We are so grateful for Dr. Rozi, Dr. Ha, Dr. Rahman, and Corajma who have shown such genuine care and kindness toward my kids and myself. My kids actually enjoy coming to the doctors, which is a blessing. The front desk is always so welcoming, the nurses are patient and sweet, and the doctors are absolutely wonderful. I will never forget being a scared first time mommy in the middle of the night, calling Beach Ped's doctor on call. Dr. Rozi answered and gave us such helpful advice and encouragement. The next day, I phoned again and she said "I was just going to call you." I could hear her toddler playing in the background. My husband and I were so grateful that she was thinking of us even though she was so busy. Honestly, we've seen every doctor in the office and they are so loving. My son always goes to see Corajma after his appointment, who treats him with such warmth and gives him a lollipop and stickers. Several years ago, we experienced one front desk rep in particular who was extremely rude and made frequent scheduling errors, and some billing snafus. But things have so greatly improved with Corajma at the front. I'm now thoroughly happy to recommend Beach Pediatrics! If there's one suggestion I could make, an online portal/EMR system so we could access appointments, visit summaries, and documents would be great. Tech-wise, the office is kind of stuck in the 90's. But the people are wonderful and that's what matters most! read more

I tried setting up an appointment with this office, and Rhonda from the billing office was not very helpful. She didn't follow up from my initial phone call when she was supposedly going to verify my insurance. When I called back, she told me that she needs immunization records to schedule an appointment, then I told her she didn't mention that last time. I had the vaccine records sent in, and she tried to tell me my son was missing 2 vaccinations, which I had to point out to her that he wasn't. I ended up telling her this process was more complicated than it needed to be, and so I'm not going to bother trying their office. Also FYI, they don't take new appointments any later than 2pm, which means I would have to take my kids out of school. There is probably a reason behind it, but if this is how their staff works, I'm afraid of how it's going to work out for future visits. read more

I can't speak highly enough about Beach Pediatrics Doctors and Staff! Dr Ha is the BEST and is our primary doctor. Our kids have been seen by everyone in this office and has received the best care under all of the Physicians. Mike is awesome! He handles all of our referrals and insurance approvals. Coraima is in the front office and is AMAZING! She is always busy, checking in patients and answering ALL phone calls and still provides exceptional customer service. If you come here, just know, Dr Ha is always in high demand. And I'm not joking! She is so personable and has the best bedside manners. She genuinely cares about our family! If you need a last minute same day appt, they'll try their best to get you in and if it's not with your PCM, it will be with one of the other physicians, and that is OK! As long as your child is being seen for any illness, it's better than not being seen at all. I almost didn't want to leave this review because part of me was being selfish and didn't want more people to come here BUT, that's not fair to them. Incompetent office staff. Wouldn't recommend going here unless you like problems and complications and have to do everything yourself. Called and gave patients information on the phone only for them to come back from a quick hold completely confused as to who the patient is. Called for same day appointment, made it clear I just called and is calling back to take the appointment, and front desk asks what day I wanted to bring my sick kid in. Please drug test all of them, they all seem really confused at the simplest request. This happens almost every single time I called. If it wasn't for Dr Rosie, we would not be coming back to this office. She's the only thing saving this complete disaster of a doctor office. read more

She has the nastiest attitude ever and talks in a condescending tone to everyone, from all the times I have been there. I was there the other day with my two daughters and the front desk girls kept talking and laughing with her about their personal lives while making us wait. My kids both went to Beach Pediatrics and always received the best care. Now all these years later, I called for assistance with some medical records and was so impressed with the prompt attention I received. It was so nice to have a human answer the phone immediately and when they didn't have access to what I needed, rather than hang up, they put me through to Michael. He went above and beyond to help me and really cared about my request. It seems after all these years, they're just as caring as they were when my kids were little. We've been coming here for 8 months and love Dr Rosie, but today decided to switch pediatricians. The front desk staff were terrible; my wife needed a form sent to her, and was told it'd take 2-3 months to email. That's not a typo: in 2025, this doctor's office said their "system was backlogged" and emailing a form would take months. This was the last straw, and while we will miss Dr Rosie, we will not miss the terrible customer service. New parents: Don't make the same mistake we did -- listen to all the negative reviews here and go somewhere else. read more

Let me start off by saying, my oldest child has been a patient of Dr. HA for 11 years. With each subsequent child, I have entrusted Dr. HA and was extremely happy with our choice. After having my last a few months ago, this was no longer the case. We were switched to Dr. Stephens with no explanation at all. Every time I would call the office to set up an appointment, they would revert back to scheduling us with Dr. Stephens. At first I was told she was really busy and booked up 4 months in advance. No problem, I'll schedule my child's 4 month visit then. Call the office, the same story again. Until I just decided to ask the front office, have we been switched to Dr. Stephens without a notice? To that, she replied yes. No further notice or explanation. Not that Dr. Stephens is not a capable and amazing doctor, however, wouldn't any parent like to continue to see the Dr. they've been with for 11 years? No explanation whatsoever from the front office nor the doctors. If a practitioner can no longer take on patients in her care, do we as parents of young children not deserve to be notified? If you're looking for a pediatrician for your child and care you can entrust, I highly recommend looking around for a practice that takes a higher road in explaining what is exactly happening. I believe patients deserve more courtesy than "we're booked up 6 months ahead" for a particular doctor. It's a shame that after years of having my children seen by their regular pediatrician, we are just reduced to a number. My children deserve a better facility than the run arounds we were met with. Please use common courtesy as a practice and practitioners to treat your patients with a little more respect than what we were met with. read more

As a Dr with my own office for 21 years i hate to leave a negative review but this one has been been a long time coming. I have held back and put up with the negative front office staff for many years. The back office is amazing. Mike the nurse and Dr Ha always kept us coming back. I had to call it quits after many years and many poor front office experiences. I'm in Louisiana on a family emergency. My 15 year old daughter is sick. I filled out all the online forms so grandpa could take her to be seen. The lovely Hispanic girl in the front who has always been still refuses to see her after her and grandpa who is 85 years old sat for 40 minutes. We filled out everything online so they could see her. Front office girl then says you need to sign it. I'm 2000 miles away. She said it's our policy. She then said I will instruct grandpa to go find an urgent care. I said we have been patients here since she was born . She responded in an extremely sarcastic town and said, "well I guess I will disturb the Dr and ask for approval. ". I said yes please do that. She Said " well I guess I'll have to for you. ". They did see my daughter but there wasn't any reason for her to treat my 85 year old dad this way or myself. As a Dr I understand staff training. They are many reviews that sound similar to mine. I think you have a bad apple that enjoys this sort of thing based on the reviews I see. I hope Dr Ha takes lone minute to look. But I doubt it. Once you call in they transfer you to another line to check if you can be a new patient and then it either goes to voicemail or they decline you as a new patient weather or not your assigned to them through your insurance. Doctors here are great, especially Dr. Ha. She is one of the best doctors that we've had. She gets 5+ stars from us. However, the lady in front desk (her name is CRYSTAL) is the worst and rude, and billing office is incompetent. They sent the bill for our new born to a wrong insurance company, provided zero support to help resolve the issue. I had to contact to my health insurance company to clear things up. The worst part is the front desk lady named Crystal. She confused my wife and myself, gave wrong/inconsistent information, and had bad attitude when we had questions. That was the worst customer service ever. She's rude and mean. She threw the appointment card in front of my wife and had very bad attitude (even when I spoke to her on the phone). You know what Crystal (I hope you read this), you're very lucky that I was not there when you're throwing the card and had that bad attitude to my wife. Otherwise, I would make sure you get terminated immediately. That is not professional and unacceptable as expected at a doctor office. Remember we're not begging you for money so don't treat us like crap. If you are not happy with what you're doing then just quit your job. I don't even know what kind of job you can do since you absolutely have no customer service skill. Beach Pediatrics needs to re-train the admin staff, especially Crystal. Dr Ann Ha is the ONLY saving grace at this place. The FRONT DESK staff is horrible. I don't understand, do they not check yelp and see the continuous complaints about the front staff? Is the doctors not in charge of them? They literally act and operate like they're the DMV (no offense to the DMV staff). We were checking out and the whole front staff went on break. We had to wait until someone finally saw us to be checked out. Also, when we call, they're always rude or doesn't seem to know what they're talking about. It's unfortunate because Dr Ann Ha. I've been taking my son here for 6months now, we go to Dr. Rosie and we absolutely love how patient she's been with us and how we choose to vaccinate spread out. We LOVE Dr. Ha. She is absolutely amazing with babies and kids and I wish she was located at a different office. Other than Dr. Ha and Dr. Rosie, I would not recommend this office. Office is dated and seems dirty. There is no sick patient and we'll patient rooms, which is concerning when there are coughing teens in the waiting room with your newborn for their checkup. Front office is super rude. Typically there for close to an hour and a half with my toddler which is a nightmare. At 9 months my baby got a 103 fever and I was panicked calling the office because we couldn't get it down - the front desk told me that she needed a Covid test for them to see her or help and that the doctors couldn't jump on a call because their schedules were booked... Other times when we had urgent concerns we saw the backup doctors and we're not thrilled with the advice given. We decided to leave and go to a different ped that has a better office/support staff/network that makes us feel more comfortable and taken care of. (Again - doctor Ha is an angel and I would follow her anywhere else!) read more

I have to say hands down, all the doctors at Beach Pediatrics seem great. But honestly, I only go for Dr. Ha. She is an amazing doctor but her personality is what really sticks with you. You can tell she's coming from a place that genuinely cares about you and your kids. My daughter loves her. We been going to her for the past 3 years and at home when she plays pretend doctor. She pretends to be Dr. Ha. I love that my daughter can see her doctor as someone who cares for her and someone that she can look up to. When my 2nd child was born, hands down, i knew that Dr. Ha had to be both of their doctors. I'm not one to sick with a doctor forever but she's definitely an exception to that rule. If she ever finds another place, I'm going with her :) On another note, I have to agree with everyone else.. The front office staff seems to lack knowledge and isn't always the nicest. Love the doctors, but we had to change our primary care pediatrician and leave Beach Pediatrics. Our son had been seeing Dr. Ha since he was born, but once we changed our insurance to a Covered California plan, our insurance was no longer accepted, unless we wished to pay exorbitantly out of pocket for routine checkups. Our Covered California plan is a PPO that accepts claims from out-of-scope doctors, but the front office here will refuse it and insist on 100% out of pocket payment. Doctors are good, front desk needs work. If you ever change insurance to a Covered California plan in order to save money on your insurance premium, be prepared to lose access to this doctor and some implied shame. read more

I'm sad to write this review because I absolutely LOVED Dr. Rozi. But holy Bananas the FRONT OFFICE LADIES!!! What a joke absolutely a joke. They are clueless and not one bit helpful. Dealing with my insurance, we are covered 100% but for some reason every time we go they say our insurance is not accepted. And it is, we have been going to them over 3 years with my 5 kids and it's worked and we were covered every time. They just have to put a little more effort into doing their job and unfortunately call my insurance directly. Oh wait you mean their financial person has do actually do something??? It has happened a couple times now, and it's worked out fine. But not this time. This time they made me feel and look like a fool in front of other patients. Oh man they treated me like I'm some sad case no money pheasant that can't pay my bills and my insurance was almost like it was a disease and they wouldn't touch it! Really, really??? You're going to treat a person like that? They have treated me rude in the past but this time was the final push that broke me to write this review. Heart broken and brain extremely frustrated! We loved the actual Dr, but now i will NOT be coming back. So now we have to go through the whole hassle of finding a new Dr and paying more money to become an established patient for my 5 kids and build a new relationship with a whole new team of Drs and nurses. When we moved away from Huntington Beach, I had no idea that our paths would cross again--until today, as I was frantically searching for vaccination records for my 17 year old. This review is for the receptionists and the accounting person (The doctor and nurses are great and attentive. They take their time with the patient). Receptionists and the accounting person however are all rude and condescending. Receptionists never utter a welcome to us. Walking in and got met with blank faces and cold stares. They just throw me a load of paperwork and let me fill them out, giving out instruction with a rude tone. The accounting lady is even worst. Very condescending and extremely rude. She does not want to deal with the insurance and is rude if you are requesting something from her. She always speak over me and never listen when I explain my situation to her. She needs to have a little empathy and patience especially working at the place with children. read more

It's unfortunate to see the bad reviews on this place. We are so lucky that Dr. Ha and Dr. Rosie were the on site pediatricians when I gave birth to my son. Dr. Rosie is our primary now and she has been with us since the beginning, which was over a year ago. We have since seen all the other doctors when Dr. Rosie is off duty (my son gets sick a lot, I blame it on redhead genes) and they are all so amazing and have been very accommodating to us when we need a last minute appointment. My son had lots of issues with acid reflux and other gastrointestinal issues since he was premature, and Dr. Rosie never pushed our fears away and told us he's fine. She took every thing we said seriously and gave us referral after referral to get him better and today after being on medicine for about half a year his reflux issues are completely gone. It is so relieving to have a child that isn't in a massive amount of discomfort and it is because Dr. Rosie and the staff truly care about us. The front office staff is amazing and know us by name when I call to talk to the advice lady, Ann. She gives us very practical advice and tells us when she thinks we should come in for an appointment. We are so lucky to have found this place and to have a pediatrician that we can stay with throughout my child's life. We have been with Dr. Rosie since our son was born. From birth, he has had issues with his eczema and allergies. He is severely allergic to fish, eggs, tree nuts, dairy, soy, wheat, and dogs. He is also moderately allergic to cats. Dr. Rosie has patiently attended to our sons needs every time we came to see her. She always goes above and beyond for him. Just to put things into perspective, my husband works as a HEDIS nurse during high season. His measures included auditing pediatricians throughout all of Orange County. He had to review HUNDREDS of files and, coincidently enough, his measures were for pediatricians. He reviewed each and every doctor and saw what treatments they prescribed for their patients and he can confidently confirm that Dr. Rosie has recommended/prescribed what they have and much much more. In the midst of changing insurance companies, we were worried that we would lose Dr. Rosie and our sons pediatrician. We contacted the office just to get a list of the insurance companies they accept just so we can make sure we will stay with him until throughout Liams childhood. And also, I agree with the above review. I truly believe that this practice deserves five stars. At the end of the day, it is not the billing department or the front desk that attends to my son, it is the doctors. And as long as Dr. Rosie is our sons primary pediatrician, then I know he is in great hands. read more
