to discuss the replacement of the heating and cooling system necessitated by failure, age and updating and that I had multiple options to review . When the time comes for me to sell I have the confidence knowing that my expenditure now will save me worries in the future. I was never high-pressured; had all my concerns promptly addressed and know that I am in good hands with C & B . Most importantly, my kids know that their 83 year old mom was treated fairly. My home was left in pristine condition following the installation and all the items that were replaced were removed from my property. C & C is truly a 5 star operation. *****

We hired Ron to do our excavation project, putting up a double retaining wall with a staircase next to it and installing a new sidewalk. We were told this could be done in about 10 days...it took 6 weeks. There was miscommunication (continually) regarding construction, and due to his miscalculation of materials, it cost us an extra $7,000. Workers would not show up for days ( these were clear days with mild temps!), only to be told that he had two workers out with injuries. (Why would you take on a project without enough workers available?). Communication was very poor during the entire project. The sidewalk had to be re-poured due to faulty workmanship the first time. I hesitated to post this review because I give contractors the benefit of the doubt when I can, but I'm hoping to relieve someone else of the frustration we experienced with this company.
