AFTER they placed my knee back in, he said I was right, because it took them THREE tries. Guess what, the NURSE did it twice, and then HE did it. LEARN YOUR SHIT PEOPLE.

I can't say enough about the care he received at Franciscan Beacon Hospital from nurses Jill and Jami and Dr. Alex Palma. The doctor knew the injury needed sutures and he recognized his patient may be a little difficult in the numbing process. He ordered a lidocaine-type topical which totally numbed the area without any "shots". Dr. Palma settled his patient down with his calm demeanor and honesty. He assured his patient that he would show and tell him everything he needs to do prior to starting each process. The staff managed to keep all of us calm. I had a great experience with Irene Torres. I got bit by a dog just above my lip. I had to get 7…read morestitches. I was very worried about getting them taken out because I know it can be very painful because I knew how tight the stitches were and how sensitive the area was. I went in to get them removed, and she told me originally to wait another day or two, but when I told her how concerned I was about who did it, she called me back to tell me that she had contacted the other NP that would be there that day to ask her how she felt about removing the stitches, and she didn't feel comfortable doing it. Irene researched the amount of time needed to leave the stitches in to make sure it would be ok to remove them that day, and said that I would be fine to come back that day while she was there. It showed how much she truly cares about her patients. She did an excellent job with the removal, and I had very little pain. I was so relieved to have them out, and it's still healing up nicely. Irene has years of experience, is very kind and does a great job. CVS is lucky to have her! Thanks again!

After a few tries she was able to get a vein. All 3 of these ladies deserve a shout out. It's because of these people I choose to drive further to a awesomeness hospital.

BUT, I got a bill from the Dr, 5 week's later for money they say I owed. Even after I OVERPAID them when I checked in! Turns out? They never even sent the claim in for the date that it was read by the Dr for my echo. I've spent 2 day's being told to call here & call there & I'm a senior citizen on a limited income! I could not match up that Dr's name to anything I received from.my insurance company! If they are doing this to thousands of Senior's Citizens, stealing money from them? Do you think that's right???? To anyone with insurance? Do you think that's fair? I don't. That's flat out stealing & stealing from a Senior's Citizen is a FELONY! The Drs seem to be great diagnosticians and will give you more answers and treatments than any area ER (in our experience) Sometimes there was a bit of a wait (like when we got her back xray) but I expect that being a small location. Im just super glad they offer that service there at all as opposed to going to the ER. Weve seen 3 different doctors there and they were all women who listened when my daughter advocated for herself/I advocated/explained for her and even gave some tips on a possible underlying issue to look into with her PCP. everyone is friendly and I can tell they genuinely enjoy working there. My daughter is especially more comfortable there because they seem to have mostly (if not all) female providers. You can always follow up on your care with a phone call to ask questions or gain clarification vs. making another appointment! Highly recommend!

I called multiple times as advised by my insurance company for their incorrect status coding and she refused to help me or connect me with anyone that could. All their other billing customer service representatives speak with a thick accent and are not trained properly. Unless you want dishonest, extra charges do not go here.
