Beau Wine Tours was simply the BEST! We celebrated my niece's 30th birthday and it was AMAZING. Beau Tours set up all the wine tours. We went to six wineries in two days and the experience was remarkable. Elise from Beau helped with the scheduling, order our lunch and communicated with all the wineries for us. She always responded to my emails and questions in a timely manner. Our driver, Cyrous, was Fantastic. He made the two days of wine tours spectacular. He was such a gentleman. He was tentative to all our requests and needs. He made it so special. Out of a scale 1 to 10 he was a 20!! We used BWT to transport people to and from our wedding. We had two shuttles that were meant to go to two Sonoma hotels. They only went to the one hotel, even after we had called and confirmed our plan the week before. They left half our guests waiting at the other hotel causing our ceremony to start late. Later in the evening one of our guests made a joke and said "I'm glad you remembered to pick us up!" The driver overreacted and kicked our guest off the bus, accusing him of a "felony." It got so out of hand that people on the bus thought the driver was unwell and not suitable to drive. People started calling Ubers to get off the shuttle. Over all it was a terrible and embarrassing experience. I felt very badly for our guests. read more

I booked Beau Wine Tours as a package with Napa Valley Hot Air Balloon Tours. The entire experience was awesome. Specifically pertaining to Beau, their customer service was great from first contact. They made booking the tour extremely simple. Prior to our trip, our driver Keith called to get a feel of what type of wineries we'd like to see and what we'd like to experience. He planned our trip and set up all of our reservations from there. His suggestions were spot on. We even had time to get in an early unplanned stop to Silver Oak. Keith was friendly, professional, and knowledgable. The car was a nicely appointed newer BMW 7 Series. Very clean and comfortable. All-in-all this experience was a home run. We have not gone on our tour yet and are already under-whelmed. We purchased our experience more than six weeks ago and communications have been spotty at best. The people who book for Beau seem to be available only about three half-days a week and rarely return phone calls or emails. After reaching out multiple times, we finally received a form to fill out for our booking about two weeks ago. We were given four days to turn it around or risk not having our tour booked. Seriously? After meeting the deadline, our form seemed to fall into a black hole. Our trip is in two weeks and we have no idea what will be planned. We've spent a lot of time in Napa & Sonoma and were looking forward to some new experiences, and the luxury of someone else doing the planning. So far, we've done all the work. read more

I spend quite a bit of time in Sonoma and when I was gifted $700 in gift vouchers from Beau, well I was thrilled. The booking process was spot on with great help and advice from Christine and several follow up calls to help customize our 5 hour tour with lunch for 4 from Girl and the Fig and two bottles of Bubbles, water and sodas (which we don't drink) but thoughtful. Frank our driver and host for the day was just delightful and very helpful with our choices for the day. I would like to add they were very flexible on our last min decision making for our actual destinations. Domain Carneros, Buena Vista (Fantastic Bubbles lounge) and Gundlach Bundschu. If you need transportation for winery tours while in Sonoma, I definitely recommend Beau Wine Tours! I planned a bachelorette party in Sonoma for a long weekend at the end of August. We wanted to spend the day visiting wineries and tasting responsibly so a friend referred me to Beau Wine Tours. His family used their services for a family trip last year and they did not disappoint. Lindsay coordinated with me and provided quotes, availability, pricing and suggested wineries that would accommodate our group and offer dining options. Our driver, Jay, was friendly, engaging and kept us on schedule so that we arrived at each winery on time. He was flexible and accommodating when we changed plans at the end of the day to stay longer and was kind enough to make multiple stops when taking us home. The 13-passenger vehicle that we traveled in was clean and cozy. He had a cord so we could hook up our music and was in good spirits as we sang along. I cannot say enough positive things about this! We used this service for a day trip to 3 wineries in Sonoma for my sister-in-law's bachelorette party. The bus was very nice - clean and spacious enough for all 11 girls (plus drinks, snacks, purses, and the wine we purchased throughout the day!). Our driver Sal was the BEST. A true gentleman, Sal made sure we were on time and went ahead to get us checked in and situated at each tasting. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was a blast to have along with us for the day...even danced along to our music :) I cannot recommend this service enough! 5 stars absolutely. Yes, we spent more to have a car bring us on a wine tour in Napa/Sonoma than when we go to the Finger Lakes region, but rent and cost of living is higher out in CA! We worked closely with Elisabeth to create an ambitious day long tour including 6 wineries and a picnic. We felt that she listened to our preferences for quality over quantity Our driver Roman was amazing. He shared lovely conversation and history about the wine region while driving safely and smoothly. He was also very good at keeping time to make sure we could make all the visits on our itinerary. After several stops, he figured out our style and rhythm and agreed to our request to visit a winery that was on our way but not on our list. At the end of the day, Roman was kind enough to drive us over to a wine shipping store so we could mail 12 bottles back to the East Coast. Overall, 5 star service, 5 star knowledge, 5 star experience! In this case, we really got what we paid for! On our last visit, we had tickets to a bus that included Muir Woods and tastings - they brought us to 2 higher quality places and 2 not so great places, along with like 30 other people. This wine tour experience with Beau was classy and comfortable without any pretentions. I would definitely recommend booking a car through Beau for folks who want a more private and personalized experience rather than the group bus tour experience. Icing on top: We always had ice cold water bottles in the backseat without us asking and Roman offered to hook up our phones for Pandora or whatever music we liked. read more

This was my second trip with Beau. the first one was for 12 women 4 years ago and this was a more intimate experience for just 4 of us (2 couples). We originally started our booking with Lindsay who was great and very helpful. She was able to locate my driver from last time - Chris - and told me he was promoted and no longer driving, but they both took the extra step and Chris planned this intimate couples experience for us. He also found a great driver in Phil who knows the area very well and was able to give us a lot of help with history and answering questions we had about wine making in general. We wanted an intimate experience at boutique family owned places, which is what we were given. One of our stops was also a food tasting, which was not our favorite part of the trip as the food wasn't enough for the day but we had been told it would be, only real hiccup. Phil was a great driver over all. He called me several days ahead to confirm everything and make sure that nothing special was needed. He showed up early to our pick so that we could go over the plan for the day, see what he brought with (water and a cooler), and show us how everything in the car worked. Our adventure started out where the first winery, Petroni, lost power right after we were picked up, but Phil and I decided that due to the gorgeous warm weather and the sunshine we could taste outside vs. in the cave and all turned out ok. I appreciated his enthusiasm and quick thinking. He also also told us that should it really be an issue when we got up the mountain, he would have a back up plan in place so we wouldn't lose out! We bought wine, joined the wine club and all were happy! The views at Petroni to start our day were also amazing as was the cave, and the WINE! The next stop Mayo Reserve Room was where we ate and also tasted wine. The food was delicious and our host has been with the family for 10+ years. As I mentioned above the food was not enough and I have been to Mayo before at their tasting room at a different location, which I preferred. Third stop was MacLeod and we very much enjoyed that experience. The owner told us about the history of the vineyard in the family, then took us into the vineyard to taste the wines hillside at a picnic table. She was very informative and we thoroughly enjoyed our time and the views! She also had extra galoshes for us ladies who were in open toed shoes and heels, so that we didn't ruin our shoes or fall! Our last stop was Robledo and we were able to meet one of the sons who took us through the family history and several of the wines. He was very gracious to us, especially since we showed up 45 mins to closing time, but we were still able to taste all the wines and joined the wine club! Take aways - bring some snacks on your tour and plan to eat a hearty sandwich. Beau will plan a stop off for you at a deli or market, but I've found the time is better spent tasting and buying wine and enjoying the views around you! Give them a call, they will be more than gracious and happy to make sure that you have the experience you need to have! read more

I had some issues with confirming my trip, so that was a slight frustration that was cleared up with a phone call and continued e-mails throughout the afternoon. Apparently, somehow my reservation slipped through the cracks. After that, everything was great! Cheri Ligotti was very helpful and responsive with getting my reservation confirmed! Our driver, Mark Lavezzo, was very punctual, informative, professional, polite, and a good driver. The sprinter van reserved for groups was very luxurious, and exceeded our expectations!! I've used Beau Wine Tours twice in the last 3 months - once for a large bachelorette party and another time for a romantic wine tasting trip with my husband. Elizabeth Fenn was such a huge help in planning both trips. She planned the perfect getaway for my husband and I, helped us choose wineries that were unique and fit our tastes well. She also gave us great advice about restaurants, where to stay, where to taste on our own, etc. I contacted her again to setup transportation for a bachelorette party I was planning. This trip was very different (12 girls) and we needed to stay within budget. There's a small fee for organizing the tastings/bookings, which I highly, highly recommend as she knows how much time is required in between tastings for transportation, etc. For this trip, she personally decorated the vehicle, had champagne delivered, setup the perfect inexpensive but classy day of tasting which all guests loved and coordinated lunch from Bouchon. Here are eight things that went awry: 1. Driver was 30 minutes late. 2. The first winery, which Linda selected, was closed upon our arrival. While they mentioned that it is impossible for drivers to know everything about every winery, we would expect that the driver would have checked out the first location which she selected. 3. She was not waiting for us upon completing our first tasting at Merry Edwards. Had to call her and we waited 10+ minutes for her to arrive. 4. She got lost on the way to two of the wineries. She muttered under her breath, "Please don't tell Georgia" placing us, the customers, in an uncomfortable position. 5. She was unable to use her IPhone for navigational purposes because she lost power. My sister-in-law lent her a car charger to recharge her phone. 6. She filled in our schedule with a suggestion of a trip to a champagne house. We declined as no one likes champagne. We went to Sonoma Cutrer instead only to find that it was closed. A second wasted trip. 7. The "food and wine pairing" experience was eaten at the Russian River Winery restaurant. She directed the staff that we were there for wine tasting when, in reality, we needed to each lunch. We walked back to the restaurant after Linda directed us to the back. 8. She did not have good control over the timing of the experience. In hindsight, we probably spent too much time at Gary Farrell which delayed us going to Benovia. We felt that that the pouring of the white wine flight was slow while at Gary Farrell. She could have advised the staff there about our timing which would have kept us on schedule. When we arrived at Benovia, Linda told us and the server that we had 10 minutes for the tasting in order to stay on schedule at which point I told her to cancel the next appointment. The Benovia Winery had been suggested to us by a Level III Somm. It was unfortunate that we could not take advantage of the special private appointment for wine and food pairings Linda had arranged for us. If any one (or even two or three) of these things had gone wrong, I doubt I would be writing this review. The trip did start out poorly and we all attempted to put the #1 and #2 experience behind us. However, it became almost laughable as additional mistakes and faux pas occurred. On the positive side, she did a great job matching wineries that produced wine suited to our taste and palate (except for the champagne suggestion). The wineries were beautiful and we would not have discovered them except for the tour. The tastings were sit down which greatly increased our comfort while tasting. Ultimately we had a pleasant day but certainly not what I expected. As the organizer of this day for my husband and his brother and wife, I was embarrassed about the experience. And chagrined to ask them to share in the expense. I calculate we wasted a minimum of one hour of the tour because of Linda's ineptitude. Because of my experience I would not recommend Beau Tours either professionally to my colleagues in MPI (and other hospitality associations) or personally. I sent this review to the owner before posting it on Yelp, giving her a chance to respond. Have received nothing back from them. read more

This company is completely unprofessional in the booking process. A woman called to start the booking by asking for a credit card number and said she'd email me the contract to review/sign. Before we completed the booking process or entered into a contract, I noticed 50% deposit already charged on my card. I did not consent to be charged yet. I specifically wanted to review the cancellation policy and contract as this was as COVID-19 restrictions were starting to ramp up. Shortly, a shelter in home was put in place therefore I did not move forward with signing the contract as legally Beau wine tours could not render services. I've called and emailed the company multiple times for almost A MONTH with NO RESPONSES. Extremely unprofessional to not contact a customer to initiate a refund when a business cannot render services. Such shocking behavior from a company with allegedly great reviews. Advice to other potential customers, ask for written documentation your card will not be charged until the contract is signed before giving them your payment information. read more

The tour ended up being very nice, however the road there was no picnic. I contacted the company about 10 months prior to my wedding to set up a tour for the day following the wedding. Throughout this time the itinerary changed about 5-6 times. It wasn't all their fault as the party was large and most wineries requires payment up front. The reason for my 3- star scores are as follows: 1. Prior to the wedding I was completely overwhelmed (as usual for the bride). I had a contact person at beau, however he obviously can't work round the clock. Anytime I tried calling and he was not available it was impossible to get any answers. The girls that work there are extremely rude! When I asked for anyone that can help I got no answers. How is it that a tour company has only one person doing all the work? If that is the case then just don't answer the phone!! 2. The driver was very friendly, however I felt as if I was the tour guide. He never gave us any timeline or information about any of the vineyards he was basically just the driver. 3. The next reason piggybacks on #2. The driver never gave us a time limit for any of the vineyards. I was basically responsible for corralling 40 people. This is the last thing I wanted to do when I just finished the wedding and all the associated events. Well at the end he sure did give me the bill for the 20 minutes we went over on his time! That was just ridiculous! 4. Finally I was a bit disappointed when I had signed up for a day of vineyard tours and only 1/3 was an actual tour. We schedule Benzinger (which was great!), Deer valley ranch (was mostly just tasting as the vineyard is very small) and the most expensive of the 3 Gloria Ferrer was the most disappointing! We were greeted by 2 young men who gave us a 5 minute history lesson about the vineyard and then refilled our glass 3 times, the bill was over $1300. Overall, if I can do it again I would just choose one of the companies that has a pre made schedule, knowledgeable driver, and a timeline to follow. This would have reduced much of my stress and also the price. Although I was not thrilled with the experience, I found Craig to be very helpful. read more

We planned a 6 hour day trip for visiting wineries and wine tastings. So Chris of Beau Wine Tours planned our day with visiting Ty Caton Winery. Wonderful wine maker and great host. Then we travelled to Bart Park winery to learn about organic grape growing and tasting their wines. Chris planned a great lunch at Glen Ellen Inn. The oysters were wonderful. Then we travelled to Deerfield Winery for a cave experience and our drive Mike had knowledge of each winery. Then we finished the day at Chateau St. Jean. Wonderful experience!! We had a large bachelorette party of 18 girls. VJ was our driver and he was the BEST!!!! So nice, and so accommodating. He even got there a little early so that my sister could decorate the bus and he even helped her!!! Like I said, the BEST! Our bus was loaded with champagne, water, and some soft drinks. I know when my sister booked she said the lady who helped her was so incredibly helpful to my sister during her vineyard decision making. I arranged a corporate wine tour and worked directly with Rose at Beau Wine Tours. She was incredible to work with. She recommend different winery to visit, but was completely open to suggestions. I ended up going with her recommendations and I have to admit that our tour turned out better than I had expected. We started out the tour at Landmark where there was lunch waiting for us, followed by wine tasting and a few games of bocci ball. The winery itself is so beautiful surrounded by vineyards and mountains. Just breath taking. Our next stop was at Kunde, excellent wine and an amazing experience to walk into the caves to taste wine directly out of the barrel. The was a sweet surprise for our group. Last stop was sparkling wine tasting at Domaine Carneros. Where the views were just incredible. Our driver Tim was an excellent driver and a pleasure to talk with. He was helpful in identifying how long we had at each stop. The best part he was OK, with our crew as we got a little loud as the day progressed. The Executive shuttle was spacious and clean. Our group had a fabulous experience using Beau Wine Tours and Limo Service on 11/13-11/14. We had a group of 7 couples and booked a 23 passenger Executive shuttle with our own itinerary of wineries planned for each day. Rose K. Was exceptional in booking our shuttles. She explained everything thoroughly and made the reservation process very easy. Donald Buxton was our driver the first day and Cary Riberdy the second. Both called beforehand to confirm pickup time and location. They were both on time and very professional. They took us to each of our wineries with no problems and stayed there until we were ready to leave. As you can imagine, 14 people after a few glasses of wine could become rowdy, but they were both friendly and patient throughout. We were able to play our own music and enjoy the ride. Unfortunately we did not experience the same 5* service as everyone else mentions. We booked Beau Wine Tours for our wedding shuttle transportation this year. To ensure we could fit the appropriate sized shuttles on the private driveway, we had one of their employees come to the site months in advance to check and approve that it would all work well. We ordered 2 of the same size shuttle, but come day of the wedding one of the two they brought was quite larger than what we had ordered. As a result, the larger shuttle inevitably had to turn around (with guests in it) after getting to the driveway. Guests had to get off wait for the other shuttle and get back on. All in all, our ceremony had to start later because everything slowed down quite a bit after that. Communication between us and Beau was bad too, I'd have to follow up 2 or 3 times and even call to get a response after we booked with them. I also called and left a voicemail a few days before the event just to check on any last minute details and never was contacted back, which could have prevented this all in the first place. I followed up after the wedding to see why we got 2 different sized shuttle, but have yet to get a reply....hence resorting to an online review. These guys may be great for wine tours and such, but I would not trust them again with an important event like a wedding. read more
