If you are liberal leaning, LGBT, a person of color, or belong to any other minority group, this firm IS NOT the firm for you. We take this opportunity to warn our fellow minorities that these folks will smile in your face and stab you in the back. We spent hours and days on a deal only to have it fall thru. Laurie Rushing then contacted me directly ( which violates the Relators ethics as we were represented by another firm and agent) and belittled me via text messages. Again, please review my other reviews and you will see that most are overwhelmingly positive, so I am not a negative ned.....These people really are TOXIC towards anyone who does not fit their twisted mold. Save your money, as the home you are purchasing or selling is most likely your biggest investment. Spend your money with people who appreciate you and can at least show some decorum of respect towards you. Lake Hamilton Realty and Kayla Ross are some good options, it worked well for us.

If you want to watch Netflix be sure to try to download a show in the morning - which might or might not work. That said the condos are laid out well, but everything in it is at least 30 years old. However, the beds are comfortable and the view is lovely. The biggest draw is there are a lot of family-friendly amenities. The pool is really nice, with a very large shallow area for kids and a good hot tub. There is a small beach with a shady area next to it where you can watch your kiddos, a basketball court, shuffle board, tennis, volleyball. There are rowboats and paddle boats (although they may be in disrepair), and single-person kayaks. There is also a game room in the office building with ping-pong and other games, as well as DVDs you can check out to use in your room. It's all very family-oriented, and the staff is quite nice. Keep in mind this is not a hotel, so their office closes at 5pm.

However, beware of units that have been virtually abandoned to management companies. My husband did not notice that there were no current reviews. Last one 2018. Should have been a red flag. I always try to be as generous as possible. The SINGLE redeeming feature of this unit is a lovely view. As I type this review, ALL the bedding, including pillows, is in the laundry. This unit is run down, lighting is horrid and an unmatched pair of bedroom lamps are held together with twist ties, as the harp is bent and the shade cannot be straightened. The fan fixture light does not work. The three light bathroom fixture has a chandelier bulb in the middle! One of the two track lights over the table doesn't work. A console table has a broken glass insert and strangely has two chairs pushed up to it to serve as eating space? The ancient electric stove has food encrusted, greasy burner liners. If not replaced, at least burner plates and rings could be replaced. Sink lighting is terrible with a single dim spot but a linear fluorescent fixture has been added. Furniture is dated, overstuffed pieces that are soiled et worn. A fireplace has ashes in the grate so guess it burns wood? Kitchen is so poorly furnished. One would be hard pressed to do anything besides microwave an egg in a mug or make a sandwich. Cobwebs greet you at the front door, adorn most every corner all the way to the balcony sliders which desperately need cleaning. The second floor deck space has a table & two chairs. Good thing, we don't have to stay inside. This unit's exterior needs to be pressure washed and the inside repairs made, upholstery cleaned, bedding upgraded (like pillow covers that can be washed) walls cleaned and painted, inside of closets drawers cleaned, painted liner placed & organized. Glad I brought plastic ware. Dirty flatware in dirty drawer organizer. FYI, instructions for guests direct you to replace any extra blankets or pillows 'in original location', which is on a cardboard BOX in the closet - which means they aren't laundered between guests. Need I say more? I have dozens of photos, just because it is inconceivable to me that this place is rental property. Oh, and pages have been 'removed' from the guest book. Hmmm!

We rented a fairly expensive two bedroom condo on the second floor at "Waters Edge". It has an elevator so that 96 year old Grandmom could be comfortable. Because we live in Dallas, and parking lots are clearly labeled tow-away if there are restrictions, we paid attention when we arrived to be sure we were not parking in a tow away zone. We did not notice the subtly painted numbers over the covered spaces, however, since most of the spaces were empty when we arrived, and, as I said, there were no "No Parking Signs" or "Tow Away" signs. There was also no mention of parking restrictions on the rental agreement which Will had emailed to us. Imagine our surprise when we took our bags down to load the car on the 26th and found it gone. A note in the parking space said a tow company had taken it and would charge $250 to give it back. When I called Will to ask for help, his only response was, "Well, I'm not paying the towing fee. Didn't you see the number on the parking space? Well, no, we didn't see the number (about 2-3 inches high and painted the same color as the parking shed) for the reasons mentioned above. Even if we had seen the number, we might not have figured out that a particular space was ours since it wasn't mentioned in the rental agreement. My guess is that the rental agreement has now been updated to explain parking, but that won't help us, will it, Will? Too bad. We had once enjoyed doing business with Hamilton Shores.

This is a really good spot for the price, location and views! We were impressed at how clean the…read moreproperty was, as well as the unit itself. We had a waterfront cabin that had its own deck. The deck was brand new, and furniture was clean and included an umbrella. Check in was easy and done though a keypad lock system. No issues! Loved that there were curtains over all windows for extra privacy. New vinyl hardwood floors throughout the unit and fresh paint. Comfortable sitting area with throw blankets. Inside the unit, there was ample towels provided, as well as beach towels which was a nice touch! It is stocked with kitchen pots, pans, knives, ice tray, plates and cups. There is a microwave and stove as well. Air conditioning worked wonderfully which is essential for those hot summers. You can swim and fish on the property and they have a dock. The only things to note was we wished there were some lounge chairs outside and that the shower was a little bigger. If you are broad shouldered it is very challenging to fit comfortably in the shower. Additionally, there is only one mirror in the bathroom, another mirror elsewhere would've been helpful so one can get ready while another showers. We would definitely come back! It is only 10-12 minutes from downtown.

This place has become my home away from home. It is my happy place and I cannot recommend it…read moreenough. The views and the service are bar none. While the cottages are older, they are clean and well appointed. I have wanted for nothing on any of my several visits. The only drawback is that by leaving this review, you might reserve Cabin #4 on a weekend I want it!
