My sessions lasted about an hour and 15 minutes each and cost over $500 each time! It was particularly annoying to hear her answer incoming calls during my session and tell cheerily tell callers that they could have touch up services for $25-$35 per hour. I ended up needing MORE than six sessions. So I spent over $3000. Then I went 2-3 more times at the $25/hour rate. Except she charged me $50 once, and $100 once, as I remember. I present you with one of my hairy legs today. Well over $3000 for THIS?? I'm thinking of filing a lawsuitA few years later and I'm about as hairy as I've ever been, but now with SOME blotchy, SEMI-hair free spots. And please don't believe that Laser hair removal is painless. It hurts like an *SOB* in areas with bone near the surface, like shins, knee caps and ESPECIALLY the face. OMG‼

The process is…read morepainful, there's just no getting around it, but the laser that she uses does help to minimize the pain a bit. (Pro tip: take a couple Tylenol before you go!) I also love how comfortable she makes me feel. Certain areas of the body are just... awkward... to get lasered, but Debbie's professional and easygoing attitude make the process much more comfortable. Again, I highly recommend!

But then, I stumbled across a video of "sugaring" and Long story short, I found Lauren through extensive yelp/google research and survived to give y'all this review lol. 1) OMG WTH??!! What pain??! I flinched here and there but it was so bearable. The first pull was the worst but she's great at keeping your mind focused on conversation instead of the current situation. Honestly, having a bandaid pulled off my arm is so much worse than what I experienced with Lauren 2) I drove from Garland, all the way there and I plan on doing it again in 4-6 weeks bc that's how good she is! 3) shout out to Groupon! My brazilian was only $26 (plus tip) 4) this was my FIRST TIME ever getting anything done down there. And wow what have I been missing out on?? I did make sure to exfoliate/scrub in the shower the days leading up to the sugaring. So maybe that helped with the pain?? Because I have VERY coarse hair, and it was definitely longer than 1/4 inch Today is Friday, I got my brazilian done Wednesday but I wanted to wait a couple days to make sure I didn't have any type of reactions lol. And of course I didn't. Go to Organic My Skin! And tell her DeCoria sent you so I can get that 15% referral discount lol

The BEST Salon Experience in the Tampa area -- Especially for Blondes!…read more I feel so unbelievably blessed to have found Christina through the official MoroccanOil website. She is the only MoroccanOil-sponsored stylist I could find in the entire Tampa / St. Pete / Lakeland area -- and thank goodness she is, because she is absolutely extraordinary. I had just moved here from New York and was desperate to find someone who understood blonde coloring and worked with MoroccanOil color. I reached out to Christina on Instagram and she responded immediately. She followed up with me via text, which I appreciated. She was so kind, welcoming, and got me in right away. Honestly, it wasn't until I met her in person that I realized how special she and this salon truly are. Not only did she nail my blonde perfectly, but she also understood the unique challenge of lifting color on someone like me who has natural ash blonde hair with strawberry undertones. My blonde almost always leans red with other brands, but MoroccanOil color takes beautifully on me, and she had my exact formula ready to go. She matched my inspo photo (2025 Julianne Hough vibes!) flawlessly. The tone is PERFECT for my complexion, the cut is gorgeous, and I am absolutely obsessed with my hair. Her professionalism, warmth, precision, and speed are just unmatched. And the salon itself? Pure comfort. A big, airy layout with plenty of room to breathe -- no cramped stations or bumping elbows with strangers. Cozy couches, relaxing vibes, spotless floors, and tons of parking both front and back. You truly feel at home the second you walk in. What moved me even more was learning that the salon had been destroyed during Hurricane Milton. The resilience in rebuilding, the love poured back into the space, and their commitment to the community are incredible. While I was there, the salon was literally doing a holiday gift drive for local children -- and I watched an entire SUV full of donated presents get picked up. That tells you everything about the heart of this place. IF YOU'RE A BLONDE, LOOK NO FURTHER, Trust Me. I asked for MoroccanOil everything because she carries the full line for washing, styling, and retail. She also has the full Amika line and a few others. But I'm a MoroccanOil girl through and through, and she completely tailored the service to what works best for my hair. I drove 45 minutes to get here and I'd happily drive an hour or more. When you find someone who can do blonde RIGHT, distance doesn't matter. Whether you live in Brandon or anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and book with Christina (or Amanda -- she had a full schedule too and clearly has a devoted clientele). These women are staples in the community and absolute masters at what they do. I will 100% be back -- and anyone who knows the blonde struggle knows how HUGE that is. Run, don't walk. This salon is a gem, and Christina is magic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I called the Salon after it was expired to see if I could use the money I had already paid to the salon as a credit towards a service and they flat out said no. So basically I wasted $35 for a service that I will never use with them because they are being greedy. Had they been better about the situation, I would have spent much more getting my hair done with them because I was planning on getting the works done on my hair ( color, highlights, trim and style). I hope keeping the $35 was worth it when you still would have made at least $150 on me not including the 20% tip I usually leave for the work.
