Plenty of parking in the plaza parking lot. I particularly like this HomeGoods for its variety - I purchased some melamine trays (and plates that I use as trays) in some fun patterns. There were so many patterns that I liked that it was difficult to choose, and then I returned for more later on. There is a long line of cashiers and although the checkout line can be long during holiday seasons, this location is excellent for its out of the wayness!

I tried on a few things. One blouse I wanted to purchase I had to order because they did not have it in the color I wanted. The saleslady asked me to wait while she was helping someone else. It seemed they were short handed. I was glad to see some holiday sets already out. They have a lot of good hair tools and hair products. I don't come to this location too often but it is always a nice experience when I do.

The store is not particularly huge, but I have bought luggage, purses, sunglasses, home decor, and plenty of clothing here. I do get caught in the random things in the checkout aisle, and I have to be firm not to keep grabbing things on the way out. There are usually several checkout cashiers available in the long checkout counter. The changing rooms are sub par, but that is pretty standard. I have found some fun Betsey Johnson jewelry here, and a lovely linen swimsuit cover.

He was extremely friendly and helpful. My purchase included a men's sample kit that included quite a few vials of different colognes and some skin products. (By the way it was an awesome little kit with a great variety of products for only $15) When I finished my transaction Martin informed me of an opportunity to get a free facial. I've had a couple in the past and figured- what the heck...us guys need to look good too Martin walked me over to the Chanel counter and introduced me to Lana. She was super nice and I was able to schedule an appointment for today at 1 pm. PHENOMENAL is the best way to describe it!!! I had to remind myself that I was at Dillard's throughout the 50 mins or so session because I felt like I was in a 5 star spa. Lana was very knowledgeable and provided some great insights on my specific skin type and how to keep it looking great. The session and overall experience with Lana was truly spectacular! I rushed over arriving around 8:15 PM when they have a 9 PM closing time. Due to it being so close to closing, there was only one set of doors that were working. I was politely greeted when I entered the store. There was a handful of guests in the store, wrapping up their purchases and asking questions. I was pleasantly surprised to see that swimwear was right at the entrance so I did not have to anxiously run around looking for the specific department I needed. I was looking for an athletic wear type of swim set (a top and shorts) and Kohl's offers a variety at different price points. They have a cute variety of Nike sets that are a bit on the pricier side. The store was fairly clean for it to be closing time. As I quickly (and maybe frantically due to time) scoured the clearance racks I had no issue locating correct sizes where they should be. Prices were clearly labeled on all items. Signage was easy to identify and navigate. I did try on a few items in the fitting room after gathering a few options. The fitting room was pretty clean. My check out experience was swift. Kohls is definitely a store I sleep on often but I've seen so many deals via email/social media lately I need to put it into my weekend shopping rotation.

Sephora is a third of the other locations. Understaffed ghost town. Shelves are messy, less selection compared to other Kohls. Items were marked wrong. However, while the neighboring TJMaxx is usually clean and well organized, for some reason this Ross is not the same. It usually has less staff than the TJMaxx, which may account for this. They do have a decent selection of children's clothing, though, and this is where I find affordable collared shirts for my kids. I found teal shirts with little dinosaurs on them once, and was able to get 1 in both of my kids' sizes so they match. They also have a large amount of kids shoes, although this is a hit or miss mostly, as sometimes the marked down shoes are kind of expensive. The plus size women's and the women's dresses section are robust. Since it is practically next door to TJMaxx, I really never go to one without hitting the other one as well. Why not?!
