Great beach houses right on the coast for you to rent. Great for family vacations. There was plenty of rooms for our large group and a hot tub to rest in after a long day of beach combing.

The location is near perfect (between Lincoln City and Newport) and has a beautiful beach. The house is about $275 a day to stay and it is totally worth every penny. The owners have excellent tastes and they have anticipated everything that you may need to make your stay just like home. We have a family of 4 and we find this home just the right size. We have 2 daughters 5 & 11 and they sleep together so they are able to share the 2nd room. From the Viking oven to the 4 star bed linens this place is heaven I cannot say enough amazing adjectives to describe this beauty "Isabella". The only negative is the property management. Unfortunately you have to go through a company or more accurately a person whom in my opinion does not represent the warmth and beauty of " Isabella" please don't let that stop you or turn you away from staying here, it is merely a detail that is easily forgotten once you walk through the door. I have referred many people here and everyone loves it. Just a magical place.

Shalleshan: Where the Mountains Meet the Ocean and Heaven Touches the Coast…read more I'll be honest. I'd watched a video of someone complaining about the coffee, and another lady battling the wind as it whipped across the beach. I arrived wondering what kind of experience or deal I was really getting myself into. Was this place all it was cracked up to be? Then I arrived. And just like that, my doubts disappeared. Shalleshan took my breath away. From the spa and golf course to the beach and surrounding resort, this place was nothing short of spectacular. The accommodations overlook the inlet, with sweeping views that stretch all the way to the mighty Pacific Ocean. Hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, open decks, and million-dollar views. Suddenly, I felt like I had wandered onto an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, except I was the one lucky enough to be standing there. The landscape unfolds like a painting. Emerald-green fairways sweep down toward the bay, where the water meets the rugged coastline. Beyond it, the Pacific rolls and crashes against the shore, sending waves tumbling into white foam while seagulls glide overhead, calling out against the sound of the surf. There's something almost magical about it all. The salty ocean breeze brushes your face as you wander barefoot across the sand, the cool grains shifting beneath your feet. The beach leads you toward rugged rocks, and beyond them, the forested mountains rise into the coastal mist. Somewhere above, an eagle cries out, reminding you that this wild stretch of Oregon still belongs to nature. Here, the scenery changes with every glance. One moment, you're watching the waves roll in from the ocean. The next, you're gazing across the peaceful inlet, surrounded by towering evergreens and mountain air. It's a place where the beach, the coast, and the mountains come together in one breathtaking panorama. And suddenly, that coffee complaint doesn't seem quite so important anymore. Sometimes, you have to put down the phone, step away from the reviews, and experience a place for yourself. Because no video, photograph, or online opinion can truly capture the feeling of standing somewhere this beautiful. Shalleshan isn't just a destination. It's an experience. A place to slow down, breathe deeply, listen to the ocean, and remember that some of life's greatest luxuries aren't things you can buy. They're moments you get to experience. Five stars for the scenery, the atmosphere, and the unforgettable coastal beauty. If you're looking for a little Pacific Northwest magic, Shalleshan delivers it in waves. And if the coffee isn't perfect? Well, there's always the ocean to wake you up.

I was so excited for my stay at Salishan! I've seen so much buzz online and have had several…read morefriends stay there, so I was really looking forward to the experience. The staff we interacted with were all so kind and lovely, but unfortunately, the overall hotel experience fell short of my expectations. For starters, I don't think it's clear on the website that the hotel isn't one large building. We were placed in room 163 and felt so far removed from the main hotel experience. Honestly, the area felt more like an apartment complex than a resort. We paid for a King Deluxe Suite, but the room felt more like a motel room. The furniture was outdated, and it just wasn't what we had envisioned for the price. Our room also overlooked other rooms rather than the beautiful views we were expecting, which was disappointing. I also wasn't aware that the spa was across the road from the hotel. I had assumed it would be right outside the hotel, so having to drive over was unexpected. That said, the spa itself was wonderful, and I would absolutely visit again! Overall, I really wanted to love our stay, but the hotel accommodations left much to be desired. I think more transparency on the website about the property layout, room locations, and what guests can expect would go a long way. And when influencers are paid to stay at the property, I think it's important to show the full picture, not just the upgraded rooms and experiences they may receive. Not every guest is going to have that same experience, and people deserve to know what they're actually paying for.

We will definitely look at booking this house again when staying at the beach. We booked this house…read morefor the first time for Labor Day weekend 2017 for our large family. It is more than well-equipped for cooking at the house and had plenty of space for all of us. The view is amazing and the deck or perfect for our dogs and little kids. This is a multi-level home so if you're handicap or have trouble going up and down stairs, this would not be a good house to rent. They had tons of beach toys, games, and puzzles (although some were missing pieces, which wasn't surprising). The kitchen, although VERY WELL EQUIPPED, was small and difficult for more than one person to cook in at a time, but it was workable for us. The propane grill worked great and they had tons of deck chairs and side tables to use on the deck. One of the only downsides is that there is no bathroom upstairs and the stairs going up there are steep and narrow. That's a challenge if you have to go potty in the night. Lol. There are two full bathrooms but only one has a shower (the other is a tub only). Also, you cannot access the beach directly off the property. You must go down the street to get to the beach and the access there is very steep and slippery. In fact, even though it was totally dry out we still struggled to get footing on the way down, as a result my mother ended up falling and breaking her leg I can't imagine how slick it would be when it is wet. We later found a beach access south but it was a lengthy walk, or you had to go across private property to get to it. It was worth it to go that way the next time we went to the beach to avoid anyone else getting injuries.
