Was excited to check this place out and felt that it didn't live up to the buzz unfortunately. Upon arrival, it was very crowded but organized- able to order and find a table right away. Seems that it's a popular spot as many individuals were coming in and out. The place is very cozy and cute, the service is also efficient- they did let us know that the food will take about 20 minutes to come out. The prices are high but it's a mountain town so did not expect anything less. We got a latte and a matcha and the matcha did not have much flavor to it which was kind of disappointing. We then ordered the breakfast sandwich and bagel and both were good but nothing crazy. Lastly we got a cookie that looked delicious but it was unfortunately very burnt. We initially stopped in for a quick coffee, however were soon overwhelmed and intrigued by basically every item on the menu and on display. Big fan of this spot for the vibes and sweet folks that work here in particular. B&B is wonderfully decorated with a lighter, airy feel enhanced with vibrant house plants. You might want to hang out or work here all day! Be warned though, this place is POPULAR so depending on the time of year and time of day, you might be throwing elbows for a table spot. But even if you're just grabbing to go, this is one of my favorite spots in Steamboat. Make sure you try the Spicy Nice (Aztec mocha) and whatever their quiche of the day is (spoiler alert: it's always delicious). read more

Great coffee and even better food. The baked goods are baked fresh every morning and they are super impressive. We got an Americano and tried the raspberry scone, butter croissant, prosciutto and swiss cheese croissant, and cardamom twist. Each item was exceptional. Scone was on the sweeter side, which is how I prefer it. Prosciutto and swiss cheese croissant was quite salty, but not too salty for me. Bad for my health, but thoroughly enjoyable for my taste. Butter croissant is a clear winner with buttery taste, flaky exterior, and honeycomb, separated layers pattern inside. Fast and friendly service with a bright and clean space and cute decor rounds out an all around excellent experience. read more

Very excited to have this adorable coffee shop here in town! It's so bright and light inside. There is plentiful seating, I think I counted 10 tables. Great options for coffee, tea, lemonade or hot cocoa for the kiddos. Yummy baked goods. The only thing I would love is some heartier options, we were there around lunch and a light sandwich, wrap/burrito or salad would have been the topper! Also, would love hours past 5. Food: best quiche I have EVER had. Smooth, creamy, and with dollops of pesto to brighten and lighten. Coffee: an excellent cortado with the right ratio of coffee to milk. I come here every year. This year I brought friends. We all came multiple times this trip. Two days ago was great. We go two times a day. Nice service. Always god food . Today was not. The person working the front was not exactly pleasant. I asked very distinctly for no cream cheese or chili flakes on my kids bagel... she said no problem... the food came and it was exactly opposite of what I asked for. I never make a big deal of these things bc I have worked in many restaurants. I peeled off the flakes... and hoped they would eat the cream cheese... which they didn't really. I didn't ask for refund. Just said the order was wrong but we'll make it work. Came back later for a chai... asked for coconut milk... watched as the same woman as earlier... poured oat milk into the chai. I said "oh wait, I said coconut milk. Def not oat milk" and she looked me straight in the eyes and said ..."oh this is coconut milk" as I saw the oatly box in her hands. I literally watched her pour it in. So unless they pour the coconut milk into oatly boxes... which would also be a negative... she just was annoyed with me and wanted me to eff off. I couldn't drink my chai ... I wouldn't bc oat milk is nasty and poison. I even googled "does oatly make coconut milk"... that is how flabbergasted I was that she was telling me she gave me coconut milk... I left the place angry but also so confused as to why she would think I'm such an idiot. Wasted lots of money here today. So I think I will give the place a break... really sad but today was a big miss. I just felt like I was annoying this person by spending money. I know it's annoying to make modifications to stuff. But asking for no chili flakes didn't seem insane to me. Anyways. This maybe was a weird day? My breakfast sandwich is always great and so is my cappuccino. Staff is usually great. read more
