The gardens and grounds of Beaumont House today played host to Celebrate the Olive and its previous oil.
The program was organised by the Burnside branch of the National Trust and was worth every bit of the gold coin donation.

There was an informative presentation about Davenport and his olives dating from 1843.
Guided tours of the historic olive grove and it was interesting to hear of the rejuvenation over a five year period of these very old trees.
Four olive oil market stalls were located on the lawns as well as a cake stall with items made using olive oil.
The obligatory sausage sizzle was a welcome addition.
