Way better on the Sea Rocket. I booked my reservation via phone to get information since I had recently had knee surgery. The ladies on the phone were fantastic and my booking was so easy! I decided to choose the Middle bench! Best decision I could have ever made! The view was spectacular. The tour was 75 minutes long and the Captain gave great audio commentary about each of the famous houses... isn't that why we go? The best part was the Captain's dog, he sat still the whole time taking in the Christmas lights! I think he enjoyed it as much as I did! Thank you for a lovely evening! Although there was availability online and we saw 5 jet skis sitting on the beach getting ridden around by employees, they told me the website was wrong and they were full for the day. The good: This was a 3-4 star experience. I booked a…read moresnorkeling tour for 2 for my husband's birthday thru their website. It was easy to book and they had lots of availability. The best part of the trip was how we had the boat exclusively to ourselves! I didn't know it'd be a private tour until the day I came. So, the boat was just a total of 3 people (captain included). The water temperature was great and the clarity was decent. We even saw two dolphins! You meetup at Whiskey Joe's at the marina and you can start your excursion immediately. I liked that you didn't need to wait around much. I was able to see some cool looking fish, a bottom feeder and a crab. You get 2 hours for the snorkeling and you're not required to wear any life vests (in fact, we weren't offered any and I didn't see any). The water is super shallow so it didn't seem dangerous at all. The water is also salty and easy to float in. The boat was nearby the main snorkeling area. The bad: The area for snorkeling was pretty small. It was an artificial reef where the fish were but outside of that area there is just seagrass and there's no living things to observe. The website says snorkeling starts at $75/pp and up but that's misleading b/c that's only the price if you have 8+ people. When I came to the marina, the worker who had me sign paperwork said that "$25/hour tip is required" when I got an email saying 15% tip is optional. My husband clarified and he said "yes, it's required" but later retracted his statement after I clarified that it was strange to give tip upfront before we even went on the excursion. However, I did already give 15% tip upfront on 50% of the value and then Zelled an additional $25 tip to the captain himself afterward. The cost for snorkeling ended up being $407 for 2 people (pricey). The interesting: The captain swam with us to lead us to the reef and then swam back and was mostly on his phone.

They were fun, knowledgeable, and made us feel so safe -- even with my 2-year-old on board! They made sure he had a great time too (honestly I think they liked him more than us ). Our boat was going about 40 mph and making wild turns on the water. A word to the wise, if you don't want to get wet, then sit in the middle area and not the back. You will see the Port of Miami, the Miami downtown skyline, Star Island and Millionaires Row, Palm Island, Fisher Island, South Beach and speed to the Atlantic Ocean. Time it right and you will see the sunset. The Captain and crew are awesome and will give you great info. This is definitely something you want to do in Miami! Adult tickets, age 12+ are $45 and kids 3-11 are $35. Parking can be found at Bayside Marketplace Garage. Check Groupon for specials. You can show up and board fairly quickly. There are plenty of restaurants at Bayside if you are hungry afterwards.

My wife wanted to stay at the hotel but more importantly she wanted BouYah water sports for our friends and family to enjoy. BouYah never disappoints, they make sure you have fun, stay safe and are protected while on the water. Jeff, Luis and Jonathan were awesome and our party had a great time and fun was had by all! In addition to the water sports, Boucher Brothers, Latonya and Lester did a great job with setting up cabanas, chairs and umbrellas to keep our party safe from the sun and the rain. The workers that helped with getting me on the ship were nothing but happy and smiling and they pointed me to where I needed to go because it was my first time on this ship! The ship is part of their older fleet but I love how they have been keeping up with renovations, there was only a couple thing here and there that could use a little more TLC but nothing dated beyond belief. The food was phenomenal and being able to get food here that was included such as their to die for escargot when other ships charge for specialty dining to get something like this was amazing! The buffet section was also very tasty with the insane amount of options and I loved the soft serve ice cream that I had way too many of! The shows are out of this world and the ice show was truly insane! it is crazy what people can do on a small ice rink but make it bigger then imaginable! I also loved being able to go and skate on the rink during one of the days because they had open skating as long as I had my (free) time slot reservation.
