The last Bealls Outlet I had been to was the one in Boca Raton, which I thought was better. But this location wasn't bad. We went a couple days after Christmas so there was mostly holiday clearance. The line was long but moved pretty quickly. As as far merchandise, nothing special, but okay especially in the handbag section. I've been visiting a number of these outlets looking to find a few things I'd previously bought in one of their stores. Since I'd already been to a few outlets on the east coast of Florida, I figured I'd try one while in Cape Coral. I've been hoping that they might have "old" stock. This store looked fairly new. It was in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. And there were people streaming into the store. Inside it was already quite busy. I wondered if there was some type of special discount going on. And there was a very long line for the checkout, as well. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for... nor anything like it. But I'm glad I came. Now I know. And won't be wondering that I missed something. read more

NOTE: NOTE: There is both a Bealls and a Bealls Outlet in the Coralwood Shopping Center. They are completely separate stores! This review is for the Bealls Outlet. There are some bargains here but the shopping experience is just okay. Certainly compared to the Beall's across the mall, it's not nearly as nice. It felt a bit like a Burlington Coat Factory crossed with Marshall's and then rounded down. Very meh. Selection is limited and hit-or-miss. I did not see anything here that jumped off the racks and said "Buy me." read more

I've been in here a few time now and you do have to search for the bargains but they can be found. I've been particularly lucky with men's shorts and shirts for my son. Woman's clothing can be hit or miss as is with most other departments including household etc., The aisles could use some cleaning and the store does at times look as if a toddler ran around rearranging things (maybe one had) but all in all if your willing to put in some time this little outlet is worth exploring. read more

Prices can be good but assortment is very limited in t shirts, no graphic tees. The underwear area is a free for all. Staff is pleasant and they have a rewards type club with special perks certain weekdays. read more

I shop here quite often when looking to fill in minor fun pieces to my wardrobe like socks, bathing suits, workout wear, pjs, robes, and fun accessories and sunglasses. Generally their prices are competitive with other local off price shops like TJ Maxx and Marshall's, etc. The cashier today must have been having an incredibly bad day as she was rude from the moment I walked in. I have a damaged shoulder and have difficulty even with easy doors. The doors here do not open automatically and I was trying to get a cart thru. Rather than help me, she stood and watched, and when I mentioned the cart had a broken wheel, she shrugged and informed to go back outside and place it back on the pavement!! Hmmm. Why didn't she do that for me. She was literally just standing there doing nothing and saw me struggle with it!! Next I poked around and the store was literally a mess. Nothing was in the right place. Everything I picked up on a hanger with my size noted was actually incorrect. One or two things wouldn't have been a big deal, but this was a colossal mess. I gave up. I did find a cute cup and brought it to the register. I explained how my $5 rewards bonus expired because they issued it to me during the holidays and it expired at the end of January but then I was not here during that period in which to use it and was there anything that could be done since it was during holiday season (and I was sent out of town for medical treatment). She wouldn't even ask anyone. She just said TOUGH. Yup, tough. The lady behind me gasped!! Then she incorrectly counted my change because my pennies through her off so se could give me back a nickel and she had to use a calculator even tho I told her the amount due, and I swore this was last time shopping here. You don't need to be exceptionally smart to work in a retail establishment, but a smile, a decent attitude and good manners really will take you a long way. read more

I visited this location for the first time yesterday and had a decent experience. The atmosphere is much like a TJ Maxx or Marshall's--not fancy, just lower prices than you'd pay at the regular store. They have an EXCELLENT selection of jewelry that's very competitively priced, especially earrings and necklaces; much of it is name brand (though most still costume jewelry as opposed to precious metals, though there were some of the latter at about $13 for earrings). The same goes for handbags/purses--huge selection of many different styles for all seasons, though not AS competitively priced as the jewelry (most were $30-40). Also be sure to check out the clearance rack on the back side of the last row of handbags--there are some great deals to be had! Immediately past this are sunglasses--again, a decent selection, averaging about $6/pair for plastic and metal frames--and a limited selection of bath and body products (didn't look closely at these). I also shopped in Juniors' clothing, which I found to be of very limited selection, picked over, and not having many great deals (lots of thin cover-up tops for $13). There was a much broader selection in Medium, Large, and X-Large sizes, so maybe others would have a decent experience. One thing I really didn't like was that I felt like I was being overly & suspiciously watched from the minute I set foot inside the door, especially by an older female cashier with a strong Southern dialect. I didn't receive a greeting like the other customers, and I noticed her continually turning around and looking at me, especially while I was shopping in Jewelry. I'll be 30 this year but I guess I look young; either way, customers should be treated with more respect than I received from this lady, regardless of age. All in all, if you're shopping for accessories or Medium or Large-sized Juniors' clothing, you may hit the jackpot, but watch out for being treated like a criminal from the moment you walk in. It's a question as to whether the pros outweigh the cons here. read more

Hassle not worth the discount. I live nearby and have NEVER had a good experience checking out at Bealls Outlet. Employees are perhaps being trained, perhaps poorly trained and perhaps unfamiliar with Bealls Outlet computer system and customer card? It appears that discounts are not clear to the employees or customers. Today I had to drive back with my $7 receipt to have a theft device taken off a swim suit top. DONE WITH BEALLS. read more
