I think that the employees are wonderful, Heather always helped me right away when I called. My lawn is currently littered with large rocks and sand, as well as extensive permanent scratch damage to the majority of the fence posts and 3 gates. Would not recommend Fence Outlet to anybody.

I had a disappointing experience with this company. Communication throughout the installation…read moreprocess was inconsistent, with multiple calls and texts going unanswered. After the gate was installed, I noticed a gap between the gate and post and was told it was standard. After a rainstorm with wind, the gate fell to the ground. None of my neighboring gates fell during the same weather. I later learned that a support bracket had not been installed and was told it was an additional item I needed to request. I was told someone would inspect the gate, but no one showed up, and follow-up calls and texts were not returned. I eventually had three other companies inspect the installation. One advised me to have the original installer address it, while the other two stated the gate would require significant work to be removed and reinstalled. The installation cost over $5,000. Less than a year later, I am now having another company completely redo the installation. My main concern is the lack of communication, follow-up, and resolution after the gate failed.

I am writing this review to express my complete satisfaction with H&Y with the purpose of letting…read morethem know as well as to assist anyone who is considering using their services. For reference, I am the President of the BOD for a local condominium Association. After positive past dealings with H&Y I referred them to a member unit-owner to replace a wood courtyard enclosure with vinyl. They were prompt with their estimate and were selected out of three companies by the homeowner to perform the job. The job was completed but needed to be lowered slightly to match the height of others in the Association. Despite a delay caused by the hurricane, Jerry, the owner, saw to it that the adjustment was made to our specifications. Given the relative insignificance of this re-visit in comparison to the volume of fence work a hurricane can produce, H&Y kept their commitment and for that the homeowner and I were thoroughly impressed. It is not often these days that we witness this kind of integrity in business dealings so when we do we must recognize it. I would recommend H&Y for fence and enclosure jobs without reservation. - Gary B.

At the 7 week mark, I was curious because no one had called me with an update on my order. They said they would call in a couple of weeks once they had my install ready to schedule. Jason did call and schedule for the following week at 9am. There were some set-backs on install day, for I had been scheduled to be 9am and by 10am, no one had shown up or called. Having taken the morning off, I was upset when I ended up having to take the full day off and they didn't even arrive until after 2pm. The crew was very efficient, with Sergio heading the team. They worked for a couple of hours. Glad I was there, to review fence before they finalized or they would have installed the fence sloped to accommodate the yard. Fence should be even, dirt can be added to even the slope of the yard on the side of the house. The posts were corrected and fence install continued. Second day they came back and finished the job. Fence looks great and truly adds value to the house. I think the installation crew is top notch. The office staff really needs to improve on their communication skills with their customers. It's like they don't care about the customer but boy did they call right away to get paid. No one ever apologized for making me wait all day when I had been scheduled for a 9am install.
