Urgent Care and my eye Dr couldn't help the first time this happened. I needed style removal surgery and I had no idea that was a thing. It was amazing to get "a system of styes" off my poor eyelid. I woke up a day after my trip to a swollen shut eye and swelling in my face they got me right in. I could not have had better care. They are so good getting me quickly. My last appointment I made for the next day from the airport! I'm looking forward to the day I get cataracts after reading a brochure in the waiting room. I feel I'll trust them with my eyes. To see 20/20 in our old age sounds amazing. I've had glasses/contacts for 45 years. I never thought that would be something to look forward to!

He looked at everything as a whole- my eyes, skin, nose issues, and how they were all connected. He was thorough, attentive, and very to the point. For the first time, I felt truly heard and understood. His approach gave me clarity and relief after 2 weeks of uncertainty. I'm incredibly grateful for his care.

At first, I was scared. After hearing "no, no, no" for over 10 years and being told I wasn't a candidate, getting a "yes" felt almost unreal. I was nervous on the day of surgery, but Dr. Liu and her team were very comforting and made the process quick and painless. They also did a great job with post-op checkups. I couldn't have asked for a better team. I'm now seeing 20/20, and I'm so glad I found them so close to home. Highly recommended, truly the best in the South Bay! They offer a great financing plan, so you can't go wrong choosing them. They are very thorough and professional. Thank you Dr. Liu! Thank you Katie! Thank you Lawrence! I'll see y'all around!

Waiting was kind of long, 40 mins, there were two patients ahead of me. Clean office, staff are adequately polite It took them three tries to dilate my eye, the assistant commented my eye is too stubborn, ha. Since I put down yelp as my referral to the business, both the assistant and the doctor asked me, "what's yelp?" prompting me to give each of them a brife history of yelp individually. Hey, shouldn't I get paid for this? I guess he's well-established here, cause I recognize his face from back in the days when i was working in S. Bay Hospital. No hello or any pleasantry when first seeing me, but instructing me to put my purse on the chair. He seems to be a genteel person, so maybe that's the way he operates. He checked my eye with bright beam of light, and informed me that there is no tear to my retina, but he needs to see me in three weeks. I had a few questions to ask him but he gestured me to leave. Oh well, doctors are busy, I understand that. Overall, nah. I had it better

They only wrote me a prescription for glasses and said I had to come back for another appointment to get the contacts. They should have said that in the FIRST place. I would not have come to see them. VERY VERY misleading in my opinion. I do not have a schedule that allows me to come in on the days she is there. Now I will have to go somewhere else to get my contacts. I will not return. Their excuse is that sometimes they have a girl answer e phones who doesn't know all the procedures. Might want to educate your staff.

I first saw Dr. Gallemore for a detached retina and he saw me immediately and did a great job…read morerepairing it. But .... he continued to have me come back for recheck after recheck for YEARS and each time made a new diagnosis, did a new procedure or test. He diagnosed macular degeneration and sold me his vitamins. He did umpteen fluorescent dye tests. He laser zapped what he said were minor detachments umpteen times. He had me on drops for unresolved inflammation of my retina for years. When I finally trusted my gut and saw a new retinologist he confirmed I don't have macular degeneration and there was no inflammation. And the drops weren't even meant to treat inflammation. It's been years and I've never needed a dye test or laser zap again so all that testing and treatment was undoubtedly just padding the medicare bill. And his office is a mill - appointments are meaningless and each visit is hours of wait time for a flash bang visit with him. Worse than all that, my husband made an appointment to see Gallemore and without notice was given some new guy. He literally wouldn't hear the history - "I just need to look at your eyes". And he sent him home failing to diagnose ocular stroke which could have killed him. The new Retinologist sent my husband from his office directly to the ER for a stroke workup. Bottom line is I think Gallemore is smart and competent but his penchant for making up problems and doing treatments and tests that are not without risk makes him a danger.
