I especially like that it's a ranch style apartment with a patio area and a small yard, and it has a laundry room that can accommodate a full-size washer and dryer - major bonus for apartments in this area. Best of all, the neighbors are quiet and friendly, and the management is excellent - friendly, efficient and immediately responsive to any maintenance requests, which have only been minor so far. There's also ample parking and because this is an older apartment complex, the trees and landscaping make it feel like you're living in a mature neighborhood that's been well-maintained.

Maintenance staff is more focused on making the vacant units barely livable to fix the ones with…read moreactual tenants. My a/c has been broken for almost 2 years now. Dish washer doesn't drain. Submitted tickets for both and no one was even in the office to confirm the status of my maintenance orders. But they're always there trying to lure new sucker's into dumping over a grand a month into this dumpster fire of an apartment complex. They also falsely advertised having a pool and proving washer and dryer. There is no pool access and I've had to go to Splash to wash my clothes. I would rather live in a refrigerator box than in this pit of depression again.

Second red flag, October 6, 2023 the lock on my unit literally disintegrated in my hand. Called the after hours maintenance number and waited for someone to come fix it. Had to go buy my OWN deadbolt to fix it at 9pm that night because NOONE came or called to replace it. I left messages on the answering machine asking if they wanted a copy of the key and reimburse me for the lock. 10 days later I was told maintenance was going to fix it!! And by fix it they took the one I bought out and replaced it with a used one they had. Third red flag, I signed up for auto rent drafts received multiple late fees due to miss charge of rent. Received an eviction letter posted in the portal for $10.00. Called several times and told it was a "glitch" and it would be taken care of and if it happens again to call the office and "I'll take care of it". Received an eviction on my door, since that is how they communicate. Since I had called multiple times and left numerous messages with no response I took the day off work to physically go into the office and speak to someone. Sarah apologize and essentially threw money at it to make it all go away. Final red flag, my AC unit has been out since May 22 of 2024. Multiple emails, left numerous messages on the office phone, called their headquarters and left messages. I have been told, short staffed, maintenance person quit, I will bring it up in the meeting, blah blah blah. This place is bad, overgrown trees bushes and vines, broken privacy fences, un mowed grass, broken washer and dryers, piles of dead trees and limbs. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

There is also a small refrigerator in each room. Monthly rent includes heat, electricity, water, cable and three meals a day.The tenants also get a medic alert pendant in case they have a medical emergency. This is not a nursing home, but it provides a nice place for seniors of modest means. There is a community room for group activities and a dining room. The food is excellent and gives you two choices for your main meal. Staff is courteous. There is also a coin laundry on premises. Tenants need to be 55+ and of limited income before being approved. Those who are able to walk can go to town or use a shuttle with scheduled stops.
