History

Established in 2017.

Lived at the beach area of Valencia since 2014, we are now happy to tell everyone about this area and how to discover it by bike.

Meet the Business Owner: Chris H.

In March 2017, I founded the Beach Bikes bicycle rental shop because of my passion for cycling in Valencia. As a resident of the beach area, I wanted to establish the first bike shop next to Malvarrosa and Cabanyal. The Beach Bikes shop is also easily reachable from Patacona, Benimaclet and Port Saplaya. I'm originally from London, England and have been living in Valencia since 2014. I have ridden on many great cycling routes around Valencia, Alicante and Castellón. I now organise routes on Meetup.com where I'm the Organiser of the Cycling @ Beach Bikes group with more than 300 members (as of May 2018) - Join us! I offer both Guided Tours and Self-Guided tours to help you experience the best routes that Valencia has to offer. Got a question? Please ask! We rented two bikes from Senatibikes during a recent trip to Valencia…read more Price was very reasonable, and the total cost was exactly as agreed. Both Staff we dealt with were absolutely friendly guys -very helpful and I felt trustworthy and honest. The owner is obviously a bike enthusiast so there's an interesting prototype of his own bike creation on show as well. Bikes were perfect for our needs (foldable, compact enough to fit in the elevator of our rental apartment for storing the bikes overnight). Bike Locks provided were very sturdy. Biking around Valencia was AMAZING - great bike lanes going pretty much every where you need to go, well separated from traffic. A great way to see Valenica! My only slight issue with Senatibikes were they are a little difficult to find the location inside the Cuitat Vella/old city - but once you find them it is definitely worth it!
