Wasn't open when it say it should be open. It was like 5 cars outside wanting. This is very unprofessional.

This particular day I went to get a passport photo. The cashier who assisted me first looked to see what kind of shirt I had on. I had a sweatshirt with writing on it so that wasn't going to work. So I told her I'd change shirts and come back. When I came back she immediately called someone to come take the picture. They lady that took the picture was very nice. The camera wasn't charged so she said she hoped we could get a few taken before it died. Luckily we got 2 good ones before it shut off. It took a few minutes to process so I browsed the Christmas clearance and grabbed some vitamins while I waited. When it was ready she found me and let me know. When I went to check out my picture was there waiting. Upon checking out, there was an issue with the card sliding out of the chip reader. The cashier had to hold it while I put in my pin and waited for the transaction to complete. For some reason the debit transaction kept taking forever and we learned debit was down so we had to had to then do it as a credit for it to work. The cashier was so patient and helpful through the whole process. The great customer service I always receive is why I prefer this place and keep coming back.

It's not a bad thing to be friendly nor helpful, but sometimes I can't tell if they're genuinely friendly or not. Speaking on being helpful, they're willing to help you find a specific candle if you're completely overwhelmed from the large amounts of candles/colors and lazy to look carefully for a scent.

Remind you there was a young lady standing there, she was just too busy on her phone to care(didn't bother to look up). I was there for some hand soap and to my surprise they were on sale for the 5/$27. Since the autumn/halloween collection is out I decided to take my time and sniff all the new scents. The workers were looking at me like I've lost my mind except Christiana who actually acknowledged me. I avoided letting their rudeness bother me and proceeded to grab my handsoaps. However it did bother me that a couple of the employees thought it was the perfect time to talk about how they were f*cked up on some Cutwaters. Like really? I guess because there were only black customers in the store at the time they thought we would chime in and relate. Uh no, tacky asl. Okay so I eventually get my soaps and head to checkout. I was told I had a reward for a free gift and decided to get a candle since the reward expired a few days later. Again, B&BW has 15+ scents, I didn't know I had 30 seconds to choose though. While I was deciding on a scent, the other cashier comes over to the area I was occupying. Want to guess what she was doing? Well, I'm still unsure myself because she stood there for less than a minute and walked back over to the register. I know she didn't call herself watching me. Guess I took too long because when I got back to the register the cashier who was ringing me out had an attitude(tried to hide it). I'll be sure to steer clear of this location going forward, weird people working there.

More recently I've been buying baby clothes here because what I love about JCP is their sales and that extends to the children's clothing. At this particular store, the entrance on what I found out was the second floor is does not have any sort of button for disabled folks to enter. It is kind of astounding to me that in the year 2024 this is not standard on basically any entrance door, especially on a building that's less than 100 years old. Also interesting is that the elevator is in one of the further corners of the store, so that seems really helpful for someone with a disability who's trying to visit. They no longer have a Sephora, but they do have a beauty section in the middle of the store. They don't sell the same brands as they did as Sephora, though. I asked if they had the Lancome mascara that I use and they didn't. I'd return if I was in the area but may not make a special trip here. That's what online is for.

That some people change the tags...Ugh!!!! Soo disappointed. There were items I would have tried on but It was like 80* inside. I was uncomfortable, and sweating. There were no real customer service, when I was browsing the jewelry department the attendant ignored me, so I walked away. Not worth the aggravation. If you like to wear grandma clothes like from the old SEARS stores this is the place to shop.

She didn't just do her job she cared. She made sure I was comfortable, supported, and never alone in moments when I needed reassurance the most. Kira represents the very best of what healthcare should be. Her kindness, responsiveness, and unwavering support deserve recognition and deep appreciation. I want to be very honest with this review of Loyola University Medical Center…read more We arrived on Easter Sunday night after being transferred from another hospital, and I was truly grateful we made it. The ICU staff on the 2nd floor were exceptional--kind, professional, and attentive. They consistently checked on us and treated both patients and family with care and respect during a very difficult time. However, after a few days, we were moved to the 3rd floor, and the experience changed significantly. During overnight hours--around 2 AM--the environment has been surprisingly loud. I heard staff using profanity, watching videos or news on their phones at high volume, and openly complaining about long shifts. I understand healthcare is demanding, but this is a hospital setting, and patients (and their families) can hear everything. My relative is here receiving end-of-life care, so I stay overnight. At one point, a nurse questioned my presence rather abruptly before knowing the situation. To her credit, she apologized once she understood, but in moments like these, a little more compassion upfront goes a long way. One of the nurse was rude and jist keep using profanity and stated this is who she is. Wow, Loyola use to have professional nursing staff, what happened? I also noticed interactions where staff spoke to patients in a very casual, sometimes inappropriate tone. Maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned, but professionalism matters--especially in a place where people are vulnerable, grieving, and trying to find peace. My takeaway: There is clearly a strong, compassionate team here--as seen in the ICU--but consistency matters. Professionalism, awareness, and respect should be maintained across all floors, especially during overnight hours. Hospitals should feel calm and supportive, not loud or chaotic. Patients and families deserve that--especially during life's most difficult moments. I will give a 4 star due to our first encounter here and the kindness nurses such as Nicole and Quand and Jordan. Very kind d and attentive. And I just heard 2 nurses use profanity to another nurse. I am sincerely flabbergasted that they speak like this so openly and there are patients present in their rooms. The level of unprofessionalism is amazing, and i am really saddened by this as this hospital was once top hospital. Being part of the joint commission will definitely reflect not only my review, but how I move forward. This is really upsetting me.
