A boutique type hotel in the Vosges Mountain region - I was part of a group that visited WWII…read morebattle sites and we stayed in the hotel as a base of operations. A small hotel with "European" standards, the room was comfortable.
Pros:
* Great service, staff - room is comfortable with firm bed, small fridge, and hot water pot with instant coffee and tea
* Great breakfast in the morning - fresh bread (croissant, pastries, I ate too much), fruits, cold cuts, yogurt - typical European fare that will provide fuel for the day
* Bar in hotel - serves a variety of great French wine and decent selection of beer.
Cons:
* No clock so you will need to use your phone for your alarm
* There seems to be only two outlet to use to charge your devices - each are located under the lamps located next to the bed
In the resort village, there are many places to stay, if ever in the area again, I will stay in the property again.
