My goal is to help create change within relationships that can be maintained long after the therapy process has ended. I specialize in working with children with a variety of challenges, traumas and behavioral difficulties. When working with children, I have found that the inclusion of caregivers is the greatest way for a family to reach their goal. My practice also focuses on working with couples and relationship difficulties. I have found that relationships fall into negative patterns that lead to feelings of disconnect and insecurity. I help couples and families identify these patterns so that they can rebuild an emotional connection that is secure and often stronger than before. Additionally, I have in-depth knowledge and trainings in: • Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) • Play Therapy • sex Therapy • Family Systems Therapy • Clinical Supervision I look forward to not only meeting with you but also helping you meet your goals.

This is an updated review to the one I left a few months ago.. after all of that, My parents…read morereceived calls from Shari yesterday basically threatening us if we did not take reviews down... and that my review was untrue. Really? That's interesting. I have never met someone this arrogant- please, do not trust this woman with your money, children, trauma, or brain. She may have been great at what she does at one point, but if she is capable of this level of arrogance and neglect it is UNREAL to me. She has showed zero compassion or care and her last two phone calls prove my last review better than I ever could have. Had she called and asked.. to maybe just talk? See how I was doing and see how she could improve after what happened with me? I probably would have taken the reviews down. Now? Oh, hunny... I will be going to to BBB and anywhere else I can. I will also be reporting this to yelp. Asking people to remove reviews and essentially threatening them with a bill if they don't....um nope! You can not do that, not at all. Thank you for showing your true colors Shari, I hope at least one other person is saved from the experience I had. Maybe next time, let's remember that reviews exist for this exact purpose and when someone is upset with you....I suggest finding out why and handling the situation like an adult. Thanks OH.. I FORGOT TO MENTION.. she left the voicemails for my mother yesterday, ( I am a 33 year old grown adult), and asked my parents to help her get these reviews taken down. She also said on the voicemail that I had a psychiatrist and a therapist at that time, so she basically was not responsible for me in anyway. I have never once seen a psychiatrist in my life....let alone was under the care of one when I was in contact with Shari... one little example that shows how much Shari just does not listen. There were about 5 similar blatant inaccuracies in her phone call, that I truly thinks she believes. It is nothing other than arrogance, she has lost touch with herself. We see that with success all the time, it is clear as day with Shari. The fact that she called a grown adults mother, bashing her mental health, only trying to get a very valid review taken down.... is disgusting. How can someone who works with traumatized people think that is in any way ok to do or be that out of touch? Scary. My parents stand behind me 100% and saw the damage done by my experience here. This is serious and I will not be silenced. If you don't want bad reviews, do your job. If you make a mistake, make it right. SIMPLE.

I am a female Survivor, and found the wings Foundation while trying to look for a support group. I…read moretold them in the very beginning that I didn't want to waste their time or want my time to be wasted if there was stuff that I needed to have that that I didn't. I am someone that has done the majority of healing all on my own. I was supposed to have an interview with them today at 10 a.m. they have stated that one of their biggest things is that people have an emergency contact. This is not always possible for those of us who've done the majority of work on our own when we come from a rough background. Due to this obligation, I haven't received any contact back from them after they told me they would contact me in approximately 10 minutes after finding out whether or not it was a necessity to have an emergency contact. This at this point I have rescinded my wanting to be a part of their support group and do not recommend anybody else that needs a support group go through them because they are not fully up-front about their services. They want you to have an emergency contact no matter the detriment of your health. If your emergency contact would be a person that hurt you cool at least it is an emergency contact or you're not welcome. The value of this organization is that it is a detriment to the health of anyone that does not have an emergency contact that would not be a detriment to your health.

It explained so many things about why I have had difficulty with relationships and trust, etc. It made me realize that my responses are "normal" for someone who goes through this kind of experience --- that it is simply what happens --- it's being human. THEN it gives you strategies for changing the things that protected you as a child but are interfering with your life as an adult. This group was a very healing experience for me.

I would give zero stars if possible. I was referred here for DV classes. I was uneasy filling out…read morethe intake survey, asking very personal questions unrelated to why I was there before ever meeting with anyone in person. Next they require you to pay 240 dollars for an evaluation from 2 therapist. In my case both were men. Questions ranged from what happened the day of the incident (okay makes sense) to asking if you were ever sexually abused or raped. Now, I have not, however being a woman if I had suffered from that I don't feel 2 men asking you on a zoom call that you met 10 minutes ago would make me feel very comfortable nor forthcoming. That is something you share after building a relationship with a trusted therapist. After this evaluation they give you a rating which decides your treatment plan. In my case this was my first time ever in trouble, no history of violence, anger, assault, drug or alcohol problems. I also took at 16-hour DV class prior to this in which I would not be given credit for or even asked which one it was. So, I was very surprised when they rated me level c, the most extreme which requires 2 classes per week plus a therapy class. Conveniently for them each class is 35 dollars and only offered weekdays, in person, at 2:45pm and 5:00pm. I work 9-5 as does most of America. I also do not own my own car and share with my bf. I explained this and was told I need to make this a priority, which I understood but I don't think my boss will be okay with me leaving 2-3 times a week early for what could be to 9 months of classes and therapy according to "level c". I called, emailed, left messages and the only response I was given until my PO got involved was not to contact them 2 ways. In that time frame of no response, they went ahead and enrolled me in the classes. Everything seemed wrong from feeling uncomfortable with them to lack of consideration of having to work which is also a requirement of probation (holding a job). So, I went on google and here to look more into them and see all these alarming reviews. I contacted my PO and attorney. They allowed me to change facilities and have second evaluation done at a place that offers virtual classes. The last thing you should stress about is losing your job after going through a situation that is already draining on your finances. I truly believe they are taking advantage of people between a rock and a hard place with such high prices. It is clear the objective is to make money and not focused on helping people who want to just do the work and put this behind them. Telling you that you cannot miss more than 3 classes, no more than 2 in a row, but not offering them in the evening. Very disappointed all around.
