From the time we booked til we got the photos, Veronica was responsive and sooooo helpful with finding coordinating outfits for my entire family. On the day of our shoot with Veronica, my twins were melting down the entire time! Somehow she was still able to work her magic and capture amazing pictures for our family. She was super friendly that my daughter really took a liking to her and held her hand the entire walk back to the car after the shoot. We got our pics back 3 weeks later and I loooooove how they turned out! It's actually really hard to get good pics of 2 grouchy babies and 1 moving toddler, she captured so many amazing moments with us loving on the kids! So thankful that we'll have great family pictures for our holiday cards this year AND I'll have great pics to share for lifetime with my kids and grandkids someday! She definitely will be our go to from now on! Can't wait for our next shoot!

Within a week, we had our preview gallery and WE WERE BLOWN AWAY. She captured the personality of each and every person and truly captured the love we all feel for each other. We bought the full gallery without hesitation. I can't wait to use Cha Cha Photography for documenting our memories and moments in the future. Veronica will be our go to person for photos for years and years to come.

Overview: Yesenia has been an amazing photographer. We have…read moreloved working alongside her as she is so warm and inviting and has a great eye for amazing pictures. We first booked her for Christmas photos and then again for maternity pictures and most recently for newborn pictures. Yesenia works with your ideas and with her photographer's eye makes your dream picture come to life. I will continue to book Yesenia for my photography shoots and she is the first person I recommend when someone is looking for a photographer. Safety: As a mother, I have taken extra precautions during this pandemic so I was skeptical at first to book a photographer- but Yesenia has always ensured we feel safe as she creates a safe environment. She has kept her mask on for every shoot we have had with her, she disinfects all the items before use. Even now that she is fully vaccinated she keeps her mask on and constantly cleans her hands. Christmas Shoot: I first booked her when she was offering a Christmas mini in 2019. My husband, son, and our dog Moo showed up to the session at a park in the city. Yesenia was invited and warm as she helped us pose alongside the props she had. Also noted was that she was wearing a mask and disinfected the items we used as props in front of us before the shoot. I loved the pictures she took of us for Christmas that for the first time in a long time, I sent out Christmas cards! Pregnancy Shoot: I did not think I would ever have another child so when I became pregnant in 2020 I was ecstatic & quickly knew I wanted to well document this journey. I reached out to Yesenia right away, she congratulated me and told me when the most ideal pregnancy period was to take maternity pictures. I booked a spot for I was about 34 weeks pregnant. Before the shoot, Yesenia called me to discuss the color scheme, pictures I wanted to recreate, family portrait options, and the details of what I needed to take to the shoot that day. After our call, she sent me a detailed list of what to expect during the shoot and how I could prepare. When we arrived at the studio she made us feel comfortable as we took family pictures and then more intimate pregnancy pictures. My pictures came out so good everyone was in awe at how beautifully Yesenia captured that moment. Newborn Shoot: So of course I reached out to her again when my son was born. And as always she was great. She had everything in the studio prepared for our pictures. Yesenia even takes extra steps to ensure the newborn is comfortable the entire shoot. During the shoot, Yesenia was extremely calm and patient as she helped us pose and dress our son. Our son was asleep just about the entire session because he was so comfortable. I just received the raw images of this shoot and as always I am not disappointed. I cannot wait to see the final versions of these pictures =)

Initially we had a little tiff, because the unedited pictures were very normal and we were expecting more, but she assured that we'll be very happy with the final product, and WE were very happy with the final edit, except one picture where due to lighting, some eye shadow correction was needed and that didn't happen.

Jackie (the photographer) is incredibly sweet, kind, professional, and very much involved in the creative process. She has a variety of backdrops, placement accessories, pose recommendations, and invite us to bring any props that we'd like to use for the pictures. She is very patient (especially with crying babies lol) and was very chill with my baby's meltdown it is truly appreciated as I didn't feel rushed to complete the photo session nor did I feel like I had to run out because of my babies fussiness. It felt like a very safe space to diffuse the tantrum and then continue with the photoshoot once he felt better. I love the special touch she has of giving us 1 printed photo after the photoshoot. It makes me excited to see the final pictures! If you haven't already, I totally recommend booking your session as soon as possible. She fills up quick.

Sadly, due to Covid, our big wedding had to be postponed a couple times and then ultimately cancelled. Fortunately Quianna offered to shoot our backyard elopement and I am forever grateful to have those pictures from our ceremony. It wasn't the day we envisioned but she still captured some amazing pictures. She was always accommodating of our request to change dates (May 2020 to August 2020 to May 2021) and was extremely understanding of our ultimate decision to cancel instead of postponing another year. Although her contract states no refunds, she generously offered us a partial refund due to the circumstances. I highly recommend Quianna if you are looking for a photographer who will take amazing pictures as well as be your personal cheerleader throughout the planning process!

If you have even an inkling that you want Quianna to photograph your big day (or any day for that…read morematter) let me just tell you, you are RIGHT! We met Quianna at our friends wedding and before I had even seen a single photo she had taken, I went right up to her to see if she was available for our date just a few short months later. FIRST OF ALL, she knew off the top of her head when she was/wasn't available and could confirm to me without even looking in her phone that she was indeed available! Although I had yet to see the quality of any of her photos yet, having watched the way she interacted with the bride, groom and their families truly blew me away. Everyone felt so comfortable getting their photo taken, even the men! She gave me her Instagram name and told me to give her some stalking to see if her style matched what I was looking for! SECONDLY, Quianna has a beautiful lightness and airiness to her photos and although I'm more of an edgy, dark color wearing boho girl- I saw just what she was able to capture with her camera and was sold! She captures moments of true love, moments you see in a country music video or romantic comedy- but authentic. I had no doubt that she would capture my husband + my style perfectly while implementing the beautiful airiness she's known for! She did NOT disappoint! Once it was time for our engagement shoot, I couldn't even tell you how long we were out there. I know it was longer than we were supposed to be but it felt like 15 minutes MAX! She made the process so easy, comfortable and even fun! All of my suspicions of just how good she was, was confirmed after that shoot. Which made me even more excited for our wedding, as if that was possible?! Our wedding day came and things were running behind, WAY behind but Quianna showed up to the venue to help us finish setting up + even brought my favorite Cheez-It's to snack on while getting ready! Our wedding was very small and intimate, 20 people including the bride + groom! Truthfully, she couldn't have fit in with our family better! She was sure to get every "Pinterest Photo" we wanted to recreate as well as ones we never thought of!! Our sneak peek was turned around SO QUICKLY with the rest of our photos to follow right after that and as expected, she blew everyone else we looked at out of the water! Qui, thank you for everything! The Vonderwerth Family

Echoing my friend Cindy L, yes, this team is FABULOUSSSSSSSS and FASTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more I met Michael in 2009, and I knew he and his team would be my wedding photographer and cinematographer one day when I tie the knot. In 2010, I introduced my start-up company in Redwood City to Michael and his team to do an IoT video and they loved his work. The animation was pure genius and story line was so easy to comprehend. In 2014, I introduced my best friend, Cindy L, to Michael and his team, for her wedding, and she and her husband absolutely fell in love with Capture the Love photos and cinematography. Fast forward to 2016. When my NOW husband and I booked Nestldown for our wedding venue in 2016, I knew IMMEDIATELY who I would have as my photographer and cinematographer--the wonderful Capture the Love team!!! I did not even shop around. Right after we signed the contract with Nestldown, I immediately called Michael Soo and made sure we reserve him for Fall 2017 before another couple snatch him from us. Michael and his team come at a price, but you SERIOUSLY pay for what you get. I honestly don't know any team who work as fast as this team. We took our engagement photos and finished around 5pm and within 3 hours, we received sneak previews, and by 9pm, we received all our photos! We had our wedding on Saturday, which ended at 10pm, and by midnight, we received 2 sneak previews!!!! On Tuesday (yes less than 72 hours later), we received another 20 photos!!!! He informed us that all the photos will be ready by Friday afternoon (less than 7 days from our wedding!!) ! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY, no one works this fast, except this fabulous team. I keep looking at the 20+ photos and I am still floating on cloud 9 and reliving every moment of our wedding day. On the day of our wedding, the team showed up early, which was SOOOO MUCH appreciative, so they could ensure they were able to capture every little minute detail. They always had a smile on their faces, even when they have to deal with crazy family members and vendors who get in the way of the shots. I looked in the corner of my eye and I was personally annoyed certain ppl/kids were in the shot, but the team was very professional and never yelled or had a frown on their faces. This definitely helps keep the bride calm. I never doubted this team and trusted them whenever they told us to go here and there, and do this and that pose. I told them, "tell us what to do and we will do it!" I can't wait to see all the photos and the cinematography so I can relive one of the best days of my life! When you ask former brides and grooms for wedding planning tips, they always say, "spend money on your photography and cinematography!!!" Best advice ever since you get to keep these photos and videos forever compared to florals which will last no more than a few days! Thank you so much Capture the Love!! Money well spent!!! I highly recommend if you're in the market for photography or/and cinematography!!!
