I have some tricky little blonde leg hairs that are difficult to see AND tougher to come out but Jennifer gets 'em every time! She also intently listens to my bs about boys and friend drama That girl deserves an honorary PhD in counseling! I've also seen Giselle several times when Jennifer is not available and she's phenomenal too! I wish I could alternate seeing Jennifer and Giselle equally but my schedule doesn't permit! Finally, the ladies at reception are always so kind and helpful! I feel welcomed when I walk in and nurtured mind, body, and spirit every time I leave! It's an embarrassment of riches at Euro Wax Torrance!

Owner is super talented and after the first two times ( because there is always an adjustment period), she knows exactly how to do lashes for your eye shape, and to have it last long. The store isn't super big, it's not like a chain shop but this shop is clean, cozy, quiet, cool if you want, warm if you want, etc. The vibe is "chefs kiss" ! Unless I move to another state, this is the only place I would get my lashes done EVER PERIOD.

This is also why I've gone to so many different kinds of waxing places (big chain businesses or even local small ones). But after literally 2 years of finding a good waxing place, I finally found the one! NYOKA IS AMAZING AND IS THE REAL DEAL!! Immediately walking into her shop, she already welcomed me by my name and with a smile. Already a great start :) And during the whole appointment, we had a great talk and she even checked in with me if I was okay. I can tell that she wanted to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. The fact that she even brought out the tweezers to do some small cleanups just goes to show her attention to detail and her efforts to make sure the end product was good before the appointment was over. Nyoka is extremely sweet and I can tell she loves what she is doing. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to visit and buy her services :)

I have naturally thicker brows and have been getting my brows waxed for 20 years. I never caught on to the "thick, fluffy brows" trend, as thinner brows tend to shape my face better, but many estheticians these days are too afraid to take off more hair. Jackie was open to seeing photos of how my brows have been done in the past and was able to quickly identify her approach to getting my desired look. Where most estheticians stopped trimming/plucking, you could tell she had the confidence and knowledge to help me reach my desired look. She was really easy to talk to, but I could tell she wouldn't push having a conversation unless you wanted to. I'd asked her about getting Brazilian waxes post-c-section, as I'd just had one a few months ago, and I felt completely at ease after chatting with her -- you can tell she carries decades of expertise with her and I know she'd do a great job. I booked an eyebrow and lip wax, and found out that for new clients, the eyebrow wax was free! That was a nice surprise! By the end of my appointment, I knew I'd found my new esti and I am already booking my next appointment with her :)

The last time I was waxed was many months ago, and I hated the idea of going back because the provider I went to (not Waxxed) was not gentle and really hurt me. I have thick, coarse hair and that provider went over the area five times. At one point, she got the wax stuck down there. She was ripping and pulling. I left bleeding and swollen. My follicles also become infected and inflamed. So as you might guess, I was nervous about going to Waxxed. I'm glad that I did. Jackie was amazing. She calmed my nerves, talked to me, and made the experience quick and not as painful. My bikini area looks great. It feels great. My partner loved it. I'm looking forward to going back. I tried to make an appointment and it showed she had nothing available. I texted the salon and they explained she was hurt and would be out for a while. Early the next morning, I realized I had training at work and couldn't make it. I texted and said I needed to reschedule. OMG! I was inundated with calls and text messages saying I owed $25 for not giving 24 hours notice for cancellation. Hold the phone. I made the reservation less than 24 hours ago and I'm NOT your client. So you're saying, I owe $25 if I cancel for ANY reason because of the time I MADE the appointment?!!! I spoke the receptionist and went round and round. Bottom line, my waxer is injured, her colleague is putting the screws on me and I will go somewhere else to get my coochie waxed. TF? I'm responding to your response, If I made my appointment less than 24 hours before your cancellation time frame, then I'm screwed if anything comes up, correct? Michelle, this is ridiculous. She is likely ruining your practice. WTH? Megan, are you serious? Y'all reached out to ME! I never even thought of booking with you. Someone texted me. Wow. In this economy with gas at $6.89 a gallon, bikini waxing is a luxury. Do better. Michelle, praying for your speedy recovery. Bless your heart . Again, it appears you're doubling down.
