I have been tanning here for several years and regardless of what previous owners did or didn't do, today's experience at Beach Glo Tanning is wonderful. Carmine, the owner, cares about his salon and his customers. He allowed me to purchase an annual membership because that is what I had done at previous salons before moving into the area. The new level 5 bed is amazing, but if that bed is taken and I am in a hurry, I will use level 3 or level 4. All of them are wonderful. They also thoroughly clean each bed between clients. I used to tan here all the time and now it is under new ownership and is absolutely terrible. When I went in to reactivate my account they were unable to do so so I had to wait 30 minutes and then could not even tan. The next day when I showed up to see if I can then go tanning no one even came in to open the salon. Then after that the guy working the front desk didn't seem like he had any clue what he was doing kept having to call the owner. Then could not figure out how to turn the lights on in the tanning bed. The beds in the rooms were disgusting and like they have not been clean. Will not be going back ever again. read more

This place is horrible!! Total shit shack!! Dirty. Owner is a joke and over priced !! Very unfair sometimes the rooms are clean other times they are disgusting! The bathroom is foul cigarette ashes all over the floor.. gross to even smoke cigarettes in there business, only one good bed. Others are coffins and very over priced !! They try and scam you with lotions my friend got ringworm from bed number 7 ! So disgusting read more

Been a monthly membership level 5 person since the previous owners. When found out they sold to another hardworking father (who is in basically every single day so he has the ability to run his business they way HE would want to be treated (As well as identifying all the non-working patterns from previous ownership and correcting them asap), I was blindsided but nevertheless very hapoy to find out the level 5 bed go we u "Bonus" minutes (3 min!) If u hit the button upon entering the bed...i had not been shown that, and explanation of any question possible which made me feel evwn more comfortable. To make this shorter than this review seems to coming out to be (considering I'm a paragraph in already and ONLY on OPENING DAY -lol- ) I feel that we did not lose a long-time local owner, however gained a knowledgeable new one who is not afraid to tell you the true path on order to get the best tan (whether benefits his business at that moment or NOT), one who understands the concept that u need to SPEND money to make money i.e. maintaining and changing out ALL level bed bulbs no matter the cost of the them in a timely manner so each customer continues to get the best tan for whichever level they find suits them the best and lastly, I enjoy seeing them become a huge part of our community. His son included (who is not, may I add, afraid to clean any and all beds to help out. Bc that is what family does. As he is a teenager, it's awsome to see! All the beds are great. I recommend switching the levels up. I use 4 and 5. Even level 3 if you tan frequently bc the bulbs make the bed. Not necessarily the glitz and spritz the beds come as all now. I hv tanned in franchises with top-line beds and don't recieve a tan better than a level 2 bc it does not matter if bulbs are overused!! read more
