I recently had my Road Bike serviced by Tim for the first time, despite the fact I do not ride a Specialized.
I cannot stress how impressed I am by the level of service I was given and the quality of the bike service , and will be routing all my Mountain Bikes and Quaxing rides through Beasley's too in future.
I had snapped a Hanger on the weekend, and discovered how difficult getting a genuine spare could be once I started calling - but I got to Beasley's, and they gave me something the other couple of LBS's ( Local Bike Shop) didn't. They didn't give me "Nah, don't have one in stock" Fullstop. They helped me with solutions, so I made sure they got the business.
The bike needed a bit of love, it had been ridden fairly hard through winter. A few new replacement bits and a good lube & service later and it came back glistening, but more importantly quiet. Not a single rattle anywhere. Just the sound of rubber slicks on asphalt and a barely audible ticking of the chain over the rear cluster when scooting along the Footscray Bike Path.
The fact that nothing creaked, cracked, rattled, made undue noise, and things span, span and span and span when spun - my mind was blown with the great work they done. (Results may vary depending on bicycle).
My cable covers were rooted, what little there is of them these days, so was very happy when replacing them became an option. I got rid of White, and finally went Black.
So now not only does my bike feel great, it looks much better too. I got to fall in love with the bike all over again.
This is now my LBS and I couldn't be happier. Great knowledgeable staff who know what they're about, great quality of the servicing at a reasonable price point - worth every cent. read more
