I booked 3 treatments on a Friday. I specified that I was tight on time and that I needed to be out…read moreby 10 to 4pm. It started with make up for a special occasion, I clearly said that I do not wear a lot of make up but I need some thing that would definitely concealed the shadows under the eyes. The young lady who was assigned to me, I assumed was a trainee because she had no confidence whatsoever, was very slow and to be honest had no idea, later I was told that she was not a trainee, hard to believe. I have had professional make up done before and this has been the worse ever, even I can do better myself and save me the £25, I felt that they did not have much choice of anything as foundations, lipsticks, etc ..... this make up session took ages by then she was running late. Then she proceeded to put individual eyelashes, again terrible, she kept placing them on and taking them off .... I felt she was rushed and I left after paying at 4pm ... I was very annoyed, I do not like to complained I really don't but beauty treatments are a treat, you are meant to be leaving the salon feeling like a million dollars, she was running so late that there was no time to do the last treatment I have booked, the waxing. I then went to the hairdressers where I had the chance to sit in front of a mirror for an hour and realise how bad the make up was and how there were gaps in the eyelashes. I was very upset and to be honest felt like crying. I decided to do something I never do and go back and talk to the manager ... to be honest she was nice and she did stay to fix it, however I got out of there at almost 7pm, I was supposed to be at a party by then and still had to go home to get changed. She agreed that the make up and eyelashes where shabby after trying to fish the individual eyelash, we decided it was not working and she put some false eyelash glued to the eyelid, to be honest, I can buy those at boots and do it myself at home. She then tried to fix the make up, she did this in a room with no natural light, to be honest I was so fed up by then and upset. As I left there was no offer of refund, discount ... nothing which is hard to understand ..... lastly as I arrived home to get changed, I looked in the mirror and the make up was no better, there were patches everywhere, no blending, bronzer was overdone, lipstick was smudge, terrible, I took it all of and did it myself. I feel like I threw £45 down in the bin. It is fine to try to fix it but if the job is still shabby there is no point, I will never return and I will never recommend, to be honest stay away or go at your own peril.
