We've been using Bears tires for over 30 years now, well before there was anything like Yelp or Google reviews.  I remember my father-in-law telling me about them years ago,  and I was doing the same today, recommending them to a friend,  when it occurred to me that a review was in order, so here it is: Bears Tires is local personable shop thats been around for 40+ years. Mike, the owner, has always taken good care of me, as has his entire crew.  His prices are great and he gets me in and out quickly and advises me well about my tires, what my choices are, and when and why they need to be replaced, and if they even need to be replaced at all.  You may be thinking "of course he advises you, it's a tire shop"  but he really gives you the straight scoop and not a bunch of corporate jargon that you might get at a discount tire shop.  There's a lot to be said for dealing with somebody who has a lifetime of experience in the industry as opposed to somebody who's only worked at a shop for a couple years.  I guarantee once you try them you'll never go anywhere else. read more

I woke up on Saturday to a flat tire (0 psi), my lease didn't include a spare or sealant/inflator. I was able to air-up and drive right to Bear's, they got me right-in and showed me (1) it was a puncture in the tread (2) where it had already been previously patched and couldn't again. I hadn't been a fan of the stock tires, a replacement had to be ordered and was expensive for what it was. Jared recommended a set of Hancook Ions that are supposed to ride better for heavier EV/PHEVs - I have looked online at highly rated replacements and these had popped several times - they were 2/3 the cost per tire of the stock. They were no pressure, aired up my tire and sent me on my way. I looked at reviews one more time and prices: all options were priced like Tire Rack with custom service as-good or better than Costco (which is having a run on popular 21" tires atm). Called Bear's back that Saturday afternoon to order the Ions, got a call Monday they were in, let the car by 11am and picked it up by 1pm. Went to Bear's Tire for a 4-wheel alignment on my Model 3, other shops we're quoting me $170+ which is pretty ridiculous. The appointment was easy to set up over the phone, every interaction I had with the staff here was very pleasant. I asked how the alignment specs looked upon pick up and the staff explained how the alignment before was behaving and what they had corrected. You have to come to these guys...they have helped me before w my trailer tires and then today i blew a tire and stopped at 2 shops that was close to me and they told me I had to replace the tire. I asked around to shops in the area with Bear's giving me the utmost best quote to get the Nitto Grapplers mounted onto the Subie w/ stock wheels. It was an easy decision from there to revisit my tried and true. Even though I had asked for an alignment, the team verified whether or not my car actually needed it (it did and I knew it did because of reasons...). Transparency at its finest. was told it would be a 2 hour wait due to most of the staff being at a wedding (on a Monday) I needed my tire patched so I decided to wait. after waiting over an hour the sales guy was trying to tell me my tire was too worn (camber wear) even though there's still plenty of visible tread life left. then I was told that it's too much of a liability to even mount the wheel/tire to the machine to test for air leaks. if I haven't been building cars from the ground up for over a decade I would've probly bought new tires (women plz don't get taken advantage of here). long story short they took almost 2 hours and couldn't even patch a tire. clown show read more

I just learned that Bear's tires does alignments. I've gone to Bear's tires in the past and they offered great deals on quality used tires. They are well known for their quality tire services. I needed an alignment so I looked on Yelp and saw some reviewers had an alignment done at Bear's tires. The cost was competitive to other shops at 80 bucks for a 4 wheel alignment for my camry. The overall combined wait and service time was long though at 3 hours on a Saturday walk in. Reservations are available but I did not reserve in time. I was ready to head to another shop that only required an hour to complete the work but I was at Bear's already and I trust their work based on past experience. Bear's Tires completed the alignment and gave me a printout of my alignment specs showing the before and after. They got the alignment corrected and my car drives straight now. Damaged Tire was fixed by this wonderful company at no cost. I went in asking for a new tire ( after my husband drove over this metal hook on the road) but they suggested to try to fix it because since I bought it from them it has a warranty... fixed it like new!! I don't normally do reviews for tire shops but I have to say this place is doing good business. They were very responsive, extremely polite and helpful on the phone. Polite staff working there. Really good pricing on tires. Atleast for corolla. Pretty quick. No hiccups since I got my tires. Also when your there they have a small waiting area. I liked that when I got there that they gave me a window time and also let me know how many cars were ahead of me. I will definitely be doing business here again. I also liked how one of the guys through in the detail about every 5000 miles rotate the tires because the front tires take the most wear and it helps preserve the life of the tire and will make all the difference. I was dreading the fact that I had to replace all four of my tires on my Fiat 500L car.
