Obviously, the water pump was kaput. A friend recommended that I called Chuy's, and unbelievably, a repairman came out to the house within an hour of my call !! He was quite personable, and obviously knew what he was doing. He pulled the sheet metal off the washer and showed me the leaking water pump. He went out to his absolutely enormous white Mercedes Benz van to look for a replacement pump. My machine is fairly old, and he didn't find the exact replacement pump. Since it was Friday, he offered to put a temporary pump on the machine, to give me weekend use. I declined, since that was unnecessary. He offered to come back Monday and install a new pump, costing $65. He said he would charge $70 total for the service calls. Sure enough, he called in the early afternoon Monday, and said he was on the way with the new pump. He installed it in minutes and reassembled and tested the washer. Interestingly, he showed me what ruined the old pump: A kitchen sink sponge that we usually wash and reuse. It had somehow snuck under the agitator and got caught in the pump, burning it out, and causing a leak. The pump came with a warranty as did the labor. I wrote a check for $135, and placed Chuy's card with my keepers. Also resolved to just throw away the old sponges.

The only issue was that the timer doesn't work. We weren't sure if the clothes were drying before the timer went off but after the 3rd day of using it, we left in the morning to run errands for a few hours while drying clothes for 30mins and when we returned home later that after noon the dryer was still running. I do recall the sales lady highly recommended the Roper dryer while I was interested in other dryers. But of course she swindle me into purchasing the Roper to which I should have returned within the 7day refund policy. Timer may not be a big deal but As a mother of two, full time student, and full time job, the timer would help a lot so the clothes don't burn or shrink or increase my gas bill.

I paid him, he ordered the part to be installed 5/3/21. 5 days later the tenant using the fridge informs me it's still leaking, I call 5/12 multiple times with no answer, I email no answer. I was able to get him on the phone 5/13, and he went to check fridge for same issue 5/14. He claimed there was a piece of foam stuck in a hose causing the leak, but that he removed it and all is well now. Well the very next day, I talk to the tenant and she says the fridge is still leaking. And Juan advised her to call him if there are any issues. This bothered me, Bc the tenant is NOT the paying customer. I PAID and I am having a hard time reaching him. Long story short 6/13, I have the same Problem with the fridge. With no response from Dr Appliances. It's extremely frustrating, I am being strung along so the warranty will end up void and he won't be responsible anymore.
