A nice place for a family outing! Before you balk at the prices, this includes the corn maze as well as many other fun outdoor activities for kids, and the "extreme hayride." Met up with some family for a corn maze. I was not prepared for there to be a whole lore that went with it, introductory video and all. In 2025, the theme was a "Lego" world thing with us having to find the golden brick before the bad guy. I thought the video was cheesy, but my 5yo Child #2 was into it - "We gotta find the golden brick!" So, okay. The corn maze is pretty manageable, with different colored sections and a few landmarks to check off your list. I think it would be nice if there were stamps or something unique to finding them (other than being able to just tick off what you want). Each section seemed to get progressively more challenging - we got looped around a few times! A very nice plus - each new section has cold water stations so you can stay hydrated. It's labeled as accessible, but make sure your stroller or wheelchair has some shock absorbers - it's not always the smoothest of paths. I wouldn't take an umbrella stroller in here, for example. That said, Child #3 didn't seem to mind the bumps. In area around the maze, there are fun games to play, including football and baseball targets, a large slide (which is corrugated, so a little bumpy), and inflated obstacle course. There are also a few playground areas, including a pebble box (think sand box) with toys. All three of my kids enjoyed that one. The extreme hayride was fun. I thought "extreme" meant some sort of extremely spooky area we'd see, but no. The driver took us at various speeds up and down hills so that everyone in the back would slide all over the place, much to the delight of the preteens in the back with us. You will slide around and bump into people, but nothing too rough. Just be prepared for that. There are port a potties with sinks and sanitizer. There is a changing table for babies. Your entry gets you access to all of this so overall, pretty fair. CASH is king - so if you want to avoid the 2% service fee for a card, pay with cash, though they do accept cards. There is a concession stand with some very basic offerings. We got some pretzels and cider to tide us over before we left. As night fell, they lit a big bonfire for people to sit around and enjoy. We came here as two families and had a really great time. There are a number of activities to do before going into the corn maze that all the kids enjoyed. They do need to repair and expand the duck races though. The corn maze itself is amazing and a lot of fun. We highly recommend it. But not for toddlers. read more

The big black slide called "The mountain slide" has a mat at the bottom with big bolts in it, resulted in an injury. Could've been much worse for a smaller child. $120 bucks for 6 people and you're better off going to a regular free park. 2 small playgrounds only really including a slide. Could hardly keep my toddler occupied. Lazy staff, just a bunch of teenagers huddled up talking to each other. read more

Kids belong outdoors, and Beachmont gets them outdoors! Even the childcare is outdoor play-based. Great programs, caring staff.

Came here for the first time on Friday 10.11.19 in a group of 4 kids and 3 adults. Apparently each year they have a theme and this year was Toy Story. Admission was $12 each and included 1 hayride ticket and a wristband for the maze and other attractions, such as bounce house, bonfire, football throwing game, etc. There is a concession stand but we didn't eat. I was a little worried about whether or not the kids would have fun (two 14 year olds, an 11 year old, and an almost 11 year old), but they had a blast. The maze was great at night and I loved the backstory of Mrs. Potato head losing her parts and our mission was to find them. The maze took us about an hour and a half lol, I guess we're slow! But it was great. I definitely will come back next year but I'll get there earlier so we can do more activities. Didn't realize the maze would take so long. But it was worth it! read more

Living in Maryland for over 6yrs, Halloween Corn Mazes have become our Annual Tradition. This year, we created a quest to try all of the Corn Mazes in our area, in which we discovered Beachmont. Excited by the Dr. Who theme, we selected their location as our first maze of the season. We wanted to ensure, with the pandemic, protocols were in place, so we thoroughly read through their policies and protocols for ensuring social distancing safety. We pre-purchased our ticket online, read over mask requirements, hand-sanitizing stations, distance precautions, and embarked on our adventure. Arriving, Friday night around 7:00pm, there was a fair crowd gathered waiting in line. There are were loads of attractions to try including the maze, bounce house, bonfire, sports throw the ball games, a concession stand and a hayride. Immediately upon being ushered into the 'activity area' we were nervous about partaking. It seems the 'precautions' were established but nobody cared about them being followed. Large groups running around without masks on, no sanitizer at the various activities in which everyone was touching the same items, and worse staff were actively encouraging people to 'squeeze together' in line forming areas. Staff also seemed to 'pick the wrong battles' they yelled at a teen for crossing under a rope, but for not not-wearing a mask, or two girls who waited their entire time in line weren't allowed to enter the maze without an adult, but an entire group of kids blatantly cut the lines because nobody felt like dealing with rowdy teenagers being pushy. Once in the maze, we figured we would be able to space ourselves out some, but nope. The way they created their bottle-neck system of allowing groups in really created a maze experience where you will actively be squished into groups. As if this wasn't frustrating enough for trying to guide yourself through the maze, they had staff walking throughout the maze and on three various accounts staff just blatantly told us 'go that way' without us asking. It all felt less of a maze adventure and more as the worst walk of our lives. I would blame the crowds and individual people for ruining the experience, but I do feel staff could have done a lot to create a different experience, this was just all pure chaos, where they obviously just packed as many people in for money without really thinking about 1. Safety in the current times 2. General fun experience. read more

This used to be a great evening in a fun environment. Tonight was over run with unsupervised teens and younger children. Staff nowhere in sight - teens were throwing one anither into the corn and destroying the maze. We left the maze because they ruined the experience. We sat by the fire and watched a kid who look about 3 plying in he fire with some slightly older kids. No staff - no adults. We tried to play games / but they were over run but trans goof on off - playing around - not playing games correctly. After many great years of attending - this will be the last. :( read more

This was our first year going. We ended up her after another one we were trying to get into was full and not letting anyone else in at the time. So we took a 45 minute ride and it was well worth it. We had so much fun it was an amazingly good time I definitely will do next year. read more

We decided to give this corn maze a try because it was nice and close. We took three middle school aged children. As well as three elementary aged kids. They all had a ball. Which is sometimes hard to find things to entertain the middle schoolers because they're too cool for fun. The corn maze was awesome! The extreme hay ride was extreme and a ball. I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt and there was hay everywhere. There is a pumpkin patch but we didn't do that...the concession stand is reasonably priced. The kids all enjoyed the inflatable obstacle course and the tire tower. We had planned to be there about an hour or two, we spent 3 1/2 hours and only left because we had evening plans. Can definitely see coming back next season...would love to try the corn maze by flashlight. read more

For two years in a row my daughters school has had a field trip here. All the staff are very nice and they even have a concession stand to get food. The issue that I have with never going back here is bees both years.. this year was worse. I've never in my life seen so many bees and I've never been stung by a bee up until now. Children couldn't eat there lunch there because bees were everywhere, so uncontrollable and it's not the staffs fault but they should warn people ahead of time. Unless they get the bees under control I don't think I can visit again. read more

Corn maze is not a maze. It's a scavenger hunt. Kids never bought in. $33 for me and two kids. A bit pricey. We went for the "carnival " games they have. Well, they were either busted or missing equipment to work properly. Asked for refund after 30 min of finding no activities to do and was denied. Oh, and parents not watching kids was an issue too. read more
